I use rubber band worked better for me. For some reason when i used the heat my hair would still shrink back up later (and i had more frizz from the heat)
no eva please dont straighten your hair, its so healthy and florishing! you have too many wigs to be putting your natural hair in danger like that but your hair your choice

just a tip ! i noticed you said your hair didn’t feel conditioned it may be because you only shampooed once , your supposed to shampoo 2-3 times to ensure your hair is really clean & all the product build up is out lol .. (i went to cosmetology school lol) i hope this helps you love the curls btw 💕💕

when your hair shrinks up like it did, you can stretch your roots with a blow dryer so your curls can look longer💕💕
and picc the roots out with the oil..the volume gon be there
or put it in a high puff to stretch it

@@EvaWilliams also Shea Moisture’s shampoos are meant to be gentle so one wash to remove all the gel you had in your hair probably wasn’t enough

i think a deep conditioner would help ur hair feel more moisturized when u wash and dry. that’s what help me bc we have similar hair textures
