Saw these at Sheffield City Hall many years ago with my late darling wife Emily. Donnie performed. What a singer and what a band. I’m still wearing the beanie hat that I bought as a souvenir.

I want this song to be played at my funeral as they take me out on my final journey....but they must not have the church bells bonging.. because I hate that maudlin sound........

It was one of the songs we had at my husband’s funeral. He really loved this one, and I asked his best friend if he could sing it. It was a magic moment💗

That is a good idea with the funeral. I might also do this. Greetings from Germany 😊

Played it at my mum's funeral. Few days later kept hearing it on the radio but was the Gàidhlig version. Donnie was the voice of Runrig as far as I'm concerned

I saw them live, just after Bruce joined the band. No offence to Bruce, but I preferred Donnie up front.
