Avi (the bass) received many awards for Best Percussion Section while he was in his college acapella group. Kevin (the beatboxer) won second place in the Yo-Yo Ma contest for his exquisite and unique "celloboxing" (when Kevin beatboxes and plays cello at the same time).

I keep seeing people saying that these guys need to write their own songs instead of just stealing other peoples songs. I don't think they realize the creativity and originality that goes into each and every song that these guys do.

This is "old school" PTX, when they were still struggling, trying to break through to the main stream. I loved these recordings when they were just sitting on someone's couch in the living room making recordings. They did a few of these before they broke through with their first CD. After that, these types of videos were history. Love these guys! Wish them the best...
