Is it just me, or does this scare the shit out of u?? Thinking about Chernobyl and the abandon city...guess the song did its purpose; set a creepy-ass mood.
at the start yes especially when cpt said "too much radiation we have to go around". But when the running sequence was playing the part where theres those drums and beats that made me energized
The soundtrack in this mission is on par with some of the greatest FPS in history, Medal of Honor for example. There's just a fascinating excitement to it and it really pumps up the atmosphere. This is why I think a step back to a WWII or Cold War theme would be a great idea for the next CoD. It might just rekindle my love of the franchise (which died when I tried to play 'Ghosts').
+TraustiGeir They already did the WW2 stuff though. In WaW you take the final stab at the Nazis...in Black Ops it's all about the Cold War and what went on in the shadows. Maybe this is why the USA needs wars haha, so that Infinity ward has more story material to work with haha. Maybe a WW1 game would be cool? Nobody's ever done that lol
Shtumpy WWI would be brilliant for a fresh start! Maybe with the player taking on the role of the U.S. Secret Service. And, yes, Black Ops is mindblowingly awesome. I'm sorry to admit that I have yet to play WaW.
If you play Ghosts, the sneaky mission in Amazonas called "Hunted", is pretty damn awesome! Not sure if it's better than this one, but it is one of the best sneaky missions in a while.
Victor Wirtz Word. Ghosts' "Hunted" was alright, but wasn't nearly as heart pounding and intense as "All Ghillied Up". Sometimes I feel that World at War's "Vendetta" takes the top spot, but that gave a feeling of power against the oppressors. "All Ghillied Up" was, like I said, heart pounding.
Cod 4 is by far the best cod campaign ever, and I'm saying this after advanced warfare came out. I love the very nice music, very nice story telling, and the very nice beautiful landscape sceneries in cod 4.
Francis Moran Infinity Ward publishes present day/ww2 themed COD titles . I think they are the best among the two current COD devs. All my memorable COD moments are form Infinity Ward titles . Wish Activision could understands that.
***** Maybe you need to research what your talking about. First off, InfinityWard isnt a publisher its a development studio. Activision is the publisher. Second off, Infinity Ward did make World War 2 games, infact, they made the first two Call of Duty games as well as the engine which was based off of id Tech 3 engine that every Call of Duty game since has essentially been an improvement upon. They later made the Modern Warfare series of CoD games. The guys that used to word at IW left IW and went and made TitanFall so the guys that currently are in IW arnt all the same devs. IW has made present day and world war 2 themes with the exception of Ghosts. Looks like maybe your the one who needs to "look up a little more about the games you're speaking about"
Ashley Queen Of Torture “Too much radiation. We’ll have to go around..stay away from the radioactive areas. There’s pockets of radiation all over this area. You absorb too much, your a dead man.”
I like Cpt. McMillian Scottish accent. :3 Always loved to mess with this guards around "There is 4 tangos inside, don't even think about it.." Haha. Great game! Pitty it's wasn't working on my PS3. ;-;
I sincerely wish that Infinity Ward will release the original scores of both MW1 and MW2 on CDs or iTunes, because Harry Gregson-Williams and Hans Zimmer are my favorite composers. I also wish Infinity Ward and Activision would've had the sense to bring these guys back for MW3. Thanks for the awesome upload dude.
CoD gets a lot of shit and ill admit im not the greatest fan of where its going... but ill be damned if All ghillied up wasent one of the best missions ive EVER played
I would love for a video game to be nothing but All Ghillied Up, THAT is my dream game, and that would be a true game of sniping, tapping into realistic snipers ability to blend in and patiently eleminate targets using a ghillie suit and rifle
Anthony Lucente It's a really cool campaign, very very similar to that of All Ghillied Up and One Shot One Kill type of settings and playstyles. Only weapons in the game are Snipers and Pistols. Online was really cool in it's prime, but it probably doesn't have enough players online anymore. Game was made in 2011 I think.
How could someone even go about composing something like this. The shivers it gives off are unbelievable. Music doesn't get more effective on people than this!
Everyone is sayin Macmillan died in this mission. That ain't true he just couldn't walk he got injured and he's also in one of the MW3 maps and price is talkin to this man and he says u owe me for Chernobyl I think he says or somethin like that and price says that cuz price saved Macmillans butt in Chernobyl anyways that mission in cod 4 was the best mission in cod history and so was this game every game after MW2 was a piece of shit
Thing about this music is that it evokes an eerie ambiance the whole time. Exactly how I imagine the area of Chernobyl and Pripyat being; haunted and spooky.
When I was 7 my big brother and my sister in law would be making food I’d be in the living room playing the campaign acting like I was in the game how time go by fast
Srsly this game and this mission just made my childhood and I think Cod4 and Mw2 are the only good game of the CoD series. Infinity Ward did a good job here but fucked up after MW2
At the time everyone including myself was hating MW2 and calling it the worst COD game ever but by today's standards it's a masterpiece. I wonder if people are still playing it. Would be cool to start all over again in the multiplayer. You should try the old COD games if you don't mind the old graphics. They're fun as hell.
BlackHawk1819 I thought the campaign in MW2 was pretty weak actually. The multiplayer was great until people started noobtubing. I could handle Commando but the noobtubes just broke the game, especially in game modes like Domination. Trying to capture the B flag and a nuclear grenade comes out of nowhere...fuck that.
Nightshift workers conducted a test that went wrong leading to a meltdown in Reacter #4. The site had to be abandoned and it is so bad, the cleanup effort continues to this day.
Music is beautiful and perfectly fitted with gameplay. It was strange feeling, walking through ghost town with this music and it didn't matter it's only game...when I saw that abandoned swimming pool and game played that sounds of children in background...chilling crawled up my spine. I want to see Pripyat in future, it must be both interesting and frightening, more than thirty years old town, where everything is right as it's been in 1986. Stopped time, unbelievable...
This mission was one of the greatest missions to exist. The sheer desertion of the atmosphere gives it a feeling of security when at the same time a feeling of distrust. The concept of stealth makes you feel as surprised as the enemy when the bullet hits his chest when you pull the trigger. But when you realize the deceit that entailed the downfall of pripyat, this mission comes full circle.
good music... good memories of the days cod 4 was played and not hacked... did this mission so much sneaky sneaky passing tjernobyl to take out zakheav. loved it.
50,000 people used to play CoD4 online....now its a ghost town...never seen anything like it.
The hackers fucked the online mode up fuck all lifeless hackers
+FreeRangeVibe PC is still going pretty good. MW2 is doing worse.
+SamDoesStuff alot worse
50,000 hackers user's in Cod4 Online.. now its a fuck shit.. and everyone doesn't like it.
Same :/
Still, to this day, the best mission of the Call of Duty Franchise.
Tanner Thomas Confirming even after 8 months after ..
TheGamingStation no shut up this is the best! Better than any other mission
Whiskey hotel from mw2 was also pretty good.

iHaminator more games as good as CODs
Nubbinz MW2 was the last good COD hacker experience*
And they must use a realistic sniper engine not that 360 noscope straight bullet shit
William Mosely More music like this song.
More mission like this mission.
More game like this game.

I've played every Call of Duty from Finest Hour and United Offensive, all the way through to Black Ops II, this mission ties for the best of them.
If you play Ghosts, the sneaky mission in Amazonas called "Hunted", is pretty damn awesome! Not sure if it's better than this one, but it is one of the best sneaky missions in a while.

Dude nothing beats sneaking around in a ghost town in ghillie suits NOTHING
Victor Wirtz Word. Ghosts' "Hunted" was alright, but wasn't nearly as heart pounding and intense as "All Ghillied Up". Sometimes I feel that World at War's "Vendetta" takes the top spot, but that gave a feeling of power against the oppressors. "All Ghillied Up" was, like I said, heart pounding.

The nostalgia
yes! i always say music creates the mood and i could never explain to people why this is and that is the best way i ahve seen anyone put it.
Am I the only one, that has just this weird feeling, while listening to this song? This song is making me think of the horror in Pripyat and Chernobyl
2:50 for nearly the next minute has strong Crimson Tide vibes. The Zimmer is strong with this one!
