It might be expensive, it might be hard work. It might not even be worth it but dont underestimate what you guys are achieving. Neo is a monster. You might not be able to play to these guys levels but you are making history and are up there in the story of wc3. Fingers crossed for RaRa land 3.

Lol happy’s Warcraft name always gets me. I saw him smile once this whole tournament and only after he took first place! Maybe cultural differences but smiling and laughing is good for the soul 😂

Happy joined us after the final in the bar, like he did last year. While he is not the most easy person to talk with and clearly struggles with social interaction, he is actually much more open than he seems and actually quite the pleasant guy.

While you would be considered idiot if you always smile without reason in Russia. Happy permanent face expession are not norm. It is actually one of the reason why he has this nickname, he did say it in one of interview. Some of of his friends had considered him unhappy due to his facial expressions, so he decide to prove them that they are wrong, so had taken nickname "happy".

31:30 Supply is 33 for Happy, 50 for Moon who just got 2 hero kills and demolished in the fight and then he still gets stomped and loses
Ofc, he mispositioned DH twice and gave his life for free. He fought with one naga against three UD heroes. It's moon's mistakes and not matchup balance.
UD wins against armies with 70 supply with only three heroes and a statue. This race is an absolute joke

Since it was a lan event, it would have been so much fun if you could catch players reactions as they were playing.
Seeing crowd's reaction also would have been nince as they were very engaging. I think the vibes in the room was so good that not sharing it with the online audience was a missed opportunity.

Dryads are 3 supplies very low on gold cost but they are like 2.5 supply worth.
Gargs are expensive but 2 supply is much more supply efficient.
3 gargs>2 dryads but cost much more gold and time.
Fiends are much more gold than Dryads but also same supply takes 75% dmg from Dryads and deals 150% to them amplified by orb basically a counter unit.
If NE has an expo 5 wisp supply.
So yes in those cases UD fighting practical supply is worth is much bigger.
Especially if gargs can 1 volley down dryads
Basically same as roaches in SC2 bad actual supply but cheap.
Happy is the GOAT without any doubt. Moon is great but I think when UD gets mastered it gets very hard because of the Coil Nova.
Like when I played Ladder in the old Days I was lvl 12 Night Elf a really long time. But when I switched to UD it did not take long until I was lvl 14. The fact is that it is easier to get heroes killed with coil nova.

Amazing play by Happy, there is no denying that. But I do think that for years now, this matchup has been unbalanced at the very top level, and game 2 here is a perfect example of that. Going into that fight at his expansion, Moon had every advantage in the world: more supply, amazing hero levels, better attack/armor upgrades, better income, and so on. Yes, Moon did a big blunder by not having an invul on the DH there instead of the cloak of flames, but this one mistake cost him the game despite all the other advantages. I've seen many inverse situations where the UD just buys DK/Lich back as if nothing happened and still wins, losing DH on the other hand is instant gg.
I'm not saying UD strongest, NE weakest overall: HU is currently slightly op vs UD, and NE is currently slightly op vs HU, but I also think, at the top level, NE has no chance vs UD. Happy and eer0 lose to NE only when they have an off day AND their opponent plays out of his mind.
actually not. Have more supply, but 5 are wisps for exp mining and moon didnt have invul on dh so he was forces to staff dh back and fight w/o him for 5-10 seconds so -5 limit also (or even more as dh > 5 limit). It's not a races, it's about mistakes/underplays.
Also dryads vs fiends are not adventageous army composition, even with few upgrades lead. So basically get invul on dh next time (like happy always does for his heroes).

First of all. He had lvl 4 DH and lvl3 Naga vs 4 DC, 3 Lich, 3 Naga at start of the fight. It is whole lvl3 hero advantage. He also lost his main hero due to lack of invul potion(and he had slot for it due to useless for DH cloack) and failed to assasinate DK due to DK using his invul potion.
If Happy had forgot invul on DK he would have lost DK in this battle and probably whole game. Such mistakes are reason that define who win a game and who lose a game.
And fiend centric army are direct counter to dryads.
@@tank_3487 Yes, it is true that Happy had a whole level 3 hero advantage. And that's exactly the problem. Even despite a really great early game earlier, Moon still couldn't prevent this. UD creeping is just that efficient. Meanwhile a third hero for NE makes no sense, if you add a third hero, it gets instantly nuked. And you can't afford invuls on all three heroes. Similarly, dryads are countered by fiends, yes... But then, what do you play? Anything besides MGs and faeries gets nuked, but getting a high enough number of either at the top level takes too much time.
@@halo3335 if ud nuke 3rd hero, then he wouldn't nuke dh. Etc. I would argue 3rd hero is a great addition to every race's lategame as 5 limit hero tank more and deal more damage than almost any 5 limit unit just by having hero armor type and using skills. Pick potm/dr or even pitlord for rain of fire vs fiends - all are great choices.

It doesn't come from hate, Happy is amazing. He's just... too good... It feels like that somehow undead is OP, but then he is the only one pulling it off, so... Happy is OP.
and I'll say it again: Warcraft III is a competitive video game which BLIZZARD invented, mostly you play 1 against 1 and Happy always win 😎
Happy may lose a game once in a while but beating him in a 5 or 7 game series is basically impossible this patch
@@TheAoalec14 10 years back it was possible to beat happy - and we didnt see him winning grandfinals even if participating as the only one ud in competitive scene. Even orb was stronger, rob of skeletons have lesser cd, destroyers were stronger, statues were stronger, aura were faster, frost armour were stronger and dark ritual provided more mana. So why 10 years later when ud become weaker in almost all regards, it's impossible in this patch? Maybe because proscene become lazier while happy worked hard for years?

im a big happy fan but this finale was the most boring one out of all 3 so far. Moon was completely helpless, repeating the same strat over and over like beating his head against a concrete wall and falling to the same frenzy ghoul push again and again and then those weird free hero donations that evaporated the little advantage he managed to get with so much effort. I was shaking my head all game. The stomp was real and hard to watch moon just getting manhandled like that.
In the end congratz to the emperor . Absolute domination as expected !

Dude. Remember that Moon is already 37 years old guy. He is basically playing WC3 since two decades. How many other players do you know that keep playing a game that long and yet are still capable of either winning a tournament or finishing close? Like really, if you think about that, this is amazing. Happy is probably one of the biggest WC3 talents ever, this dude is just a machne. I also love Grubby. Lyn used to be a god too, now he is a bit behind. But Moon...always at the top. One of the most epic gamers of all time, after all, his lifetime winnings exceed $760k or even more. This is just simply impressive, I was screaming like a madman when he killed Happy's DK in game #2, hoping for him to win and to stop Happy's rampage.

Don’t get me wrong, but. 70 ud supply vs 70 nelf supply doesn’t look balanced at all. Full mana destros coil nova goodbye hero,nuke doesn’t came closer to any other race. Also to see that there’s no way elf can come to ud base for a rush at certain time while ud can come with ghouls rush and kill. I’m pretty sure happy is one of the best, but still ud have many advantages in later games then other races
with equal supply, equal heros level, UD always win

What can you really do against UD as NE though? Even when he's far ahead nothing can beat the UD end game.
Moon and others have tried a bunch of strats. It is just no use. The matchup is fundamentely broken.
No matter what you build, UD just kites it to a pulp, if not just win outright.
NE just doesnt have something to keep up with this fast, always regenerating heap of stuff, that one- or two shots everything it clicks on.

Looks like Moon loves to challenge his limit every time, but sometimes that is really dangerous and uneccessary.
Game 3 was rough. Moon over extended on the naga and lost too much hp without having full moonwells -> instant lose.
With all due respect, I wouldn't give this one a gold star... Still a wonderful tournament though and worth watching!

actually i like seeing dh like back in times. Good classic ne-vs-ud opener hero, also extremely strong nowadays vs ud/human.

I would love to see just a tourney wherever has to pick random. Happy is just unstoppable he was before but this patch is just making it even more daunting to compete with him..I mean he lost 2 maps the whole tourney. Nobody is even close to knocking him off

Nerfed Moonwell however will make it even harder in the future. THAT is a significant nerf. Even if the Idea behind that is not wrong... nerfing NE in patch after patch after patch, while keeping UD as is, makes no sense, when UD wins everything left and right.
NE has no way to prevent the UD from kiting them to dust. If they even make it to a point where this becomes a factor and not die to a frenzy push.

Either drink the moonwell right there before dying, or block the coil with an invul, or the real one - don't let the game reach this state in the first place. This isn't a "game winning play", it's an execution, the closing out of a game that was already won by reaching this point.
Nothing; if you pick ud, reach level 4 dk and 3 lich you autowin by default: easy money, next tournament i ll try for some extra cash at the end of the month
@@marcopizzolitto8048 lvl 4 dk isn't necessary, lol. They can nuke any proportional lvl. Lvl 3 Naga, Dk and Lich will nuke any lvl 3-4 hero. Lvl 2 will nuke lvl 1-2 other heroes.
@@Karifean Drink moonwell? It's super "situative" thing... Use invul potion? Okay, it can block coil only and only once. Lightning and nova are instant. Coil has less cd than invul.

great tournament and very competitive games. Unfortunately moon was never going to beat the champion coil nova, so getting second place really makes moon the winner in my eyes

The only way you can defeat Happy its outmicro him, like Kaho in a few series. Sadly Moon never has a insane macro like Infi or Lyn but he was strong with his strategys and macro.

Remove speed bonus from aura, make it -1,-2,-3 armor for nearby enemies.
Orb of corruption needs to gtfo.
Nova either splash slow or splash damage. Not both. It's a much better ranged thunderclap at the moment.
Remove replenish mana from statues.

the only other thing that has made me lose interest in Warcraft 3 the last three years other than the failure of Reforged, is Happy's dominance. it's just so boring watching him 3-0 and 3-1 every event he enters. it's nobody's fault, but it's just boring watching the same outcome every event and knowing that's what's going to happen before the tournament even starts.
