Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. I really love the way peter yells "NOOO" around 4:07. It just gets me every time because he lunges himself without even thinking of himself or what he's gonna do next. He is just trying to be the best he can be and not fail at it and so when he takes that jump it's him not wanting to accept defeat. He's a good person trying to do the right thing.

3:45 on is some of the best acting in terms of pure emotion and panic from Holland. You can feel the panic in his voice as he sees the boat fall apart and I love it.

I swear, every Spider-Man actor had an extreme webbing moment. Toby Maguire had the iconic train scene, Andrew Garfield had the scene where he had to trap the lizard with a lot of webs, and Tom Holland has this scene where he webbed up the boat to keep it together.
I would say Andrew Garfield when he had to hold the webs open with Electro shooting who knows how many watts of electricity at him but good point

Spiderman Homecoming is one of my favorite movies. I was very excited when I heard that this movie was coming out and I went to the theater with my friends as soon as the movie was released. The actors who play Spider-Man have changed many times and I personally like this Spider-Man, Tom Holland. I think he is a light and humorous actor with cool atmosphere.

This series has had wonderful updates of classic comic costumes so far - I love the tactical design of the Vulture's wings, the cool trenchcoat design, and the tactical, as well as ominous and intimidating protective mask. Mysterio looks goofy in the comics, with his fishbowl helmet, but it works as a theatrical mist design, and the advanced technology of the character feels completely normal because of what's been previously established in the MCU. It would've been cool to see a more traditional version of the Shocker, complete with the yellow suit, but the versions here probably feel more natural to the more grounded world established.

Julio Gonzalez Andrews was mixed around a lot
Although the CGI on the Vulture is great in this movie, the CGI on Spider-Man (his technological suit) is often iffy. I know due to having a technological suit, it has a different texture from his traditional cloth one, but it still doesn't look right often. I think the suit's CGI is quite a big step backwards from the one on his suit in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, where it looked seamlessly real, and there was even such attention to detail that ripples could be seen in his suit while swinging. I really hope the CGI is tweaked in the sequel, I love mostly everything else about the film.
It looks better in civil war.
i've always liked the fact that Sony Imageworks tries to illustrate the ripples on his suit on the CGI. sadly, Marvel Studios decided to intentionally CGI the costume that much, it won't show any ripples at all and i just don't get that idea.

THIS is why he is my favorite hero of all time. THIS is why i love him. because spider-man shows us what it's like to have to deal with the constant threat of failing others, of disappointing ourselves, but he still tries, still fights because he knows it's his responsibility. this scene will never not make me emotional

BrysontheGhost Gaming MCU Spider-Man is actually the physical strongest Spider-Man other than Cosmic Spider-Man (who got additional powers from an outside force that make him the strongest being in his universe). This scene actually required him to pull with over 1700 tons of force with each arm just to stop the ferry from splitting apart faster. It would require even more to stop as a whole and much more to pull it back together. The other movie versions (and the PS4 version) are all 10-20 tonners at their absolute max force output, and the comic version (616) is at about the 300-500 ton level for his max force output.

Fast Networks "Looked" extremely strong. Stopping a train should be a breeze for Spider-Man, but they toned down his strength for the Toney and Garfield films. The ferry scene is actually the biggest strength feat in Spider-Man history excluding the times that Spider-Man had additional powers from something else.
To give you an understanding, the train scene required Spider-Man to exert 13 tons of force at most, and he passed out from it.
Comic Spider-Man can go to around 300-500 tons if he really pushes it and uses all of his muscles since he supported a section of a skyscraper.
MCU Spider-Man managed to curl with over 1760 tons of force WITH EACH ARM in the ferry scene. He's Thanos-level in terms of raw strength by the time IW is our, but he's still really bad at fighting since he only really stops street crime, which makes his skills worse.

I think even the webs weren’t strong enough to hold both sliced halves of the ferry together. Even if Spider-Man would’ve webbed that last section, it still wouldn’t have held it together. Spidey webbed the ferry up quite well. The webs just wasn’t strong enough for the weight capacity of the ferry and the people on it, thus, the webs broke and the ferry continued to come apart.
