Luv watching your pub crawls in London. Try to avoid London Pride and Doombar and Weatherspoons but each to their own. Interesting to see the collection of pubs you visit and have been to many myself. Keep the good work🍻👍

Thank you for following along. Sometimes it’s hard to find good ales. Pride and Doom’ are reliable but mainstream. spoons beer is cheaper so I like that. Cheers. Warren 🤠

Oh yes, Camden is a wondeful spot for a few cold ones by the canal. Saying that, it's one location I've never really explored but I must at some point before moving again. I do plan to do a haunted pub tour or Central London telling a ghost story in each. Ghost stories aren't to everyone's taste but secretly, everyone loves a ghost story especially in the winter. You'd be most welcome to come along and join in whilst enjoying a few light ales.

Oh yes we like a ghostly story! Yes it would be great to join up sometime for a tour and some ales. Drop me an email on my channel and maybe we can fix a date. Cheers, Warren :)

I used to play regularly at the Canaervan castle in Camden (can’t spell it) when I was playing music. I believe it burned down a few years ago.
I always liked that area of town.

Wow! Must have been very special playing in Camden. It's a great place to visit, especially in a summer's evening. Cheers, Warren :)

Personally, I preferred Camden when it was “grimy.” Thanks and cheers!

What a wonderful pub! Lots of different spaces inside. Have you been back since the 90's? I wonder what has changed. Cheers, Warren :)

Thanks for a view of some new pubs to visit in Camden - one of my fav places to imbibe in 😊Rather disappointed you didn’t pop into Hawley Arms which is a classic must do pub in Camden bummer, . And possibly drank some Camden Hells or Camden Pale Ale…and yet you went by Wetherspoons 😂
    Cheers 🍻

Hey the Hawley Arms is right in the patch we toured around - odd we didn't call in. We will be back to the Camden area for sure and I will add that to the list. I agree that the Wetherspoons was an odd choice but the beer is cheap there ;)
Thanks for catching this video and commenting. If you can suggest any other locations and pubs do please let me know. We have a date and location sorted for this autumn but always planning ahead. Cheers, Warren :)

Neal is my kind of tour guide.... Going to some of your top pubs has gotten me very thirsty. I love tasting new local beers whenever I travel, so if I ever make it to Camden area, I'll most certainly visit some of your top picks. So what with the tables in the bubbles at 10:10? When you want eat outside when its bad weather? Good idea if so.. Thanks for letting us tag along. So final count was -7?? haha. Well done Warren. Cheers! 🍻

We have a laugh along the way and make up our tour as we go. Neil usually has a list but it's just for ideas. The bubbles appeared when lockdown was being lifted to let folk be outside yet stay warm and dry in poor weather. Cheers :) Warren

Nice one....my sort of day out...im thinking maybe i could do a similar video around our town...I am guessing the prices were eye watering..

It was a nice day out actually. Great meeting up with my mate as we don’t do that so often these days. And Camden is an interesting place to tour around, lots to look around not just streets. Prices were usual pub prices in London but yes, quite high. The bottle in the Worlds End was over £6 but the pint in the Weatherspoons Ice Wharf was half that! 🤠

Once a beer moves up in to the big commercial concept it often suffers in quality as they produce so much. Thank you for joining us on the tour. Cheers, Warren :)

Doom Bar is a strange choice of beer. It has little aroma or taste and is at most a bog standard best bitter.

    • @Linleys
      @Linleys  6 месяцев назад

It's a basic but reliable pint but, I agree, not high on the list. There isn't always much choice though, so a pint of Doom may be the one we pick by default. What's your number one choice? Cheers, Warren :)
