I like the clean lines against the bike on these. On my Crossfire 2 there are some edges that can catch on your pegs or airbox cover and really throw you off.

I tried to get manufacturer to repair or replace and they would not do it. Literally 12.5 months old. These boots (Atojo SRS) do look nice and seem very good. Thanks for the review on them.
I've been a SIDI fan boy for probably 20 years, but when I got the CrossFire III it gave my ankles blisters in first ride. Getting SIDI to recognize this and store to process a return was nutz hard, took a loss on return shipping, complete mess. Because of that, I have done restore/repair work on my existing CrossFire II boots (2 pairs), and when these die I'll probably switch to the SG12. On this new SIDI the lack of a top/calf strap/buckle is a deal killer for me. With knee braces, only Velcro on the calf just isn't enough.
I had an older pair of Crossfire SRS boots lasted forever extremely comfortable. Bought a new set of CF3's, build quality no where near as good as the old pair, already starting to come apart after 6 months of what i consider easy limited riding (once every other week). I've lost faith in the SIDI brand, these new ones look much cheaper but only $50 cheaper? I wouldn't pay more that $250 for this pair of SIDI's. Its really a shame, my older pair were the best boots I have ever owned.

Another top review Chase, where it’s made is something I’d add in your reviews, (note, not where designed) that’s important for me. The boot looks and sounds good, probably not for me, I have switched to the SG12 last year, won’t be changing back, to me this is a pure MX boot, no experience but I’d say like many top models a 1 season boot, but at-least you can replace the key parts on it, if I was tracking regularly it probably wouldn’t matter, prob still stay with the SG12s they do it all for me and I have massive calf’s and big wide feet and made in Italy still means something to me. But it is a nice looking boot, greatness only comes with time when something has proven itself, so for that I can’t judge or comment, like any relationship time will tell, top review though, best on YT, miss fantasy too.🤙

How is the toebox height compared to crossfire? Do you need you need to raise the shifter to upshift nicely? Considering atayo because the crossfire is too soft and i injure my ancles too often.
I’m looking for a boot the specifically provides the most protection in hyper flexion. Destroyed my ankles in my sg12s because there’s only hyper extension protection. Would you recommend these or the tech 10s for the most support when it comes to hyperflexion(dorsiflexion)?
I sure wish they would make a more breathable boot. I live and ride in the desert and my feet burn up and swim in sweat every ride. Sure they'd get wet in stream crossings but then again they'd be able to dry out. Those two tiny vents at 12:23 won't do jack squat.
Maybe look at a boot more specific to desert riding, most top model boots like this are focused designed for MX. There are other boots in the range that expand the spectrum, yes there’s a compromise when ya do, this boot is aimed at MX and crossover to SX, like anything you can do what you want, but the right tool for the job eh.
Look into the new Alpinestars tech 10’s, they have huge vents in the front of the toe box, which makes it a lot more breathable, the down fall of alpine stars is they don’t last as long as say a Sg12, maybe the old Alpinestars do, but not the 2018+ tech tens, honestly if you’re ripping, no matter what boot you wear your feet are gonna sweat, if it’s hot enough.
Rocky Mountain ATV MC I broke my Tibia in a pair of Forma Terra Evos last year due to the bike impacting the rear of my calf and I’m wanting to upgrade my boots. I’m looking to do a long off-road tour but none of the super protective boots seem to be waterproof (Tech 7 drystar have no rear impact protection). Although the tech 10 super vented are designed to keep the feet cool would they be good for water draining for riding in rain/water crossings with a pair of Seal Skinz socks? I like the look of these also. I also ride in the Deserts of the UAE and sweaty feet is a problem 😅
It's still narrow on these as well. That is the one thing I wish they would've changed. Those Euro guys must have narrow feet! The Tech 7 is wider. - Chase

Both are really good. I think the instinct is a little more comfortable (most times) and the peg feel is second to none. The Atajo is still pretty narrow for me but they're a really good boot. Not too stiff and the bike feel is pretty good. For durability, I'd give the nod to the Atajo. But I don't have a ton of hours on mine yet so I can't give a perfect answer on that. - Chase
Look up dirt bike channel's review on all things fox. I'll give you the short version.........fox has lost its way and the current stuff is chinese made crap that doesn't last.
Wrong. They're using the same material as the crossfire 3, they just didn't include some of plastic pieces from the Crossfire 3. Quality is just as good as any other Sidi boot. - Chase
They're decent. I have a 16 calf and I wear the Asterisk carbon cell braces which are very slim and you can see how they fit when I'm on the bike. - Chase

Stick with something like amazon prime, they give free returns, no questions, and the return process is way more convenient. Never had any problems with CycleGear.com either.
The fit guarantee applies when a rider wants to exchange them for another size or boot. But not if the rider wants to return them without any exchange. We do also offer discounted shipping rates for returns if that is the case.

The Aojo is made from water resistant materials but it is not a waterproof boot.
