I like the window division, it gives the illusion of separation without losing the connection between people. Dark is a good touch of modernism when white gets us all tired. Well done
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽ladies, you did a magnificent job with this home. I love the blue color palette throughout the home with the pops of color. The robin’s egg paint color on the kitchen cabinets is divine. I really love the architectural element of the room divider between the kitchen and family room...unique and whimsical. Great job again ladies!
You have created something DIVINE. I love this house and everything you showed in your video is enticing and delightful. I would love to find a team like you both to work with! Fantastic video!
STUNNING living room!! Totally jaw-dropping! I am a sucker for molding and so this was SUPER dreamy to me💟💟 Is it me, or did the dining room table seem a little crowded though? There were so many chairs that I'm wondering if guests would feel cramped😳 Oh--and the tufted ottoman is MASSIVE! I ❤️it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really nice ideas, especially that Knee Wall and that window . I didn't really care for the Chevron floor because I think a different pattern would stand the test of time .... more classic, to tie into the wainscoting.
I love this comment! I appreciate when people acknowledge that something isn’t to their taste but recognize that it can still be aesthetically pleasing. Also, it’s someone’s home, so derogatory comments on something personal to a home owner feel vindictive.
@@LeticiaAGentil - A rug warms the space, makes it more polished. It’s an opportunity for another color or texture. A gorgeous room like this one without a rug looks unfinished. But this is just my taste.
It's actually the exact same formula as everything else: white + dark + brass + marble + wood. It just happens that this one has less white and more dark (blue).
My bugbear again - TV over the fireplace. Not practical (TV placed too high for comfortable viewing) nor aesthetically pleasing. Would have been better if they could somehow move the fireplace nearer to the separate sitting area and make it a cozy nook.
Sometimes that's what makes the most sense. Depending how close the seating is to the TV or how high the fireplace is, you may not need to crane your neck to look up.
Not necessarily Apart from the front reception everything else is quite neutral esp fixtures and fittings. Its easy to swap out a few things here and there. Plus this sort of look is quite timeless with the molding and architrave so would continue to be popular i would think
Lovely, except for the instruments being stored out in the open like that! That's not good for the instruments. I realize that they are beautiful, but they should be respected so that they are not damaged and can be played again.
Yes, why not? If there is enough room and you can afford it, it is a very good idea to have one for the kids, who everyone knows can muck things up, and another for guests.
Really unsensational use of grey and blue, totally minimized any sense of character. The designers should practice not speaking with a question mark at the end of their statements.
What's wrong with that? That's why you hire a designer- yo suggest ideas that would work better for your family dynamic (as they said they loved to entertain) Most people can't envisage anything past a traditional layout or aesthetic. If the client had all the answers they wouldn't need a professional Also the clients are happy with it after - i know sometimes people can bulldoze the client but i don't think it applies to this situation
@@sayaa1600 I guess I hire a designer more for the aesthetic and selection of materials. It's true, making a space work for our needs is also important. I think it was just the wording that rubbed me wrong, but the owner paid for it so they obviously agreed to it. At the same time, I do think open concept is the norm now, so while I think their choice was made based on the client, there are are many designers that just come in and knock down walls.
@@Junebug8283 i totally agree @ designers pushing the trends. As with everything there has to be a balance - i agree with you. I love open concept but I hate the cookie cutter way its done these days and pushed. Doesn't suit everyone I did read a comment so where else which said there's a difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator. The former looks at how the whole space functions as well as aesthetic whilst the latter is only concerned with decor. Makes sense i guess. I see interior design as the bridge between architecture and decor- either way i love it 😊
The range is fantastic but, the bathroom looks like a dungeon. The glass divider doesn’t go there. (Navy/grey isn’t colourful) Everything else looks great but, it could be better. 👍
The Combination of Dark Blue Hues + Gold Accents + White Paint looks really Luxurious. Indeed its an Aspiring Design for dreamers.

Fabulous dining room! Just enough bold mixed with traditional elements.
the Sitting Room is so on point! Beautifully done!
Love that the chairs you used at the kitchen island much better than bar stools. Beautiful space!
So fun and so unique. Blue is also my fave color and i love the way u incorporated it in the design throughout the house.
Beautiful design. Love the bold use of color! And that glass between the kitchen and living room!
Hell of a range for that size kitchen.
Beautiful! Dramatic and posh but still elements of comfort. Love!
The semi-open space of the kitchen & dinette& family room is well done!
Really nice ideas, especially that Knee Wall and that window .
I didn't really care for the Chevron floor because I think a different pattern would stand the test of time .... more classic, to tie into the wainscoting.
That front room is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I'd love to see one of these home tours at night, and please talk aboot the lighting!
Lovely idea!
Brilliantly designed given the limitations of space 👍
Love the dining room walls!!!
Rich people home. Absolutely beautiful
Love the navy
Gorgeous! The dark is glamorous.
This looks gorgeous, ladies!!
Love the blue in the foyer and the living room. Wasn’t too jarring and gave a peaceful feeling.
I like the floor entrance tiles
Yes Herringbone Tiles 👍 North American Style Still Timeless For Ever...
Beautiful and Bold
Soooo cool, interesting, elegant and not boring! Bravo!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Needless to say, my favorite is the kitchen, it's exquisite.......... Abrazos
The sitting room & kitchen is so nice!
omg.. This home will be in vogue for many years.. Contemp and traditional always marries well..
I want my dining room like that!
Love the combo chique and pop 😍
This home is beautiful! So beautiful!!
You ladies knocked this out of the park!
Everything is so perfect 👌🏿
Love from South Africa!

Absolutely not my taste but I can definitely see that it looks esthetic and hopefully meets the client's wishes.
Good job!

love this!! the bold colors and the sculptural light fixtures are gorgeous! such a fun space!
Wow wow wow!!!
Love the dark blue wall color.
It’s a gorgeous home. For me, I like rugs under dining tables but I am not living there. Otherwise, perfection.
I feel ya!
Why do you like rugs under dining tables?

Bravo!
Amazing n reality dramatic look😍👌🏼👌🏼
AMAZING!!!!!!! The music room is BEAUTIFUL!

Beautiful. Bravo
Love the wallpaper 💖
ug with the purple pillows!
BEAUTIFUL!
This is basically what I aspire my future house to look like. Too bad they didn't show the bedrooms though; I really wish they did.
AMAZING!!!

love the breakfast nook..
This is effing amazing
Poor David Bowie if only he knew his picture ends up in the toilet! Fabulous home anyway :))
I guess that is OK. David liked toilets.
Love!
Replacing commata with question marks? Much?
Hermosos colores!! Muy buen gusto!!
where can I see the whole house ? I really love the design

The darker the gold, the faker it looks. People don't know what 'real' gold actually looks like.
Some of it is brass.
Dining room? Rather looks like a conference room to me.
The walls are black, not blue!
Designers always put tv on top of the fireplace! Don’t know why..
Cause it looks beautiful....but neck pain is a present from designers 😂

All those large ant intricate mouldings ...what a dust collectors.
Can you put the english subtitle in your videos?
This house is gorgeous, but has a very specific taste. Don’t You think this will be hard to sell?
You are right.. But for the moment it's their dream house and they should not consider what a future buyer might would want/prefer
Not necessarily

If they paint the walls in lighter colours, it will look like most of the houses shown here

So pretty and cool and then comes the bland and oh so original all white kitchen. Ugh.

Beautiful. The designer looks a little like Amy Schumer.
Too dark
Im here on Time bit*h
That totally looks BLACK not blue

Do people still watch television?
Bathroom too dark

The only room I didn’t like is the dining room.
Entirely too much of the color blue !
yeah that range buys an audi..

I liked the kitchen/banquet and the overall concept of bold accents... but the rest of the rooms just have tooooo much going on. Tone it down.
Not a big fan of this at all. The blues seem off and the overall look seems dated.
Rania, Rania, Rania... What a pretty name for an even prettier lady. Mmmmm mmmmm!
Raniya is also a Muslim name and it means Queen
