I just updated on mine (2021 Sonata N line), but apparently, it's not letting me open maps or navigation menu, nor is calendar or weather available. Did you experience any such issues? Most of the other options are working perfectly.
@@coltsbrosu Hmm, my device is now write-protected, wonderful. Can't delete the older files to reinstall. Did you delete the software from the computer and re-downloaded and re-transferred? This is supposed to be the easiest thing and Hyundai is making it complicated.
Thanks for the tutorial! After reading the comments, while downloading the update, I think I'm going to pass the update for now but I wonder how much accurate are the updated maps and the driving directions (specifically here in California). Have you seen any improvement that justify all the new display design?
Hi there, I notice that you did the update, but for me, it show me a message "download for this vehicle is not yet available" any idea what's wrong, thanks for your advice
Heyy no idea but I’ve heard that before from some as well. Try this, delete the update software from your flash drive and re install (clean copy) and try again. Also, make sure the car is on during the whole time. Engine doesn’t need to be running but at least the accessories should be on and available. Let me n je if that worked!
I see on your video you used the 3 way split screen before update. I cannot understand why they removed the nice 3 way split screen. Now you have a black with nothing screen, need to do much more clicks to go anywhere on the screens. I called Hyundai, they said was removed because nobody was using, for user a no true. Very sad. If there was a way to go back on the update I would do it.
OMG I would go back in a heartbeat why Hyundai thought no one used it is beyond me and shows a big disconnect from their customer feedback. The screen now is pretty much unusable.
