We are halfway through the ESL Pro Tour 2023/2024 season, with two more stops after Atlanta: one in Katowice, Poland, and another in Dallas, Texas, USA later next year. The entire year of competition will culminate in the coming summer at the yet-to-be-revealed EPT World Championship event.

clem has shown some hard work in consistently beating koreans. those who have watched him playing over the years would understand this point so well.
Koreans used to be his kryptonite, but he's grown as a player and can handle the weirdness way better than he used to. Also helps that Dark isn't in peak form right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if Clem gave each ghost and WM a name, and tried to make sure they all survived as long as possible. Clem's micro and multitasking in this tournament is on a level I've never seen.
He was so nervous in the interview, he really wanted an offline major W and he got it. Well deserved, i'm so happy for him!

Clem, not sure if you're reading these, but wow. I've been playing and watching SC and SC 2 for 25 years now. There were moments that come close to this (Elazer beating Dark, Neeb taking Kespa), but this is just even more epic, in my opinion. Just watch out for uThermal's cheese account =) Well done, man.

The way Clem micro’d those widow mines in game 3! Sheesh!
He might have beaten Serral and Dark, which is super impressive. But his real battle was looking the blonde reporter in the eye. You can see the struggle, the twitching, the nerves. And he actually managed to utter a few words while being next to her. What a champ.
I do not think it is the blonde; she is a bit older than him. It is that rush of emotions after achieving something you have dreamed about for a long time. People have cried for less.

We really need to give the players a minute before we interview them. In traditional sports the players always celebrate for a few minutes before we get a microphone in their face. Clem really needed a second before that interview I think.

No. Tweak Protoss only. Protoss already filled up majority of qualifier spots- if buffed, you’ll watch nothing but PvP and hurt viewership.
It may seems odd, but I think we should lower units cost and nerf their strength a bit. Everything has been tried, like nerf the other races a lot, buffs to toss. Why not make them a bit cheaper but less powerfull, so that toss army does not look like 3 stalker 10 zelots and 4 colossus in front of a huge swarm or masss marines ghost marauders mediv tanks. And nerf the army of noobs: carriers

I don’t know why. It just takes a few minerals to build spore but it has been more than 10 years less than 1 % of Z v T where spores been build to stop drops and liberators. Believe me. Invest in more defensive spores and you don’t have to worry so much about the base harassment from air.

Why did Dark continue to go ling, bane, ultra.. over and over? It wasn't working and he kept with the same builds.
Dark is incredibly tricky but also Sub-optimal , if his tricks don't do damage he falls massively behind.

I think even knowing the outcome it's a match that's worth watching. It was a lot closer than the result might suggest, every single game hard fought and hard won.
These were some nice games to watch. However, the commentators came barking every time a fight started, especially the female voice, brought more of a distraction other than anything else. Low class work unfortunately. My downvote for that.

Nerf ghost more, then what will happen to late game terran? You see how tricky infestor and vipers are, one fungal is enough to turn the tides
There's no terran army composition can win against late game zerg if you nerf ghost more, use mech and BC? Infestors will be happy more
Zerg nerfed too much, Zerg too soft now. It's really painful watching all of the zerg units die to 2 medivacs full of marines and some tanks

Terran has OP defense and all-zerg counter unit as ghost, the zerg players skill need to be above their opponents skill like higher APM and thinking faster, the other method for zerg is using risky strategy like countering them while got attacked!!

Gonna see it now...I watched serral vs Clem and all i can say is that this boy is brilliant and humble. For those that think the game is balanced go see the series i mentioned and watch how clem is trading 3 times better and could not win. The gap between resources spent and the ability to rebuild them is way too one sided in favor of the zerg. At some point clem had lost 12k resources and serral almost 30k and could not win.... BALANCE LUL
