I think the logical route would be to give it a stun enchantment. So when you land a critical hit with it, it it would stun that mob as well as mobs within a 3 block radius. It would make it more effective in the trial chambers as well as the nether where it's easier to get over ran
A stun for all mobs that get knocked back would be pretty neat. Solid idea.
@@Prowl8413 swing one side then the opposite and then the finisher downwards slam, the finisher will one hit mobs (not bosses) but if you miss it has a slow recovery. The side attacks will hit multiple mobs dealing damage and knockback.
Prowl I just want to say Thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put in. To expqnd on the Hammer/Mace I think something like an open wounds/crushing blow would be nice. The mechanic for damage over time is already in effect for things like poison and fire aspect/flame. So I think some tick damage would be a nice addon or even adding another elemental such as lightning and strikes mutiple targets in a chain lightning attack could be fun. Just some thoughts. Keep up the great work!
I guess it can be useful in the trial chamber itself, since there is an enemy breeze that can make you fly for free, but it still seems tricky, and I still would rather use an enchanted sword.
If we could use the wind charge in the off hand, the weapon would be more useful, since the knockback AoE would prevent you from getting swarmed once you land, allowing you to rapidly chain critical hits one after another.
Anyways, I'm grateful for this video, since I was overhyped. Now I can see this with a more grounded perspective. Thanks a lot!
I'd like to see some of the other sword/axe enchantments also being on the Mace. Looting is pretty much a must. But it also needs some enchantments are specific to the mace. That knockback with mobs in a surounding area becoming more powerful would be awesome. Emagine landing in the middle of a load of mobs Thor style and throwing mobs out in a massive ring of carnage both killing and injuring loads at a time would be insane and definitely worth using...... especially if you could use the wind charge in your off hand. Combat world start to get a lot better. Also, netherite on the mace is a must!!!!

I might expect them to add in some traditional RPG style weapon benefits, like advantage vs skeletons, and more enchantments.
I can see the mace being popular for cavers. You go down into the dark and get cornered and can’t get away from them long enough to eat Boone push enough of them back that you have time to kill them or run away. Plus if you’re in the air from the wind charge they’re not hitting you because they’re lower than you.
Awesome video!! Like the way you put the mace through its paces. If changes aren't made, I don't think I'll waste the time to even make the Mace. l stick to a Sword and Sharpness V. As far as improvement add Vein Miner enchantment to MC with having the mace as the only item that enchantment can be add to. Please, oh Please Mojang!!!!
I already test this. In staged controlled enviroment you can easy one hit kill. But in pure survival, you will need more attemps to do it perfectly not to mention the time to take if you really fail and unalive in the process.
Yep, easier to just use a sword.
I personally think this fits more of a assasination weapon rather than pvp, you can camp in a high are or maybe make one and when your target passes by you jump and either kill them or get a headstart of damage so it would be great for a smp and your rolplaying as an assasin
So it's a magic hammer of sorts as I thought lol especially if you're using the breeze charges. However overall I suspect they're adding this to give us more of an incentive to go exploring.
I'm not really a PvP player, but for that aspect of the game the mace looks to be a good addition and gels with the wind charge. I think the mace is a good candidate for an innate ability like the knockback resist netherite armour has.
With a 2%chance not to mention that you would have to find multiple trial chambers to maybe get this weapon is ridiculous so not even bothering
They need to give us offhand use for bedrock edition. The fact that the mace doesn't have looting is null on java when they can just hold a sword in their offhand, right?

Your evaluation of how easy the dragon is comes from an high experience level that you have, I think.
The mace seems awesome to me as a early to early/mid game player. I hope they make improvements for more experienced players because now I really want a breeze farm! 😂
I guess my point is... if you think the dragon is hard, you'll probably never even get a mace, and if you do, you wont have the skill to use it to 1 shot kill a boss mob. It takes much more timing and skill to use than just shooting the end crystals and spam clicking the dragon with a sword.

Or the Ender Dragon. It's a big target.
I think the 2nd time he rocketed up for slightly longer than the first time. If you can get the timing down where you land the hit right after he does that initial explosion from spawning, but hasn't had a chance to move, it could be really cool. Would require very precise timing.
If you use the wind boost thing and you're up really high. Do you take damage when you land?
Maybe if you use the wind boost and use the hammer, like a water bucket clutch, you can add a tnt enchantment like it tnts the ground and you don't take damage
You take damage for all of the blocks falled below the point you used your last wind charge.
@Prowl8413 ahh I got you. I was thinking that could be useful in some sense if it just negated fall damage completely.
I think an enchantment would be an enchant where it will decrease the amount of blocks you have to do more damage like I do 20 damage and for 10 blocks fallen but every level decreases the amount of blocks so now I do 40 damage for 10 blocks fallen
I hope they let us give it the channeling enchantment

This video makes me realise the Mace is even more powerful on bedrock than it is on Java. Because of the Java attack cooldown, you can't just spam the mace when you're falling, you have one attempt to land the hit and have to time it perfectly.
It needs loyalty, Thor style.
Just a few ideas to improve this weapon:
-Give it a 3D texture while holding it in your hand like a trident since it looks weird while holding it in your hands in 3rd person
-Enchants being able to be applied to this weapon EXCEPT FOR MENDING. This would make player want to go back to the trial chambers to repair this AMAZING weapon.
(now the enchantment ideas, this ones a doozy)
-Enchantment Ideas: Loyalty: Its the same enchant from the trident, just for the mace. The longer it takes to strike an entity the more damage is done. During this enchantment, it will be pretty weak in short distances but powerful in long distances. Cooldowns would be used for about 5 seconds after using the mace with the loyalty enchantment. Crusher: This enchantment would make it so that the amount of knockback delt during its smash attack would be higher, with a cost of it having a shorter timeframe to hit mobs while falling and making you fall faster while falling with the weapon in hand. Curse Of Thundering: This would allow you to use the rain to your advantage to whirl up little mini tornados that would move mobs around....would have a 30 seconds cooldown to use that tornado again after using it and would take up more durability of your weapon, and would also have you be flinged as well...and taking away some of your hearts to summon the tornados themselves. With this enchantment, when not in rain, it would make you fall even faster and take more fall damage when in your inventory. I'd like to see more curses enchantments in the game as it would pose as enchantments with lots of drawbacks or just drawbacks in general, and would make it so enchanting would be much more fun. Mending to not be in villagers at all and instead having to adventure around the world to find mending by exploring structures, the end, the nether, endgame structures, or fishing would also be nicer in general.

You _really_ do not understand how OP that weapon is. In the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, it's going to absolutely _ruin_ PVP, and it's getting nerfed for sure.

Yeah I can see that, I'm not a PvP'er so I didn't want to speak to that side of it. I can only talk about it's normal Minecraft survival use.
It’s literally going to be insane. I can imagine playing and just being ambushed by some guy randomly 1 shot ing me in the middle of nowhere.
@@niftylittlename In PVP, there's first of all the fact that mobility and relying on big hits are more important. Secondly, there's the ambush factor. Currently, the damage on the mace isn't capped, so even if your opponent is fully geared and buffed, this can do massive damage to them - potentially even a one-hit kill.

This feels a little premature since we don’t know if they will or will not add enchantments to it in the future. But based on the mechanics, it does still feel a little too niche to see regular use.
This is just based on as it works right now. We can only assume that current implementation is the intended final, but providing feedback could help direct some changes to it
It will be good for breaking up a mob of mobs.

prowl the mace is the best wepon in the game and it can one shot no matter how high you go in the air and sooner or later mojang will add enchantments to the mace
But going high in the air is ineffective. I can already insta-kill every mob in the game with a sharpness 5 sword except the bosses and a ravager... you can easily kill the ravager faster with a sword than a mace... the wither is too hard to hit... the warden is inside a cave where you can't get high enough to 1 shot him... and the dragon is already a very easy kill.

Not sure what you mean? The Sword has sharpness 5 on it.

I don't think it's a good idea to make the windsweped mace better than the neatherite sword in *every* way.
I would argue that it absolutely should be better than a netherite sword. Maybe not before enchantments, but definitely after. You're talking about a weapon that you're gonna need enchanted diamond gear to get. We should at least get a weapon better than what's needed to get it
I am curious about the enchantments but so far I am not impressed either.

Not without enchants it isnt...
It can only have mending and unbreaking on it. There are no other enchants for it at this time.

Generate more Trail Ruins and place the Trial Chambers under them. This way you can find the chambers by overworld exploration. Kind of like how igloos are now
Give it an enchantment so u can throw it, the more distance traveled down wards the more damage it dose but u would have to go pick it up for balance 🤷♀️
Throwing is already a thing with the Trident. How about something that makes you do a spin attack, hitting and knocking back/stunning all enemies directly around you.
Now we can all pretend to be Aang.
People are going to be disappointed when they cant use it like in the videos they are watching with cheats activated lol
I already knew it was useless anyway, as soon as I saw Ulraf’s video dying from fall damage was the first thing that came to mind, not only is it very unreliable but it’s also hard to use and weaker than a Netherite sword, from my perspective the wind charge is 1000 times better than the mace because you actually get to use it and do some damage/knockback and you can also use it to boost yourself up in the air like you’ve said but the mace is not cool and I don’t understand why people are asking Mojang to nerf it, I know that it can be annoying in pvp but I don’t think it matters because the players usually move a lot when fighting, they are not gonna stand there forever waiting for you to land your hit so I don’t believe it’s gonna matter that much considering how easy it is to kill and trap a player in a combo

I would have compared to a diamond sword since most players dont get netherite. Also haven't seen anyone see if mace is upgradable to netherite, would have been cool to check that.
