I keep seeing people saying that these guys need to write their own songs instead of just stealing other peoples songs. I don't think they realize the creativity and originality that goes into each and every song that these guys do.

This is "old school" PTX, when they were still struggling, trying to break through to the main stream. I loved these recordings when they were just sitting on someone's couch in the living room making recordings. They did a few of these before they broke through with their first CD. After that, these types of videos were history. Love these guys! Wish them the best...

I came across PTX today and haven't been able to stop watching. This version is one of my favorite. And Kevin I didn't hear you sing until this video and I have to say that you are amazing. You should sing more.
A good friend of mine told me to watch this video because I had never heard of PTX... now, whenever I need a distraction from daily insanity, I go to youtube, search PTX and click the first thing I see. I cannot thank her or them enough for this music.
They are genius when it comes to giving each other their parts. They all rely on each other for time and build off of each other's runs, grooves and melodies. Their solos are amazing, too.
Tina (My Lovely Wife of 33yrs) and I love this version of "As long as you love me" more so than the original. And believe me y'all, I do Love her and she me with all our heart and soul.!! You guys have the first of this style of music. There maybe others that will utilize your style, but you'll always be the first. In the future when you hear PTX you'll know. Just like Elvis, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, the Eagles, etc.
