I gave up buying packs early or fresh at all bc of this. I barely buy fresh orders & buy once the market calms down. That's our best bet. And don't buy at the price hikes seen in the early days of any set. The prices go down as time goes on. If you don't buy immediately, there's also the side effect of Pokemon Company lowering the prices. Also Pokémon company needs to ensure stores, from locally owned small to chain franchise large, enforce a purchase limitation like they did with B&N back in 2021-2023 so as to minimize secondhand sales hike marketing schemes.

Yea I've checked out of Pokémon the past 2 years and have shifted my focus to collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! Quarter Century Secret Rares. Pokémon MODERN has become too expensive because anything modern that's not MSRP is too expensive. We shouldn't have to pay above MSRP for something that just released or that hasn't even released yet.

Most of our corrections are based on DA’s investing based on fomo. Bringing prices down to somewhat of a mean market but only soon to set a new high.
