This is fabulous. The three cabinets is genius to hide all that mess and they look so stylish. This is the colour I've just painted my study, and it's so peaceful, everyone comes in. Now I need a swivel chair.

One of my favorite videos of yours! I loved that you walked us through the prep and decision dilemmas. As someone who loves to redecorate, I find myself questioning everything & every step- when designers always seem to "just know" and "get it right". The way you shared your thinking and planning was so very helpful. I LOVE the finished project- thinking a rec room should be allowed to have its own color and coziness away from the neutrals of other spaces.

Every bit of this room I love buy my standout items, the window treatments, styling of the bookshelves and the sofa with various accent pillows not to mention the paint color. The color is absolutely fantastic in your room! The decorations on your built ins are so nice! That is the sort of thing I did with my shelves. I never lay my boos down but it looks awesome. I am a thrifter too and look hard you find some phenomenal pieces. Vases and artificial flowers and small art pieces finish it off! Love it. Thanks for sharing!

This was a great transformation! My favorite part was the closet turned into a functioning work area with storage. I also enjoyed watching how you created the raised wall panels. I think tv dens should be cozy and have deeper wall colors. Great job, and looking forward to more videos! 😊

What I like most about the room is everything, it's gorgeous. Thank you for the tip on the books and I have been wanting to get decorative pillows for my couch, also sectional but I was too afraid to use different patterns but you have proven me that if you use the right ones, it will look great.

I love love love the paint color. I just painted my guest bath on the main floor, my butlers pantry and my fireplace wall Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze and I’m loving the dark moody feel it creates. I was never brave enough to do dark colors but now I’m glad I did. Yours looks amazing

Beautiful. Love that you still had to "plan" things by seeing them - the position of the picture moulding, the 3 options for art and 2 options for the rug. I always feel so much pressure to just "imagine it" and get it right the first time as I design my own home, so it's nice to know there's a little trial and error involved.
Probably the only thing I would have done differently is upholster the swivel chair in a bold fabric (with strong black lines maybe). It does look a little matchy with the sofa.
