Finally got this bike. Got 135 km/h on 5th gear at 10k rpm. I'm weighing 48kgs so yeah, a great bike for a beginner like me.

This bike honestly never fails to amaze me......that exhaust note is like angels singing (I’m not gonna say anything else tho since I haven’t even ridden one before)
this is the first actual gas powered motorcycle ive ever rode in colombia my uncle had this exact same one and i love motorcycles thank god he gave me some lessons this bad boy packs some power

I’m OBSESSED with Suzuki super bikes, I’m 17 and my dad has a Suzuki GSXR1000 and I always love going on it with him I’m going to learn how to ride a motorbike soon but can only ride a 125 for 2 years and then I can ride a 500 for another 2 years here in the uk

In the states you can get an unlimited license at 18 and get an R1 as long as you could afford it.

You better. Awesome bike! Droven a hyosung gtr, yamaha ybr, derbi gpr 2 stroke and all in all the suzuki is the best experience for me. Both startinf in any weather, brakes, speed, position etc

these kind of bikes seem to be soo much fun, small engine, you can rev it high and still be in reasonable speed... you know in bigger bikes even on 1st geat you will go up to 100km/h which is ridiculous, you wont be able to rev bigger bike in city because of the speed, but this... you will have fun with it everywhere ;P maybe not on highway..

Thanks for doing a review on this. I am in the US, and wanted to know if this bike was worth the trouble of bringing it from Mexico. How would you compare it to a 250? I know the power-to-weight ratio is slightly lower (like .01hp/lb) but how does it feel?

I am in Bangladesh and have this bike, sad to say that this won't be coming to India anytime soon due to the BS system and Suzuki doesn't assemble their GSXR series in India.

Gotta love these small bikes. On my '01 ninja 250, i can bang it through 4 gears keeping it pinned and still be 30 mph over the speed limit. People like to talk shit on smaller displacement bikes for being too slow, but when you really think about it they're still not that bad. My old 250 that I snagged for $950 can do 0-60 mph in 6 seconds, that's at least approaching sports car standards. Newer low displacement bikes are even faster, like the r3 can almost reach sub 5 second times and the ninja 400 definitely can. Plus insane fuel economy, much lower insurance rates and a pretty darn comfortable seating position. Thr definition of practicality.

That's the slippery clutch that's making gear change feels more smooth, thus your engine brake.
the GSX R150 doesnt have that feature
you're not arguing semantics aren't you?
all engine brakes related to the compression process inside the engine. If somehow it felt smoother, then it probably has something to do with the clutch (if not the engine revving down slowly - that would be an unresponsive engine which as you can see is not the case when he revs up and down during the initial video).
thus what I said. and no, I didn't care what suzuki brand them as. As far as I can see they can call it slippery clutch, active revs, smooth engine break and whatnot.
Suzuki using SAPECS technology (SUZUKI Advanced Power Engagement Clutch System)= slippery clutch.

sebenarnya ramai yang demand 150 cc full fairing masuk Malaysia tapi honda dan yamaha takut jualan kapcai jatuh.
cuba bayangkan motor ni, cbr150 dan yzf15 masuk. ramai yang akan beli sebab roadtax moto 151cc keatas mahal iaitu 20 ringgit tapi moto 150cc kebawah 2 ringgit, ramai yg bawak motor atas 250 hanya bawak untuk Ride hujung minggu atau konvoi sebab maintainance mahal.

nope..in Malaysia we dont have R15 nor CBR150, because Honda and Yamaha Malaysia so fucking noob in managing this type of bike and like i said most malaysian more prefer moped type bike so that they can have put "box" for their motorcycle.

I am a owner of Suzuki Gixxer 150cc in Bangladesh, I am really impressed about the new GSXR 150cc and I will buy it when it will be launched in BD.

i've got 1 question. Situation : there were 2 people, A who stand beside the bike with key, and B who on the bike without key, if B start the bike and went away without key, do engine will off itself while away from key or not until switch off the bike?

Sarip Derr you still able to ride the bike until you hit that switch off button. So yea if you ride this bike and someone try to take the bike, make sure hit that switch and just running 😂

Wozymandias having more rpm doesnt always mean more power. at 11000 it peaks. that 2000bonus rpm are useful in turns so you dont have to shift up

the new cbr has a new facelift, added a computer box, new showa rear mono shock, fuel injection now so I don't know what the hell you talking about lol! all bikes seems nice but the most advanced at 150cc is the YZF R-150 V3

All im saying is 125cc bikes get really boring, really fast. And I mean my 750 got boring after half a year... I can't imagine how fast a 125 would get boring... 2 weeks?
