I went 5-4 at NAIC, my first time going positive at a major, with the LA version of your team. Before I picked it up, I was struggling to find any Reg G team I liked. Thanks for sharing so much of your journey with us along the way.
It's always amazing to see the journeys of players who build irregular teams. I played this team on cart once (Although it wasn't you) it gave me very much trouble despite me winning.
1:43 this is a REALLY good point I believe in restricted formats, sticking to one archetype/legendary throughout and the season and adjusting its teammates to the meta, is the most consistent strategy We saw this with James Beck top 4 worlds with no mega in 2019, Miachel Kelsh w/ zamazenta this year, Wolfe played shadow rider since day 1 of the format, same with most loyal ice rider players in day 2, the Miradion world champion, and now you with Regidrago!!!!
I love videos that showcases players runs through tournaments, it’s why I love Justin Carris’s video it’s why I love watching Wolfey. I also believed in regidraco for a long time during reg F. So seeing someone Top cut worlds with that is so awesome
Wow. This is such a well constructed video that really gets you invested in your story. I don’t know if your considering to continue RUclips but I for one very much enjoyed this one. Anyway, I’m glad you picked VGC back up and I’ll know to look out for your name at future tournaments now.
Big respect on the Regidrago, I love him so much when I first started playing vgc back in reg e (or d I can’t remember),My first team i very made and used had regidrago, and since then regidrago has become my fav Pokémon
I used a variant of this team in a tournament! Love seeing the Zacian representation at such a high level of competition, and the regidrago is also super cool, it's probably my favorite anti trick room mon period
Awesome video! I cant wait for you to bring it home next year!!!! P.S. Zacian is one of my favourite legendaries so this was such a blast to see during Worlds
Very nice video Grant! I’m often doubtful of unconventional builds to be honest but I’m glad to see you took advantage of the metagame at large to make this work. Funnily I’m more excited that you made Zacian work than Regidrago haha but it’s still a neat team!
I had the pleasure of watching the power of your regidrago team rip through someone in sudden death at the Pittsburgh MSS. Its really cool to see you bring it all the way to top cut!!!
Great video and congratulations! I hope to qualify for Anaheim 2025, which is tough as I live in Japan. Good luck to us and if it doesn‘t work, I will be there either way :D
I’m so glad to see that my favourite Pokémon of all time preformed well
