This man is single-handedly saving the grades of students taking biochem
Who are you!? And why are you just so amazing? Please continue. I’m shouting you out at graduation!! Thank you for being a magical deliverer of the teachings of this once evil subject which is actually fun now.
"one mor thing, to finish off" - Half the video left.
JK'ing my friend, love your videos. Biochem exam in 2 days and you give me confidence.
People don't realise how important public speaking skills are for a teacher... I have tried to watch the same topic elsewhere but fell asleep in the middle of the video... You just are amazing Prof...
No matter ho much technology advances,The best way to study is by Classroom method and anyday the Erase board explanation will have edge over those fancy presentations..Because teacher can never get involved with the teaching by that premade presentations and You prove that again and again.
You dont have an idea How many videos and sites I have browsed to go through this Tandem enzyme regulation..And You explained it ridiculously easily. Thanks a ton man !!!
the best way is teaching on board and then showing gross pics through slides.
but also only because of advanced technology this method works for many, the key difference is that you have the ability to pause or rewind, which you can't do irl in class
@@signalrod2213 if more professors allowed students to take them back without making them feel bad that'll be the case in real life too
@@praisehart7737 it's not exactly like that: putting myself in professors skin, how is it professors fault that I zoned out for 15 mins, and I don't feel like studying rn, I rather do it in 40 mins. You can't just listening to a lecture when you are tired of it and don't feel like you are accepting all the information, you can't just stop and look up some other topic, which you missed, and spend like 30 mins learning that first and then coming back to this one
@@praisehart7737 it's subjective, but personally for me studying in class is 15 times less productive than on my own in front of a screen
Man those videos should have a millions views
+Frajw Ggg Hopefully someday soon! Thank you so much!
I strongly agree with you!!
Biochem exam is in 36 hours, you have saved my life! Thank you!
Mines too
How was it?
@@studybiology9673 This was 2 years ago, I am graduated now and passed Biochem with an A, but from what I remember, that exam went terribly lmao. But it would've been even worse without this video, so my original point still stands, this man is a life saver!
@@SilentEagle2029 👍👍👍
@@SilentEagle2029 ooo congrats
Dude, what's your day job? are you a doctor? professor? The One? Thank you for everything!!!
He's a super hero 😁
He is Engg
He is ninja
This was so intense, but it was worth watching. I watched it twice and understood the concept. Thank you, Zack!!!
If I discovered your channel during my biochem class maybe I understood the subject better. I'm just here because I felt the need to review these pathways because this is heavily related to the subjects I have trouble understanding with :(
Thank you sir for making such efforts to help students understand these complex subjects. Keep the passion burning. Salute to your team!
i have been seeing many of your videos and i just want to say thank you! you´re so so so good at explaining!!!
This man is very good in teaching because he made work simple by adding jokes that makes fun in lectures. Is so amazing and I look for his channel first before others
You simply make the best biochemistry-videos!!! Thanks so much man!
I am eternally grateful for your videos. I've watched a few of them several times and I have your diagrams in my head which help me remember what is going on during all these metabolism pathways and cycles :-)
You've saved my education! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
-from a pharmacy student in Syria.
You have no idea how much I love biochemistry now thanks to you!!! I used to HATE it with a passion before I found your videos!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
same here :D
@@karinsedlakova6316 Same here. Started to love it because of him. It's fascinating how our body deals with everything, really asthonishing.
Same too.
Thanks so much!! You man is a true legend, and your videos is so valuable, you make a very complicated and long topic that I hated in Uni into a story with smiley enzymes and simple metabolism :) Thanks for being there and always trying to make your best and for the tonnes of efforts that is placed in these videos, Looking forward for more videos Ninja Nerd!!
restudying gluconeogenesis for my MCAT & I can say this is probably the best source I have had for information. Better than khan academy and Kaplan MCAT test prep
What a beautiful way to explain biochemistry, I entIrely love your channel!
It was absolutely fun and enjoyable, thanks for being there, you're a miracle that happened in my life ❤❤

You are amazing man my appreciation to you, biochimistry is so cool with your explanation and encourage student to love the whole medicine big thks dude)
Seriously dude ...such a wonderful explanation .. thankyou for making me understand this concept
If you ever go out of your mind and decide to visit a shitty town of Belgrade, Serbia-you have a place to stay free of charge. I am not even kidding. You are my hero! Thank you so much. I am bad at memorizing, but understand logic-and that is what you use. Simply amazing :)
best teacher out there!
this channel deserves 1 million subscribers and moooreee
Best bio-chem vids in the RUclips.
How beautiful it was.....thank you sir❤️
At 7.48 you probably meant "in the muscle" not "in the liver". Otherwise it would be Glucokinase not Hexokinase
Great video as always mate you guys are a blessing
Gucokinase is just one specific isoform of Hexokinases -> Glucokinase = Hexokinase4
yeah, it should be glucokinase cause we're in muscle
No one can compete such a great legend 🙂
Your like osm sir
Really your videos boosting me confidence in biochemistry
Our teachers just read ppt, rather they explain nothing, u r saving me in building up my subject in biochemistry
Thank u very much😊
Zach, thank you so much, I finally understood it thanks to you💓💓💓
the last two minutes of this video >>>> literally everything
Great explanations! Thanks a lot ! (:
Muchas gracias, muy bonito la interrelación entre el músculo, hígado y sangre en la gluconeogenesis.

From now on, I should pay the tuition for you. Btw, you're videos are not boring at all, I enjoy watching them . Biochemistry is fun with YOU and ONLY YOU.
You are seriously a life saver!Ive read few comments and totally can relate with them you truly are very good at your work.I see you erasing your mistakes with your fingers pls use a finger cap or something as those ink molecules can be harmful or even carcinogenic.Your safety is very important to your students and your family!
one of your students from India❤️
This is an amazing explanation
thank you for making this difficult topics easier to us
You are even better than khan academy 💀for real.thank you❤
way better, its not even close tbh
I have a question: why does a higher ADP/ATP ratio (as in a low energy state within the cell) inhibit Pyruvate Carboxylase and Fructose 1,6 Bisphosphatase? Don't we need more energy in a low energy state? And so shouldn't gluconeogenesis increase when the cell has low energy, so more glucose is made and can be broken down for energy?
Also Glucagon phosphorylates Pyruvate Kinase and therefore inhibits conversion of PEP back into Pyruvate.
This has the effect of diverting PEP to the synthesis of glucose!
Muito obrigado!!!!! You're amazing, dude!!
amazing man! god bless you! thank you so much !
Thank you for this great inspiration
Thank you so much!!
shoutout to this man for making me pass biochem
Thankuu so much...your teaching method outstanding
videos are cool make it easy for many people to understand and i would to see more videos such as malonyl coA pathway ,fatty acid biosynthesis and many more other than that you the best.
Sir, You are amazing ❤️
Love from India
Thank you so much sir
thank you for everything💞
Thanks again for all the videos! Just a random question/suggestion: would it be possible for you to put a final picture of the board in the end? Sometimes it would be really helpful to check a little detail instead of watching the whole video again! But anyways, I'd really like to thank you for all the content. Y'all are just amazing
This is something we have recently started to do in all of our videos. Thanks for the suggestion!
Ninja Nerd Science wow thanks! That's just great. Can you please check my previous comment on the gluconeogenesis video? :)
