Why the suggest to cut dairy for loose weight?
@@JoJo-uv7gf hmm not sure why she personally cut out dairy. Im just summarising the video. some studies link how hormones in dairy can affect your body negatively, but i guess with the exception of being lactose intolerant, consuming it in recommended guidelines, its ok to consume. maybe it was more of a health decision rather than weightloss
@@anindapaul8823 I def do not follow this!!! Just interesting to look and learn at other ppls health habits. I always feed my body. starving/ undereating is so detrimental, your body deserves to have fuel not punishment. there's repercussions to undereating- including overeating following day. eg. we can take stephanie buttermore as an example who ended up sharing how she ate ~5000/cal per day after almost starving body bc of under-eating. ppl i love who encourage healthy balanced eating n positive relationships with food include Abbey Sharp, and Natacha Oceane.

I haven’t watched Tessa in like a year and she seems a hundred times more confident. She is speaking better before her lisp would control her speech if that makes sense. There seems to be a light around her like she’s glowing and it made me smile for real

Oh my, sis is GLOWING. She truly looks happier, healthier, prettier. Leaving team 10 was a good decision for her.

Fr, my mom be like “you should eat healthier” and then when I quit gluten or dairy she’ll be like “you have to eat, diet it’s not good, just eat balanced” 😕
I go through smth similar, I only eat healthy or workout when they aren’t around.

Ah, but I am hella unattractive in my opinion and I still believe all bodies are beautiful. On top of that, confidence will look good on you no matter your body type. For example: Ive seen plus sized girls in crop tops and skirts and they rocked it SO WELL because they KNEW they looked good. Like, yes ma'am.

If you are planning to work out, word of advice: it is not healthy to workout every day, back-to-back because your body needs time to rest and recuperate. I suggest you have light days and heavy days work out wise so you can really notice the effects of workout. Good luck!!

For breakfast: Smoothie with greens
for lunch: something light
for dinner: something light
As a professional nurse and someone who had a turbulent relationship with food due to dieting in my late teens/early 20s I feel the need to point out to all the young girls watching that you don't need to "be good" by always choosing to eat something "light". You also dont need to cut out any food groups unless you have a DIAGNOSED food intolerance. Your body NEEDS a variety of food (and plenty of it) to thrive and to settle at a healthy weight. If you limit yourself to an arbitrary number of calories each day rather than listening to your hunger and fullness cues, your body will fight you every step of the way. You may achieve short term weight loss this way (most people do) but it will not be sustainable long term. Your metabolism is not programmed to understand dieting for weight loss. It is designed to keep you alive, and will resist long term weight loss if it thinks you're starving.
Besides, you can maintain a healthy physique and still meet your hunger needs (really!). And having a good relationship with food/health/your body is so much more wonderful than quick weight loss. Again I am not assuming anything about her, (She seems lovely, positive, and well-intentioned). However, I feel the need to clarify the dialogue here so no one misunderstands. I want to save you the trouble of learning the hard way like I did. Please don't make the mistake of crash dieting by limiting yourself to salads and green smoothies under the pretense of "clean eating" when we know damn well that that type of eating is the furthest thing from balance.
Ps. Please get corn rice, and cheese on your burrito bowl if you want it. It tastes better that way.
First of all corn rice makes you gain more weight and you need to be specific by which cheese they choose cause not all cheese makes you loose weight
slimestyle ^ what’s shes trying to say is that eating junk food is okay, especially cheese. As long as it’s not your only diet. Eating cheese and ranch is fine as long as you include healthy things into your diet also. It’s the way your metabolism works. Dieting causes binging and can therefore have a negative impact long term. Cravings are hard to fight. Eat that donut, eat that ranch whenever you want just as long as it’s not the only thing you eat. If you want to eat that donut, maybe have a healthy meal after. It’s all about moderation. The mentality that Tessa has with dieting isn’t the best, I love her, don’t get me wrong, but this is not the best diet for young girls to look up to. Eating corn rice is OKAY as long as it’s not the only thing you eat. As someone who has a sister thats studying nutrition and dietetics at University, who has also been through the weight loss journey & has tried everything, this is what has worked best for her.
The best part about it? It works long term!
The best dietitian is a non-diet dietitian.

@@slimestyle3137 🤦🤦 Corn, cheese and chips do not 'make you gain weight'; that is a hugely broad and incorrect statement. Eating too many calories for your body's needs makes you gain weight. If you eat those things but still maintain a balance with the calories in vs out over a consistent period of time you will be fine. Sorry but you can't deny science. The nutritional content can be argued sure, but not the energy equation.

please do a more in-depth workout video!!! ❤️ i had the same struggles as you did.. i’ve been very fit my entire life, and then in my 8th grade year, i stress ate, gained 20 pounds and i just wasn’t happy with myself going into freshman year... i pushed myself to workout and eat healthier and try cutting dairy out and now i’m at 105 pounds again and i couldn’t be happier

That’s crazy, wow I love thattt so much. And your so right with like not starving yourself and just eating the right things. Like I struggled with anorexia habits and than I struggled with binging, so I feel bad purposely eating a “healthy” amount of food on purpose. But I trust in what you say and I don’t really like too much dairy anyway so I’ll definitely like decrease that and try to switch to nut based “dairy” like almond milk, oooooo so fun I’ll be so trendy. And switching from full day chips to health based chips sounds better and I’m sure they’ll taste amazing as well tbh.
And with the workout I found it so hard, like I would do a bit of stuff with weights but it bulked me up and I’m only trying to tone. So now I just go on walks for like an hour but I like what you mentioned, like stuff like jumping jacks and high knees is super fun and kinda difficult 🤩🤪
But definitely, having a healthy mindset is really what matters. Like you can’t improve physically unless you are ok mentally. And like how many calories would you recommend daily? Like I feel bad for eating more than 1400 calories on purpose daily, but it’s a hard habit to stop counting. Do you count your calories? Or like do u have a rough estimate or do u just eat when ur hungry and you don’t do that stuff x

Belle Phillips aww you’re so welcome!!💕 tbh when it comes to calories, you want to make sure the food you’re eating contains good fats/nutrients... that way, after you finish eating it, you’ll later end up burning off those calories that you just ate, but also getting all the healthy benefits of that food for your body. yayy! so happy i can help someone!! can’t wait to hear from you!!

SAME BRO, I lost like 1-2 kilos, and my mum was like “you lost so much weight, you look so skinny, your face is sinking in” like bish wut, I even asked my dad and he agrees with me, can’t see much of a difference, a little slimmer but not that intense skinny like my mum was describing😒 it does put me off when she overreacts like that, ngl. I’m at a healthy weight btw but close to being overweight.

@@dakotatoney4834 update: im on my depressed phase lol so now i gained like 7 pounds, but at my highest point I would try to be "productive" and try to feel like I was on a movie, that way I would eat less (like crazy less, 1100 calories a day or less)and exercise more. But as now, I tell you that I´m happier now than what I was back then, I eat one "cheat meal" a day and the only exercise i do are my ballet classes (ofc I would love to do more but as if right now, im doing things slowly). Just dont be harsh on yourself!
