I use this stuff quite a bit, painter's caulk, I actually use the clear stuff a crap load, I mix it with stage blood n it works super well, I use it with unwound jute rope and it gives a super fleshy look, I'm experimenting with a bunch of other stuff, hoping to get enough good stuff to sell :D

@Sn00kyCr00ksWorld Ears are mostly cartilage, so they take longer to decompose, I added the towels to it to mimic flesh- ears are part of the flesh.

I've done this with the cheapest version of Liquid Nails, but I never thought to thin it out. I've always just smeared it on the prop undiluted. It makes a great coating for paper mache and Great Stuff foam props. Now, I'll give this one a try. I need to churn out a lot of little guys this season, so this will help to stretch the budget.

I think you would have a ton of problems going that route, it will not come out of a plaster mold and is not that flexible when it dries. Also we have no idea what chemicals it would leach into your skin.

Griffin, is it the application of the dried latex acrylic that allows you the capability of wiping of the stain without it soaking into the paper towels? In the past I have used shop towels for strength and than applied the paper with glue as the binder so I imagine that I would have to overcoat with the latex acrylic to get the same wipe off capability?

Does ammonia have the same thinning properties as naphtha? I was thinking of making a werewolf for next Halloween and thought of using spider webbing for really cheap light weight fur ( Ive seen black webbing at times). Is there any possibility of dying spider webbing with stain or paint on plastic spray paint.
