Hey Jay, thanks for that old chap. Yes it's time already for a new demo, with 6 months more knowledge and know how behind it.
The first and last(but one) clips were produced by a "studio" although the first was recorded in my booth and the other "downtown". I've started using more compression nowadays ;-)
And yes, the "sign off" will go, you're right ... we don't have the time.
Actually that was the perfect review for me, thank you for your advice.

@@jaymyersvoiceover I'll send you my new one when it's done .. as a before and after type of thing, but it'll take a while 'cos I'm on 2 pay to play sites now and I'm busy doing lots and lots and lots of auditions! Learning by Doing.

Sorry, quick question on all out there, in the Demo is it better to have a clear break between the clips or a smooth mix ?

Great question! I think it's somewhat a matter of preference, but a smooth mix in my opinion offers a bit more polish. It's helpful to mix them separately however, so you can still use the individual samples discretely instead of always bundling them together.

Is this entirely a DIY demo?

Ray said some samples are, some are produced.

Yes and no, it's a bit of both. But I produced the demo myself ... badly with the advantage of 20/20 hindsight ;-) But I'm working on my new one if you've got any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.
