I love the Towpath! One of my favorite rides to do!

Do you have a coach? I'm not a coach, just asking the question.

haha love the question and how it's stated. i do NOT have a coach. I had to create my own plan and did not find any full ironman training programs online that seemed well fitted for me. going at this as novice as you can be

@@geoffreyruns I didn't want it to look like I was trying to solicit you. I'm doing IMFL in Nov so I was comparing workouts(stalked Strava😂). I did Chatty 70.3 this year and that bike and run is going to be a good challenge.

@@bradtomlinson8252 oh man IMFL looks TOUGH. best of luck to you on that one. besides bike and run being challenging/hilly for Chattanooga, any other things I should keep in mind or prepare for? How easy is it to get nutrition on the bike course?

@@geoffreyruns I generally take my own nutrition but they have plenty of aid stations. With this distance it's ok to stop at the stations and refill bottles, use the restroom and whatever else. Your goal is to finish the 1st one and learn. If I could give you one piece of advice right now it would be to ride the bike more and do some intensity workouts on your shorter trainer rides. You're a good runner but your run is no good if the bike kills you. On Sundays I do a 3 hour ride with an hour run OTB. Also try and get in some open water swims. Keep grinding and let me know if I can help with anything. G1M
