Yes!!!!! Karl Edward Wagner's Kane is my all-time favorite sword & sorcery hero/anti-hero. Kane is a very interesting and compelling character. Kane's duality is fascinating: brutal, yet extremely intelligent and sophisticated. Mr. Wagner's writing style is wonderful and exactly to my taste. Kane is a vastly underrated dark fantasy character that deserves much more love and recognition.
@@EternalCrusader-it1jn I'm 57. I discovered Kane in the early 80's. I still have his Kane novels on my shelf. ; ) I'm glad that youngsters like yourself have discovered Kane! Well done with your in-depth video!
Excellent reviews, haven’t read that dark Conan novel since the 80, sometime I was hoping that some fantasy author could do new stories about Kane like Carter and Sprague did with Conan……………….sword and sorcery, heavy metal yeah
I liked how Karl Edward Wagner actually finished the "Dark Crusade" story arc in his novella "Reflections for the Winter of my Soul" that was included in the novel entitled "Death Angel's Shadow".
@@EternalCrusader-it1jn it’s actually not a sequel, but it fleshes out what happens to Kane when he flees from the Satakis which serves as the introduction to another Kane adventure. “Reflections for the Winter of my Soul” is in my opinion one of the finest Kane stories. I’ve reread that story the most. Enjoy!!!

With mere 36 years, I often feel like I'm the youngest reader of his works! 😀

I did not know about this sequel! I will check it out once I'm through the novels. I'm now reading Darkness Weaves.
