- Here is a demo of the Neurocyton pre amp built on a pcb from pedalpcb.com. I am playing my Gibson SG and Fender Stratocaster into the Pre Amp pedal and into a Trinity Amps 18 Watt 2x12 with Celestion Speakers in a Mojotone Cabinet.
i built mine and it sounds really cool, but mine has kind of a "phlegm" character to it. like when you are talking and need to clear your throat. does yours feel like that too? works cool for single notes, but not great for chords. i think it would sound killer on bass
What did you bias your jfets to? Try lowering q1 and playing around with them all. This pedal went out the door but I loved it so much I am working on another right now.
Killer on bass! It adds a nice weight and clarity to your signal
@@dkpedals at first i biased them all to 5.5 and it was super phlegmy. then i dialed back to 4.5... ill try going lower and see what happens!
Have you built the Duocast (Broadcast clone)? And if so how do these 2 compare?
I have built them both and they both have there individual thing. I will compare them when I do the doucast video

It really is a great sounding machine, especially when hitting the front end of the amp!
