- I think there is definitely the possibility of a 2 1/2 hour run, but it would have to be pretty precision perfect without a significantly better route.

Potra is pretty crazy; however, Oni is even sillier if you give him some self-heal and the Muramasa. Doing so will turn his bonus bolts into a Gatling gun that can still level. a bit slower until you get to that point though.

Make sure you are on the beta branch, go to settings and click on the work “Account” until the reset option appears.

Why we going backwards in game graphics ?
My favorite has to be the knives once you evolve them it's a wrap, but my favorite combo (I don't know the names 😅) is evolved knives, santa water, lightening, garlic, wand, and whip you are untouchable might as well put the controller down and let it play out 😂

How do you know if chests are going to be triples before you have even opened them?
The first 5 chests on the first run of a new save are pre-determined. After that it is completely random.
@@NeverNathaniel ah, shot for that. I thought there was some way to roll maps to ensure the most triple chests.

Ohhhh you don't know about how the red gems work yet... There is a limit of dropped gems so longer you wait the more the red gem is worth

@@zoso1up Mhm, to be honest, I uninstalled the game already. There was a rolling ball of skeletons in one level which seemed to continue growing, it was marked with a question mark in the map, and I haven't found out how to kill it.
@@gangofeagles5818 they protect the coffin,in the coffin is a new character.when starting off its hard to beat them but once you start getting powerups from gold in the main menu they become alot easier to beat.
@@gangofeagles5818 yes, you're talking about the bonus stage "the bone zone", you need to have a very strong setup to nuke the ball before it rolls too much and gets out of control

What really caught me off guard with Nier Automata was the gratuitous Japan-ness of the game. Existential crisis punctuated with strategic upskirt shots of the main character. Nice.
In case you were still wondering, you can press ESC right when you open a chest to cancel the animation. Not skipping it but drastically speeding up the time it takes.
Like he said in the stream, you can't skip/shorten the animation until you've opened a bunch of them. On a new save file you can't.
You should try "yet another zombie survival game"

You have to open something like a hundred to skip the animation and that's for each chest type. I still can't skip the 5 item counts on my game yet.

You can skip the chest animation by clicking right click or space i believe
Ah for me escape works but not on 5 item chests, only if there are goldbags only in it

Just done 5 hours on xbox and the timer reset
i dont get the run he left at 8min 50 on the first map
The run was only to unlock the library, which you unlock once you get to level 20. At that point, staying in the run is a waste of time.

On a new file, there is a minimum number of chests you are requires to watch before the skip becomes available.
