Fans are upset about the Mob Votes, and Mojang has reassured multiple times that the losing mobs will be added "when the time is right"
The time is PERFECT for the Copper Golem. It would fit well with the many new copper items, and fit with the new "tinkery" and ancient trial chambers. There could also be oxidized Copper Golems around the trial chambers acting as statues, giving more of an "abandoned" or "ancient" feel.
Mojang wants to please the community, this would help in doing so.
Sadly, minecraft RUclipsr Silentwhisperer, who has insider knowledge confirmed Mojang aren’t thinking about adding the copper golem or tuff golem to the update..
it would also be cool to see Tuff Golems in those chambers as well, considering the rooms themselves are primarily constructed out of both copper _and_ tuff.
imagine walking into a trial room seeing a tuff golem holding a diamond or some other treasure
The glare would have been PERFECT for lush caves, as was the barnacle for the ocean update, and the moobloom could have easily fit into the cherry blossom update.... I don't think they're ever being added lmao
alr so the only things mojang said they would add "when the time is right" is the biome vote losers, for all the previous mob votes, mojang has stated, MULTIPLE TIMES, that they would be gone forever, like forever forever, they made sure they got that message across, repeating it constantly. For this mob vote, they didn't do that, they even said they would maybe add the losers
They are never gonna add them till 5 years has passed lol
It’s interesting that the walls and floors of the dungeon are made of tuff and copper. Both being the rejected golems
Consider it Mojangs apology i guess.
@@UrielKingston-zq4bjnot really more like a taunt
@@theminerooms Considering Mojang's behavior the past they're definitely rubbing their losses in people's faces
rip golem bros
@@EmperorPenguin1217you think an entire dev team is that petty? I bet they’re adding the golems in with this update
The best over-deliver is when they rewrite the engine so it doesn't fry your CPU AND when they actually add normal mapping support for blocks.. That'd be sick
if you think about it, they have an entire dedicated team acquired by a company with limitless money
developing a simple java blocky gane that only gets annual updates, and yet can't make this shit smooth running at all.
I just dream of day Minecraft is ported to rust, or UE4 with different Chunk generation algorithms and smarter resource utilization but no
insane lag and ram hungry inefficient legacy java game it is
@@ridakesserwan8712 keep in mind how old and huge minecraft is, the code is insanely messy and they even talked about how they are trying to make some tools to make it easier and faster to make updates in minecraft live. also try to not think of employees as just a multiplier for how fast an update gets out, there are multiple things in game development that just cant get any faster with more employees.
@@ridakesserwan8712The problem isn't even Java itself. You could rewrite the entire game and get orders of magnitude better performance. It's just that Minecraft Java's codebase is an absolute mess, so it's really inefficient (and thus slow as hell even on powerful PCs).
I should note, it's also much harder to mod programs written in Rust (or other compiled languages).
Rewriting Minecraft Java in a compiled language would massively hinder modding. It wouldn't make it impossible, of course, but it would make it extremely difficult.
what they havent told you is they have been rewriting the game slowly over the past few updates there is still alot of work to do though they are going to be updating the OPENGL version soontm
@@nikkiofthevalley MC modder here. the java codebase is not that bad. there's just a lot going on in the game.
The best part of this update is that we don't have to mine as much copper, just raid a chamber
Edit: Im a builder ignore this if you dont build, lmao
yup, also axing the floors you can keep track,
No doubt, getting oxidized copper just got _SO_ much less time consuming.
Shame the only real use for copper is still just decoration and nothing else. I've never needed a lightning rod or a spyglass and the copper lamp is just a redstone lamp with extra steps.
Copper is super common, plus what do you even mine copper for? Purely decorative stuff
That's what I thought when I saw this. My thought was "Oh, these chambers are never gonna survive long enough to be played again. They are GONE the second they get found."
The trial chambers would be a perfect place for copper golems to spawn. It even fits in with the breeze interacting with redstone components.
that would be a dream
I was thinking they could spawn in little glass rooms above the trial chambers constantly pressing buttons that don't actually do anything, so it looks like they're the ones running the trial chambers
maybe not spawn, but imagine if it includes a golem room that teaches you how to build a copper golem
True
with the crafter, the first thing that comes in mind is making more compact storage. if you make a automatic farm that gives any sort of iron, gold, diamond, and etc you could have the crafter automatically craft nuggets to ingots, and ingots into blocks. im sure a lot of people will have fun with this new block.
Imagine a string duper automatically feeding into a crafter system, which makes wool blocks...
Perfect for large scale builds that involve a lot of wool
yeah that's what i immediately thought too. it also makes building massive factories made up with many different farms and you separate out resources to craft other things. i hope the crafting recipe is friendly to skyblock. like imagine the possibilities there.
Especially with the new pots we just got to help with automatic item sorting we have all the tools needed to set up some truly modded minecraft like setups
I wonder if it will work with “crafting” together two of an item like a bow to yield one with a combined durability, cause that would mean you could seriously compact and declutter storage units for mob grinders (skeleton, zombie piglin, etc.) since those mobs can drop a lot of non-stackable items when killed in high numbers
@@Legendary_Wolf one idea i had was with smelting the armor that mobs can spawn with and drop, crafting the nuggets to ingots, then ingots to blocks. But yet again the new spawner could be used the same way. It would be far more convenient of course.
For the trial chambers, they might make it farm-resistant by simply resetting the blocks when the spawner reactivates, similar to how the obsidian pillars reset when the dragon spawns... This would also make it so the trapdoors are replaced, so the traps can still work the 2nd time around.
Honestly I hope they do this just because I want the challenge of designing a farm anyway even with counter measures lol
I imagine a much easier solution (that could also result in less farming of blocks or accidental destruction of player built blocks) would be to make them only give loot from the spawner the first time around. keep in mind you'd probably still be able to farm mob drops from them, although a regular spawner would probably be much more efficient, unless you manage to get the spawner to think a lot of players will "participate" in the thing.
@@vivawolfwith enough flying machines and retractable sticky pistons, almost anything is possible
That means those blocks will be farmable ... maybe that be a way to get easily farmable sand?
I would really like this idea, farms destroyed the game I would argue
The auto crafter would be good for storage systems. Imagine I smelt iron then auto craft iron block. Low key lit!!!
it would make potion farms possible
@@thetruetrident i mean ppl make potion farms
Imagine making a massive block mall where you can just input a base block like wood and have every type of block from it (slabs, stairs, fences/walls, etc) get made in bulk without having to pick between all the recipes manually
My first thought was piglin farms
Seems to operate similar to carpet mod crafters. Doesn't compare to other modded autocrafters but this seems vanilla enough to be added
I imagine they'll have something that gives you mining fatigue when you enter the Trial Chamber much the same way they do with Ocean Monuments.
if it would work just like in ocean monuments, and if it was underground, if you got near it, you couldn't mine anymore so you'd have no way to get in
maybe they'd add a block that could only be mined from one side and cover the outside of the trial chambers with it
@@witha1 that's easy, put the mob in the middle of the structure and make the radius a bit smaller than the structure so you only get fatigue once already inside
@@jimmyh2137 the structure is procedurally generated, so it doesn't have a set size, what they'll probably do is when you activate a trial spawner it'd give you mining fatigue, IF they plan for it to give you mining fatigue at all in the structure
@@witha1you can easily just make the player get mining fatique once entering the structure. no need to make a mob or make the blocks unbreakable
I’m always excited for these new updates, can’t believe we’re getting auto crafting
I'd love to see someone (mostly Mumbo) build a full factory with farms connected to it and everything and it would mass produce items
if someone found a way to take the new spawner and farm the prize you get from beating it (specifically the diamond) they could combine it with the crafter to make a diamond armor farm
I would love to see how much of the creative inventory could be farmed now that auto crafting exists
create mod
There are many players better than mumbo like Tango (just to let you know)
@@pirateluffy01 yeah thats not a secret. But just because they are better doesnt mean they are more entertaining to watch.
It’s cool that they are expanding more on copper. Would like them to bring the copper golem into this update
It would be cool if there were different levels of village development. More developed villages could have copper or redstone devices incorporated into the village showing that its more advanced. Instead of torches a more advanced village would use redstone lanterns with daylight sensors on top as an example.
That would be cool, especially if they tied in the villager trading system so that the village levels up when more villagers are maxed out
i think the village itself getting altered wouldn't be feasible (and possibly highly destructive to player builds), but being able to just find higher tiers of villages in general sounds like a really cool idea. make them all feel even more varied and unique from one other and also show off how Redstone can be used to a casual player.
Yeah, I think the village should be updated
Thats a great idea for a mod, I like it.
Smelting and mass crafting blocks is the biggest reason to use auto crafting I can see right now since it would be the easiest setup to build, but I'm sure people will find crazy ways to incorporate it into mob farms and other resources too.
I'm not a very competent redstone/farm builder but I can just imagine someone who is doing something like fully automated explosive rocket production, from a creeper and sugarcane farm to squid or bonemeal grinders for the mandatory dyes, all packaged into a crafter chain and loaded into shulker boxes for easy infinite ammo. I wish I had the redstone mastery because this would be a glorious update to have it.
@@brawley1701
It's fairly easy. The main problem would be getting the resources to set up automatic production to begin with.
@@Demopans5990 Fair, I'm just still not great at guideless redstone or mob farms after having close to a decade to figure it out. I blame mods. Hopefully I'll figure it out now that I'm actually going to try focusing on it more
gold farms for example crafting gold nuggets into gold bars, then feeding them to piglins
Sure, compacting would be great, but for once, NO MORE BOWS in dispenser recipes!!! Lol
I can already see all those new videos with "Easy 100% automatic book farm" or "easy automatic rocket farm". The Crafter def brings some nice advantages into the game without being gamebreaking (well unless people find a way to abuse it or so) and for late game Singeplayer it can also be a huge help if you for example need a lot of Rockets for travelling with elytras
itd be great to add copper golems to the trial chambers because they could 1-or-2-hit you if you start mining copper there. There could be a bunch of them patrolling as guardians on the chambers. They should also have a seriously high health and have respawn common throughout the chambers so even if you did manage to kill them there will always be more. They could be oxidizing over time and have decreased strength and when theyre too oxidized they could become a permanent or semi-permanent statue, unless you axe it to revive it.
I hope with the addition of wolf armor we also get more wolf texture variety. I've wanted different wolf types for a long time, and with them getting a new item attributed to them it'd be cool to finally have that as an added bonus. If it ends up not happening, ah well i guess. But a man can dream! :D
Right? That would be so cool!!! Sometimes the plain white wolves get kinda boring, with the only customization really being dying the collar. Also i love your username lol, that's pretty clever
It's not going to happen. If you wanted a dog overhaul, it needed to be a separate thing. We are going to get one piece of armor, likely obtained similar ti the turtle shell and functioning like horse armor, and that is it. Don't expect more.
@@cryptictro Yea
Unfortunately it probably wouldn't happen for awhile but it was a nice thought
I think they need to update the wolf ai as a whole
@@cryptictro kind of pessimistic but likely true
The crafter will be SUPER nice for farms that generate items that can be turned into blocks, like iron farms. It'll take WAY longer for your chest at your iron farm to fill up if it's auto-crafting them into blocks before storing them
Make an armadillo farm to harvest their shells and send the shells into a crafter to craft Wolf armor then have the armor load into dispensers then have a hallway that your wolves walk through to armor up.
I don’t know anything about red stone but I feel like you can combine the new mechanics for the pots and the crafter to make something really cool
Yeah both a sorting and autocrafting system could be set up with this.
I hope there are game rules to make the trial spawners spawn more even in single player, because something tells me that they won't be very hard once you have decent gear or at least I hope there is something that's a challenge late game. Overall, I'm super excited for the mechanics they showed for this update
My first thought upon hearing about the auto crafting, specific "Suspicions stew" recipes. Set it up next to a farm with those ingredients, alongside other Crafters which constantly make bowls
...why would you need a constant influx of suspicious stew?? it doesn't even stack, so you'll quickly run out of space
Something I've heard no one talk about is if you go to the part of Minecraft live where the penguin lost,Vu says that it doesn't mean they'll never be added, and might be like what happened with the frog a few years back where they added it in a later update even though it lost.
Last second stressed out sweet talking bullshit. They just didn't foresee the people seeing through their facade and calling them out
@@DuncanGDA Thats probably why he said that, but you never know. The only thing we can say for sure is Mojang won't do a mob vote for a while.😂
@@MildlyAnnoying99they kinda have to since they are real animals and mojang is adding more mobs from real life so they will definitely be coming eventually.
Also like Duncan said, I think it’s just a stressed last minute sweet talk to make the rage die down a bit, even though they can only provide one example of a mob joining the game (even though it’s from a biome vote not a mob vote) tons of people have been saying that this is the only proof we need to know that the other mobs are coming
I feel like the only reason they will add the other mob vote contestants is when either mojang runs out of ideas or the community against the move vote becomes too big and they start to loose money.
Damn, farms are going to be crazy now.
Miss you captain, haven’t checked on the channel in a long time. Much love, you were one of the main voices in my childhood.
same dude
Honestly I’m so excited to see how the new stuff works and I’m really excited to see what else they add this update!
With the crafter, you can have an infinite kale bale furnace fuel farm
All I want is vertical slabs and sideways stairs. I have a slight hope for that given the cheese block in the april fools update and the fact they added autocrafters, which they said they never would add (which is the same thing they say about vertical slabs and sideways stairs)
having a resource bank that auto feeds only the necessary resources into a crafter so you can just go into a room in your base with a menu of uncrafted blocks so you can just boop a button and get the stairs or walls you need.
Hey Jordan! Love the fact you're reacting to these new Minecraft updates and explaining what's new coming into Minecraft; It's very interesting to watch! I also love those headphones you're wearing!
My guess, regarding farming the trial spawners, is that it won't be worth it. You could build a farm around them to auto-kill the spawned waves of mobs and collect the reward loot, but I'd think the cooldown is long enough, and the loot small enough in amount, that you'd have to AFK there for way too long to get anything decent, so it would be more effective to just mine for diamonds and make a villager hall for emeralds. These are meant to be fun challenges for PvE'ers/explorers without being exploited for farms.
And about your wish to have an adventure-mode-like experience in the chambers: don't forget that elder guardians already give mining fatigue in ocean monuments specifically for this purpose, so it wouldn't be the first time Mojang has done that in survival mode.
I had a realization a while back that every component of pumpkin pie can be autonomously farmed, the only thing you have to do is take the materials out of a chest and put them together in the crafting grid. With the addition of the crafter though the entire process can be made fully automatic. You can just have three farms running somewhere within render distance all leading to a chest in your base being infinitely restocked with pumpkin pie
I like the crafter. I can finally mass produce torches and flowstone blocks and other simple things. I'm a big fan and I'm so glad you are still covering this stuff years later.
There should lowkey be a boss/mini boss at the end of a trial. Maybe it can drop some unique loot or something?
I believe the breeze mght be a mini Boss, It has unique attacks and animations.
@@KattyKitten69it looks easy enough to kill to be a normal enemy
New crafter block sounds very interesting! I think a lot of long time vanilla and modded Minecraft players will be happy to see this! I’m excited to mess with it!
Number 1, we’re not getting all 3 mobs.
Did you really expect we would?
What did you expect? Something that was never promised from a campaign that wasn’t even acknowledged?
@@Mobtrapper-hq8is No that's why they said it wasn't going to happen.
Wow what a surprise!
Can’t say I saw this coming
the balance of so many modpacks is about the be thrown off by vanilla auto crafting. usually this level of auto crafting is late midgame/ early endgame and decently expensive. wonder how mods are gonna deal with this.
Most people said they'll likely just disable the vanilla crafter.
How does that ruin the balance though? You still have to gather\farm all the materials yourself, I think it's fair
@@Anonymous-bi5pv auto crafters in most mods are usually pretty expensive, so unless this thing is made with diamond blocks(which I doubt) this will be cheaper to make. There is also the issue of autocrafters usually taking some kind of power unput, where this one seems to just work on a redstone signal so what we end up with is vanilla having an easier to craft autocrafter that also doesn’t have the downside of needing a power source. Another aspect is the time, auto crafting usually takes a second or so to do for most mods, this seems pretty instant so if you hook it up to a fast redstone clock we now have something that is better in every way than it’s modded counterparts
i really am looking forward to 1.21 either way, the game just becomes more and more complex and rich, it's super cool
I'd argue it's the opposite, the new content is extremely shallow and empty
I’m my opinion it’s really cool the trials seem like a massive structure and a lot of new blocks and the breeze
@@EmperorPenguin1217 then stay on 1.12/1.8 like the other people?
@@EmperorPenguin1217 for real bro
like they hold this big event and all but then in the last couple of years of microsoft running mojang it seems they have take the "lets add 2-3 things just to look like we actually care and then make a big deal out of the small updates we add , oh and also lets forget polishing our game's internal features oh and the players want the game to run better and be less ram hungy it seems they want a 3 way twitter battle"
@@wisefries4205 literally 90% of minecraft mods made by 16 yr olds in their moms basements have added more meaning stuff then mojan has in the last 4 years
like what was the last time you actually used anything added which wasnt the shield or netherite armor
exactly
About the "new" village. When they were talking about the copper lamp. Someone mentioned, that they used it in their village and it made it cozy or somthing. So that was probably that village.
I hope that the next upcoming few updates will really hunker down on the quality of life changes more than the actual new biomes or mods. There’s a lot of things that would make the game better or just overall more fun and efficient that wouldn’t be difficult to incorporate
Best part is that they've only shown stuff that was fully functioning and complete meaning there's still a lot to this update just like with 1.20
Personally hoping for the combat changes in Jeb's combat shapshots to be implemented in this update as well. This change will definitly elevate this update to 1.16 and 1.18 level of goodness.
they said they want to focus on combat too, so maybe there is hope
If we get the Jeb's new combat this update 1.21 will be my favorite update ever released. I've been waiting forever for that to drop.
Maybe something like a mining fatigue effect in the trial combat area so we couldnt just break blocks easily.
Yooo, hearing your song in a video for the first time is always super exciting, exceedingly pumped video to start
This is huge! With this 1.21 update if the trial spawned is as good as it shows, while being a slow rate, will allow unlimited diamonds, which will be huge, diamond grinder, it’s like a mob farm, you just go afk, the mobs die, the allays pick up only the loot you want…
I really want them to add the copper golem I feel in might have a chance with all thies new copper features. It’s just a really cool concept
I think they need to update the wolf/dog AI to help keep the dogs alive when they have the armor
The Trial spawner opens up a whole new world of possibilities, for map creators. Imagine having a large server conduct a raid on one of these rooms, like your standard dungeon crawl with Minecraft mechanics!
i want some more quality of life things, like allowing carpets to be placed on stairs or slabs, maybe have wool stairs and wool slabs. make idk chainmail be useful, like it could be placed under other additional armor, give us more weapons, honestly i think if its a block in the game, it should have stairs and slab variants at least. if you want to get even crazier, vertical slabs would be a great addition too...
Seconded
I genuinely cannot believe it. They're actually going to get me to play vanilla again.
Microsoft loves the small things, the very little things being added to the game which is the main reason why this game isn't popular anymore.. We need something big, something amazing.. something to be proud of being alive for to see it
The crafter is the biggest redstone addition in years, and the trial chambers could end up bigger than ancient cities.
It's not popular anymore?
Minecraft is still the highest selling game lol
"something to be proud of being alive for" bro are you ok?
This update feels really modded-like. Autocrafters, basically a blizz from Thermal, etc.
The trial spawners seem to have emissive lighting on some pixels (they glow like the glow squid, instead of the whole block lighting up like glowstone), I don't think emissive lighting is currently a thing without mods. I don't remember any current blocks having it, at least.
God I hope the wolf armor will be protective enough to save them. I dont want this to turn out incredibly disappointing and nothing will change
It would need to have them respawn for that to work. I can't see it being god armor for dogs, as that is way to OP, and less then that is just a dead dog waiting to happen. Perhaps if the dogs can run away when low on heath and the player can heal them it may help, but still a dead dog walking.
Right
Lost my Minecraft wolf a couple days ago (rip kedamono) and we really need this wolf armor to actually be effective because I go adventuring often in my worlds and usually find a wolf or two ! We need a genuine way to protect them
It'll be disappointing like the glowsquid, alley and sniffer. So many expectations but very different delivery
@@Anima-bribeThat's exactly the problem. Expectations. Do not expect anything other than what they say. You will be disappointed. All of the people who voted armadillo because they though we would get new dog colors, or the armor would completely protect them, are quite silly.

Maybe for trial chambers they could have something apply a mining fatigue effect like with Underwater Temples to discourage placing/breaking without putting the player into adventure mode?
I think they should implement something similar to the effect that the elder guardian gives when you approach water temples, where the wind blaze thing gives players severe mining fatigue. but also in addition, makes it so there's significant cool down on placing blocks, and would function similar to the cooldown on ender pearls, but only when you're within this structure. at least, that's how I'd balance the trial dungeon. . .
Creeper Farm + sugar cane farm + auto crafter for paper + auto crafter for rockets = infinit Rocket auto crafter farm
just one of many possibilities
The autocrafter could be a game changer for carpet-bombers in bedrock edition Imagine fitting shulkers of gunpowder and a sugarcane farm on a flying machine, hooked up to the crafter to make tnt and send it straight to a clocked dispenser.
I guess you're a bedrock player cuz in java crafter, chest, shulkers and the like arent movable with pistons and slime
Yeah, except the sugarcane would break from moving, which is kinda the basis for sugarcane farms. It will make farms better overall (especially melon farms but who needs them anyway) but ultimately won’t be game-breakingly good, like for instance a vanilla auto-block breaker (without tnt).
@@Anima-bribe yep but movable tile entities will probably happen eventually as parity between versions increases.
Kelp block is made with 9 kelp and can cook 20 items so we now have a very good auto farmable fuel source, for those willing to set up the farm

Am I the only one who thinks the Copper lamp’s design looks like the amulet from Minecraft Story Mode?

What are they adding related to combat?
@@SamyasaSwi They said they are focusing on combat adventures and tinkering. This leads me to believe it is about combat and redstone quality changes.
Hardly feel like an update at all. The last update seemed very small and this one seems nearly equally as small. I hope they will be announcing some big news here soon. End update and New Dimension would be super cool and not too hard to do.
For the diamonds and emeralds from the trial spawners, they used the same items as what you'd excavate from suspicious blocks when archeology was originally announced, so I wouldn't count on those being something other than placeholder items
I think you misunderstood part of the crafter: You can't select a recipe which it will autocreate. You need to make a system where first two iron gets put into it, and then a stick. You can see this by the dropper pointing into the hopper above it. It requires a little more thinking than selecting a recipe and putting the correct items in a hopper.
I am aware it has to be manually loaded in order
@@CaptainSparklez we need the CaptainSparklez ratio
@@chrisifreegita6572one like away let's go
What they showed in the trailer was a system to load the items one by one for a single instance of the recipe. In that case, yes, you do need to think about the order. However, you could just "paint" the crafting grid with single instances of the items and then have them get fed in constantly to keep the crafter stocked. When you want the item, just send a single pulse and it'll craft one.
@@CaptainSparklez damn why are u so sexy
Failing to understand the community still not acknowledging that Mojang cannot go forever without eventually adding these other mobs from the Mob Vote into the game. They are real-world mobs, and the mechanics presented are very flushed out. Vu even said during the live stream that the losing mob doesn't mean they will be lost forever, bringing up frogs as the only example of a losing vote choice being added after sometime.
The thing is, even if they will eventually get added, it will likely not be for a very long time. So far, the swamp biome is the only outvoted thing to make it into the game, and that vote was from 5 years ago. There's such a backlog of outvoted things at this point that it'll probably be another 10+ years before these ones get added.
They might even be adding them slowly because otherwise the game would become too crowded?
The autocrafter could be used for trading between players in a server so u don’t regret crafting something that doesn’t get sold or traded
I personally think this update is going to be my favorite because they only revealed 4 things and they are probably going to add a lot more
🤣

The tinker's and thinkers update.
having an autocrafter as a randomizer. So, a recipe that shares a bunch of materials with others, (say all the different shovels), so whatever ends up being crafted you can assign weighted values to each type of shovel so you can essentially add rarities to redstone logic system fairly simply on the vanilla survival player side of things.
would be cool if they will include the illusioner in the trail chambers
The people yearn for the end update
Not going to lie, the thing I am most excited for at the moment is the armadillo. I was so excited it won, for I voted for it an just absolutely LOVE the mob. I'll probably get one and (maybe) name it Roadkill after the armadillo in Rango. The trial chambers also seem fun! Will be exciting to take on the breeze. I definitely see myself using a bed to set my spawnpoint in the actual structure before fighting, considering I'm horrid at PVP. In all, I am excited for what's to come with this update!
We're getting a dungeon made almost entirely of Tuff and Copper, so this is the perfect opportunity to add the Tuff and Copper Golem. Would be incredibly depressing if they don't, and would expose that they flatout lied about adding the losers when the "time is right". What other time but now would there be to add the Tuff and Copper Golem!?
Like shown in their original mob vote video The Copper Golems could be oxidized around certain areas of the dungeon, showing how long it's been since the dungeon and golems were built, while also acting as amazing statues. Tuff Golems could be simular, holding loot that can be gotten. They'd have to implement some easy methods of moving them out of the dungeon, considering they are small I'd just have them be minable or drop themselves upon "death", allowing them to be replaced elsewhere.
I missed Live, but on the recap article they said "they're procedural so it's a new adventure every time you set enter." Which I took as they reset every time you enter. Though that would be a huge technical feat that I don't think will happen.
I also imagined it as like a pocket dimension. That way it could delete the dimension when it's empty and generate a new one when you re-enter. Though I don't think that's happening either.
Also, my reasoning for the Armadillo winning is that there are tons of casual players/little kids who don't interact with Minecraft on RUclips or Twitter and like having dogs in-game, while the serious players don't bother with dogs, hence the skewed results.
Potential diamond farms, automated crafting, a new door that a new mob can open, and dog armor. Pretty excited!
I love how they spend years only adding things in that are environmentally friendly and accurate, then just suddenly go oh hey let’s add in a random trial room that’s just for fun and autocrafting! Like where was this attitude years ago! I only hope they do wacky new things like this more and just ship it!
I couldn't agree more
For real like archeology simulator is pretty lame when you can fight a dragon or go to hell.
@@waterierStone to be fair, I like exploring the world and seeing what's around, but yeah I also like things like that too. Also let's not forget the nether update, which IMO was a good balance of both environment and gameplay.
When Katherine said something about the Villages being "more colorful", I took that to mean the Villages would get spruced up a bit. I hope so.
I don't know what your demographics are, but I could see the why little ones, like Bdubs and his kids were voting Armadillo. I doubt they would have much use for a crab or a speedy Penguin. The generation gap and Minecraft may have crossed paths. I doubt it's the first or the last time.
The crafter is actually crazy. It's going to be a change in how the game is played on par with the caves and cliffs world gen.
Are we ignoring the fact we have a infinite diamond generator now? Cuz the spawns enters a cooldown so you can just keep farming diamonds there
I mean he did talk about that, I think they will rework that before the update comes out.
how are we ignoring the fact if he addressed it in the video ._.
Same story as the archeology. They showed good loot but then changed it.
How do we know it's going to spawn materials every time? It could only give it during your first battle then afterwards give nothing, or every proceeding battle it gives less and less.
@@VoxxeI true
I feel like every single mobvote there is a clear winner and it always end up losing and the pick the second best option.....i refuse to believe people voted for useless dog armor aboven a tool for building in a freiking building game
0:47 trials rising as a mod name makes me think of a bedrock to worldheight bedrock sealed mega tower that's nigh impossible to navigate with zero remorse and full hatred towards the player. It'd be awesome. Especially if a warden spawns, you'd have to really reconstruct your path up into the peak every so masterfully.
Idea: The new copper lantern things would be great for an abandoned underwater submarine dungeon, with many a navy variant of the Drowned.
Honestly the trial chamber feels so dull and don't even feel like that you're in a dungeon unlike the "monster dungeons" that we currently have, despite it being super small it does feel like your still in a dungeon. I think the problem with the trial chamber the use of blocks don't felt right, lacks that intimidation that you're in a challenging dungeon, and lacks that ambience, again, it doesn't feel like you're in a dungeon, in terms of using blocks i think the tuff bricks are a bit too bright when comparing them with normal tuff, and the use of the colours orange, grey, bluish or cyan kind of, imo looks bad.
Jeez just wrote a whole pharagraph, aside all of that, I wish in the near future they'll atleast update the trial chamber to make it look like you ARE ACTUALLY IN A DUNGEON, k bye
Edit: actually you know what after thinking about it, I think it's a perfect time for the copper golem to be added coz of the copper blocks, Redstone type of update we got currently
I think it looks kinda cool, but my main qualm with it is that we haven't seen any unique reason we'd want to go into a trial chamber. The only loot we know for sure exists are emeralds and diamonds, and while they are nice, it's not difficult to get them through trading and mining respectively. It looks like one of those 'one off' structures that would be cool to see for the first few times, but not worth doing anymore after getting enough gear.
@@8BreakGaming my bet is that the gems are a placeholder for something they don't want to reveal yet. but maybe im reaching.
9:29 The sad part is that the mobs were pretty equal in the amount of votes they each got. Armadillo may have won, but the crab was pretty close, and so was the penguin. that means about 58 percent of people are unhappy with the mob vote.
I voted crab, but I would have been fine with the penguin. The armadillo on the other hand, is entirely useless.
@@DrgnZipand the penguin is useless
Its practically a squid and glow squid situation.
Penguins make your boat a bit faster, but dolphins make you swim way faster. Dolphins are better in general
@@gaminganimators7000 Yeah, but the penguin was cute at least.
Am so freaking happy that they added the trial chambers I hope they keep adding structures like this above ground that makes Minecraft gameplay more exciting and fun also I have yet to play with the mighty crafter pots and copper bulbs they are going to revolutionize Redstone so much I can't wait for people will make with them
I hope armadillo armor makes them like blast proof or something. then it'd be worth it. and maybe some kind of mouthpiece to increase damage. so much they can do, let's hope and see
the community is making me cry... i am supposed to be happy. i love this update. i just dont want minecraft to die just bc the armadillo won
Minecraft is not going to die because the armadillo won
There’s no way minecraft can die at all
@@CaptainSparklez its stupid that we have to decide on mobs that arent going to change the game that much. Its dumb. They're lazy, and you cant deny that.
The armadillo is not a bad mob. Its cute, and wolves get armor, and it'll be fine.
@@Hi_Brien thats not the issue, its the problem with the mob vote. All of these amazing features that are shown are basically gone forever, and quite honestly me and most people in this community are tired of the rug being pulled by youtubers. Not only that, but mojang is purposely pushing out the least amount of features as possible to keep the game barely relevant. Were not mad that we dont get all the mobs, were tired of being rawdoged by the company.
Wow, they managed to do something boring and irrelevant, for the 3rd time!
thank you Mojang
Back to pre-1.13 we go
Honestly for the crafter, the best thing I can think of right now for it in vanilla would be: Combining a spawner xp farm and smelter xp farm. Where armor and weapons from zombies or skeleton is auto smelted by kelp into nuggets, then auto crafted into bars and blocks. And the kelp used to power the furnaces was also crafted by the auto crafter.
Not particularly useful as Iron farms are much easier and efficient, as well as you would be losing out on any xp from not grind stoning the dropped armor and weapons, but it would just be a small bonus to add to spawner xp farms.
I'm with Jordan on the crafter. I never thought they would add auto crafting. I'm stoked now.
Minecraft live was disappointing. That's all you need to know
So true! A Minecraft Live should be there to create Hype for the community
Literally the crafter in a kelp block farm for fuel sounds incredible!! Only thing to figure out is how it loads items in
I havent bit excited for a minecraft update in a long time, but this actually looks SO COOL! Super excited for the trials and the auto crafting is legitimately game changing!
The automatic crafter will be a cool block to save storage for some farms. For example, an automatic wheat farm where the wheat will then be crafted into halebales and then stored. Less storage needed :)
5:25 they could implement proximity mining fatigue like they do in the underwater temples except make it mining fatigue X or something.
I saw that the armadillo had won when i check twitter, which is crazy as a lot of people had told me that the crab was going to win. Feel like Wolf armor is needed and has been for a while now.
My guess is the diamonds and emeralds are a placeholder and they will be added different and more unique loots
No penguin as we have dolphins and ice boating. No crabs as scaffolding and enchanted tools are still efficient. We really need to try out amour on friendly mobs for once, ill improve on minecraft slowly evolving battle techniques for when multiplayer is easier to play in, with less hacking and isolation.
Hey, Captain sparkles I have a question if you can help me with it, I just downloaded your fallen kingdom map because I was going to mess around with it with some mods installed, but do you know if it was rushed because when I download it there’s like windows not finished under the castle, there’s a unbreakable armor stand in that basement that leads to the kings in the portable it’s not even there I see some of the Redstone but it’s not complete. The lever is not hooked up to it. There’s no room in general down there I just wasn’t sure if I downloaded the right map or if your team rushed it I don’t care either way. I don’t mind. I’m just a bit thrown off by it I was just hoping for an answer though if you can’t, it’s fine I was just curious because I was watching your video. I just thought I’d ask through the comments. Hope you have a nice day and I love your videos.
I don't think he's gonna answer here. It's a bedrock map right?
