Hey, Beautiful People! I just wanted to mention that I find the shampoo from this line a bit stripping so I do not use it. I prefer more moisturizing shampoos. However, it does lather pretty well and a little goes a long way! I find that the conditioner does not compensate for how stripping the shampoo is. I also did not find it to be very moisturizing when I was using it for a midweek cowash. But again, I like extremely moisturizing products because of my kinks, density, and porosity so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Would I suggest you purchase the shampoo or conditioner? Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. What I would suggest is you find a good quality, heavy-duty, deep conditioner to restore the moisture balance to your hair after shampooing. But you guys are already doing that so I'm not worried.😝 Enjoy the Video! 🤗
I use this brand of smoothie as well and I will definitely try this "shake your head method !" Finger coiling takes a toil on my arms and my hair never seem to look like the you-tuber's hair. Maybe their hair texture is less coily than mine. Your hair looks great both ways tho.
You be surprised how a consistent routine, products, technique, density, porosity, length, and even moisture training can improve the behavior of your hair! Don’t sleep! 😂
You may need more moisture. When I first started I had the same problem so I started getting really moisturizing products and doing a deep conditioner every week, now, my hair looks great with wash and go's!!
I i was trying to but altogether it took a pack and a half. And I only had half a pack left because I was skimping because I didn’t think I’d have enough 😂 If you have high density hair like mine then DEFINITELY get two packs.
Hmm tbh I am not sure because apparently they changed their formula last year(2019). I bought it around March - Apirl. To me the product is more thick than when I bought it a few years ago but it might be the same 🤷🏽♀️ I am regretting not putting the ingredients in the video because that would’ve shown. I’m sorry 😩
CurlyGurlChanelle oh no it’s cool! Yeah they changed them around 2017 too.... before Glycerin was listed around 5 or 6 and now it’s the second ingredient 😳
Soo funny thing, i just looked in my closet and found an extra packet! And it’s definitely had the “new” ingredients on there! Guess that answers our question 😂 i

Question if I buy the Shea moisture Jamaican black Castor oil line and use it to shampoo and condition would buying this line along with it to use as a cowashing regime be OK?
I apologize for not stating this in the video but will admit that I find the shampoo quite stripping and I would only use it if I needed to clean off a lot of product build-up. I feel the conditioner isn't super moisturizing so depending on what you want to accomplish with your cowash it may, or may not work. If you want your cowash to be the time in your week to replenish moisture and hydrate your hair, this conditioner probably isn't the best one on the market in this price range. Also, if you use your cowash as a walk-out-of-the-house product, you might need a more moisturizing conditioner and one with better hold, to lock in that moisture. However, if you're looking for a conditioner to cowash daily, this could work because you're simply going to reset your hair the next day.🤷🏾♀️ I still probably wouldn't use it for that though and instead would just get a cheaper conditioner like Aussie moist. 🤔 The best advice I would give is to try and find a travel/sample of both and see how you like/don't like it. My advice is according to my hair but I know a lot of people like their whole line. I hope my response was helpful! Try it out and let me know!🤗
How do you prevent knots and tangles and single strand knots when wearing wash and gos , especially if I have short hair ( just a bit short than yours?)
My best advice is to detangle your hair THOROUGHLY every wash day. Use a tool, you hands, whatever you prefer. The key is keeping it sectioned(even if it’s 8 sections lol ) so it can’t shrink back on itself. Keeping your hair moisturized really helps with knots as well. Let me know if that helps, frfr
@@haileychanelle Thank you for the tips ! My hair isn't as long as yours though , I cut all my hair off 5 months ago (bald) , I'm 4C. So I can't really section my hair and I comb it everyday and it still gets tangled and knotted even if I comb everyday. I also struggle with moisture , my hair feels really crispy , crunchy , hard and dry and feels like straw even though I try my best to moisturize so I'm really not enjoying my hair journey :(
Paballo Jr. Paballo Jr. ohhhhhh ya no ignore what I said before lol. I know exactly how you feel! When my hair was that short detangling was a joke and so were wash n gos cause my hair was too short to curl. And other styling put too much tensions on my scalp. I had to just focus on moisture balance.Spraying my hair with warm water daily, finding a moisturizer that i can use every other day, and don’t sleep on scalp massages! 😂 . I didn’t shampoo my hair more than once a week cause as you said, it’s hard to keep it from drying out. For my hair, keeping it moisturized is what gave it the boost to start growing out the TWA. If you don’t mind me asking, what is your moisture routine?
@@haileychanelle Okay, so on wash day , I shampoo my hair with a moisturising shampoo and condition with some moisture rich Tresseme conditioner. I've noticed that my hair feels crispy after I shampoo even after I condition. I then use my aunt jackie leave in and then moisturise with the aunt jackie curl cream with shea butter , then seal of with an oil. But even after all that , my hair is still really really dry. Like super crispy and crunchy , I feel like I can break a strand off. My hair will be shiny but it's really dry. It like I didn't even moisturize , it ends up feeling drier then it was before the wash process. Then throughout the week , I use my water spray bottle and use a little of my aunt jackie moisturizer , and for that hour or so , my hair will feel some type of moisture but when it dries out completely , it's crispy again. It makes me feel like cutting my hair , I hate it so much. Ive tried a "wash and go" by rubbing my fingers in a circular motion around my head and I've seen some type of coils yet they are really tight , I'm not sure if I'll get any type of definition when it's long. I've been struggling with moisture and this dry feeling when I hit the 3 month mark. What do you suggest I do ? I really want to grow out my hair but everything seems against me doing so , breakage , single strand knots and dryness, the list goes on smh 😞
@@haileychanelle And the worst thing is , I'm in South Africa and we don't have a whole lot of the products you have , plus I'm a student and I don't have a lot of money trying to find products thats best for me as things are really expensive here, I've already purchased a whole lot of products and nothing has seemed to do the job, I've got a bunch of unused products
Definitely be careful🤣 Interestingly it’s my neck that hurts a bit if I shake it too much 🤣 it gets better as your hair gets longer because the hair is heavier!
@@haileychanelle I did a finger coil video last week (✨Finger Coils on 4c Hair✨ ruclips.net/video/M4Wvy1xer50/видео.html ) and I used aunt jackies and got2b lasted a week and I just splashed it with water /jojoba oil and cream each day✨
Just__Tira you use got2b on your hair as gel???? My mind is blown! I have GOT to see this! Ya I just refresh mine with mielle white peony leave in and water, never though about jojoba oil cause I don’t use oils much. I’ll try that too!

Not to be dramatic, but you have the best type 4 wash and go I have ever seen on RUclips. I love your hair.
I disagree but her hair looks great
Shea moisture was my go to. I don’t know why they changed the formula. You hair looks amazing 💕
I didn't know they changed the formula until someone told me! I'm sorry it doesn't work for you anymore. Thank you!
