The B series is a good rifle. The barrel is not attached to the receiver with pins. Should be a solid receiver and barrel connection with a rifle that can be handed down generation to generation.

I have two on order. 17 hmr and 22 mag. Hope they are as good as all the reviews I have wached. Heard they had some bolt issues. As this been resolved?

      Thanks for your comment.
I have a B22 with a stainless barrel. No problem what so ever with mine. It is a .22LR and I've shot app. 5000 rounds with it. :-)

Thinking of getting one of these in .22 for each of my boys. Any comments? Just a plinking rifle and grouse hunting

I think it is a nice option. I have not used it my self, but I've spoken to some hunters that has it for plinking and small game and they are very happy with them.

Have a B22 with iron sights, but no info anywhere how to adjust the rear sight or what size allen to use, assuming it will take an allen, not of the sets I have fit it. Come on Savage! If you can't sight your rifle in? Basic data.
