It’s not a question about gear or about the best camera. It’s a question about idea. In my opinion random photos aren’t street photography only because street is the background. Street photography would be ideas, frame that give you emotion or particular scenes/frames in which you can see the photographer’s style/colours. Random photos could be ok but only if there is a story behind.

To capture everything in the frame from the top to the bottom, and also - don't forget - from the left to the right. Some people forget about the left to right part. Don't forget about left to right. Otherwise, it is possible to take a photograph of yourself If you're not careful. Generally speaking, you point the camera in the general direction of the subject/background you want to capture. You see, almost all cameras will capture light coming from the same general direction in which the camara is pointing. Some cameras have a feature known as a "viewfinder". When you look through this viewfinder, you are given a sort of preview of what the scene will look like. Press the shutter button on the camera when you have the scene lined up (again - top to bottom AND left to right) the way you want it to look. If you are trying to take a picture of something in front of you, and you see yourself in the viewfinder, your desired composition will be skewed. You are likely holding the camera backwards. Also, you should probably see a doctor. Hope this helps!!!
