You’re review was “right on the money” for me. It was nice to see a review that wasn’t made 10 mins after buying it!! Now, pros and cons....cons first!! It’s big......way bigger than you could imagine, and heavy!! Pros....it paid for itself within 2mths!! I cook at home and vacuum seal my meals flat, and that enables me to take 42 days of meals...do the math 72 days x $20 at a restaurant x 2 = $1,440.....inc shipping it cost me $1,399..... This beast, although large and bulky, is quite possibly the best investment I’ve ever made. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to any of you drivers who are thinking of buying one.....GO FOR IT, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed in your purchase. If it had a star ⭐️ rating I’d give 11/10 its THAT good!! Everyone please keep safe, especially in this current pandemic, and thank you to all my fellow brothers and sisters for doing what we do best.....keeping everyone clothed, fed and warm. I just bought one of these for my Kenworth T680, I got the older CFX-95DXUS was told the only difference between that and the new CFX-DZW was the W stood for WiFi, got the fridge today and it also has a WiFi app that you can control all of it on your phone and get alerts if the temp rises above what you set it at. so far I love it!
Cool fridge there!! I got the mini fridge with the tiny freezer on top for frozen veggies at Walmart for $59.00 works great 😁 I just wish the freezer was bigger to put more frozen veggies in there like my Broccoli, Spinach, and frozen Lama Beens!!!
The Low Medium High is only for battery voltage cutoff, it is there to protect your battery when you turn off vehicle. Low would run your battery down a lot more before cutting off, ok with diesel dual batteries, high or med for passenger cars single battery.
Your trucker videos are the best hands down, I wish you install my power inventor I saw your video you did such a great job I’d pay obviously but you wouldn’t have time just wishing out laud, as far this fridge I know it’s expensive but it worth every penny you made it clear for me I’ve been thinking buying it for a while now, thank you for the great videos, you the best!

The Dometic CFX 95 is currently unavailable on Amazon and they don't know when it will be coming back. I have one of these and it is a pretty good refrigerator. It is very large. for a chest referigerator. One good thing I can say about it is that it is dual zone.
Correct me if im wrong guys but upon further research the model in this view is cfx 95 however when i press the link in the description it takes me to cfx 28...a completely different model. When i searched google this cfx 95 model is running at no joke $1,500 😳
Those are nice but too big for me. I still have my Colman 40qt chiller I got over 20 years ago. The motor failed so I used a computer fan and a 8000rpm motor for the inside fan and it will make ice crystal's form in milk it gets so cold now. I also got a 31qt iceco fridge/freezer I use for my frozen foods that tucks nicely in that open spot in the cascadia. My Colman sits next to me while I drive so I just reach in for a cold drink or whatever snacks are in there.
Dometic has good service for their regular fridge models but they suck for the portables. I’m looking at Truckfridge because the compressor is superior and their service (I think) is out of Arizona.

I'm in a Cascadia ATM and am thinking of getting this one or the 65 litre dz one, I'm solo, was thinking on the passenger seat but I think it's too long. I'm also contemplating the end of my bunk and am wondering if the lid will be able to open. What's the dimensions on the lid? I'll probably use the big one for freezing cause I like to shop at Costco for my frozen fruit and veggies for cooking and smoothies (I have a Vitamix blender)

Yeah, but it's good shit! I bought a CFX65DZ, received it Friday. It takes no electricity to speak of. Very efficient. Say you buy a $100 cooler. Say you buy 2 bags of ice per week, $6 x 52 weeks in the year, $312. At the end of year one, you have already spent $412!!! At the end of year two, $724. At the end of year three, $1036. By this point, you will wish you had invested in a Dometic.
@@Battlered713 Poor is a state of mind. I don't know your circumstances, but perhaps you could cut back on unnecessary expenses and live out of your car. As of August 1, I will be living out of my car, by choice. Just doing that saves me paying rent. Keep your bills at a minimum. It will make my total monthly expenses only $700, and that includes EVERYTHING! Put excess money away in savings. I work full-time at $15/hr, and will have $1400/month to save. Even making $9/hr I can save because I will have no rent! Rent or mortgage eat up your money. Simplify, and beat the system!!

I have a truck fridge too. 4.25 cubic foot, and a 1.75 drawer that I set to freeze. Paid $1000 for both. I have had them for 4 years and they are still running great, right off the battery. Need to p/u the a/c adapters for when I park and not running the truck for shore power. Best investment I ever made. Took out the cabinet behind my driver seat, and both sit comfy.

The low med high is for the low voltage cut off. So it doesnt kill your battery.
For example only, low could be 11.1
Med 11.6 high 12.1volt

Low, Med or High function is the unit cutoff as the battery drains check manual, but Low~~10.5VDC / High~~12.1VDC. Good review!!! Thanx.
