😎I think he lives in Spain. Having watched 10-20 of your reactions, getting exposed a little to some of your tastes, humor, creativity, seeing a couple videos of you showing the kind of projects you do at home, etc. I felt you would get a kick out of him. Whether or not my suggestion you react to him was what led you to react, I was delighted to see you had, and then 10x more so that you got something out of it.
🎼You wondered about him saying he knows nothing about music. That's because he is entirely self-taught based on banging things against things for hours a day since he was 12, and is in awe of great drummers who know music theory, as is evident due to the videos he does analyzing them, even though some of them are in awe of him (quite rightly; the "you ain't seen nothing yet" comment very much applies), and imo he is the very definition of humble (though he knows what he knows) as you'll figure out if you check out enough of his stuff.
⏰You asked how he could learn it in 24 hours. To be clear I think he would know the rhythmic aspects of Thunderstruck by heart. Based on things he's said, and shorts I've listened to or seen listed, I'd guess he knows several hundred of the most rhythmically interesting songs of the last 50 years by heart. I think the main thing he would have learned for this video was "just" how to play this new instrument, and how to have fun playing Thunderstruck on it. And based on what he's said about how he approaches things, I bet he spent something like 6 hours playing with possibilities, and practicing, before the video.
⚡Hmm. A thought. Hang on... Oh, to my surprise, I only found one AC/DC video on his channel, and it was just a short of him deliberately messing with Highway to Hell a month ago. I guess his focus on his channel until recently has been covering songs from the last decade or so, but he's mentioned being able to lighten up and do songs he loves but which weren't previously compatible with his goal of growing his channel. (He zoomed past the 1M subscribers mark 7 months ago, then 2M four months ago, then 3M a couple weeks ago. So he has now quite reasonably decided he can now do whatever he likes. Hence the tubulum -- videos of which have already garnered millions of views in the last week on YT, and many more I think on his other socials.)
🥁You mentioned his handpan stuff. He was the same with that as he was with this "tubulum". More specifically, the first video he uploaded (a year ago?) of him playing one was sublime, but he'd never played a handpan until a day or so before the video iirc. (I recall the song choice being a bit weird -- a Kate Bush song, I forget which -- but I still recall how perfectly he played it, how exquisite it sounded.)
Peace and love from the UK. 🕊💖

Yeah he only practiced this for a day but he is also the best drummer on youtube imo so that's probably why :P
He has a lot of great covers to check out depending on your taste in music. system of a down, the weekend, eminem and other stuff like the bongo song and his one-handed videos.

He is Spanish and his name Jorge. His aka translates into Siberian Steppe. I don’t know why he goes by that name.
