The students participating in the protests are chanting the wrong slogan. They should be chanting "Free America from the occupation of AIPAC; they have bought politicians, newspapers, television channels, and even Hollywood. We are a nation under occupation." This video by Cyrus Janssen, "Israel is Destroying America (But Not How You Think)," has opened my eyes to see the truth.

It’s totally unacceptable that these animals don’t have to clean up their own crap! You break it you bought it - maybe if these brats had suffered consequences when they were growing up they’d have respect for other people’s property? Poor parenting

What is unacceptable is that we still have people supporting the inhuman butchery of human beings that is being committed in Gaza and people that are pretending to criminalize the actions of those that are protesting the support that this nation is giving Israel for it to continue the genocide of innocent human beings.

Nah. That’s not how that works. Especially if you’re conflating the tiny federal loan forgiveness thing- which for sure wouldn’t be anyone’s taxes. The school is a state school with private investors that make money off it.
The Reagan era and onward has seen a lot of privatization of what used to be mostly State funded schools. It’s proven to be a disaster as increased tuitions continue to rise and less academically sound decisions are made in many areas and ways.
The pure capitalist interests of private investors does however ensure these schools are extremely wealthy and while it may seem like a positive outcome of nobody’s taxes being used for such things like this, in the grand scheme of things society and communities- we the people- do not benefit from such economic system taking over higher education.
Hope that helps. And yes, many right wing pundits and politicians are outright lying about the idea of citizens paying for students free lunch so to speak. Thanks

    I think it's important to
talk about the cost of supplies for protests.
Those Cosco dome tents might seem
like a good deal at $100 each, but when
you have a lot of protestors, it can add up
to around $2,000 just for tents.
And don't forget about plywood, which can
range from $8 to $20 per piece. When you
start adding up the costs of food, water, tampons,
condoms, and other supplies, the expenses
can really start to pile up. Even something
as simple as garbage cans to turn into
makeshift shields can cost around $20 each.
It's a shame to see the damage that can happen
to public spaces during protests. I think it's
important to hold those responsible for the damage
accountable, whether it's the source of the money
funding the protests or the students involved. The
library that once was beautiful and versatile is now
in disarray, and it's a reminder of the importance
of stopping such protests immediately instead of
    sitting on one's hands.
