My bad! That is not a Tarrey Town house. I was traveling today so had to pull together the video during a 5-hour car journey and there was a bunch of glare on my screen. Editing out to avoid any confusion. I am on holiday this week so apologies if the upload times or consistency drops off a bit this week. I will still be shooting for daily uploads!
I'm in the same boat it completely fucked me up I kept rewinding it I closed and reopened RUclips, and rewind the video again, then searched the comments to see if it was just me.
For the logs, there are two on a dock near Bolson. I gave him them then saved and loaded. They respawned and I just did that. Didn’t even have to leave the village 😂
There's big editing mess ups starting with that, with the sounds of the "build of the day" animation that usually would happen, and everything that follows is two clips behind from what happens on screen. I enjoy the TOTK stuff on this channel, but this is unfortunately what can happen when people try to rush content out too quickly without double/triple checking the full content before exporting the full edit. Hopefully they can fix it with a new upload, but if anything, learn from this to ensure it doesnt continue moving forward.
I don't really understand the trouble people seem to have with lurelin logs. I just carried some with ultrahand from the nearest trees. I didn't use a vehicle or wheel or anything.
Same, I chopped them up just by the shrine, (lots of evermeans, too) and ultrahanded them together and carried them down the hill. Although I have to say, the log-wheel was a very neat solution.
@@InhabitantOfOddworldNo, he says not to use palm trees, and he even tells you where to find trees you can cut, just up on the hill where the shrine is.
Spent the last few days doing different train ideas. My initial thought that got me thinking of trains in the first place was to use cooking pots and they do work well. It's actually surprising how well a single fan can push a 8+ car train along the flat track around Death Mountain.
For the fireworks: If you add one more Star Fragment and light it near Farosh or the other dragons, you can reenact Shenron scattering the Dragon Balls across the land.
I've started to really look forward to these.. they really make me want to play the game and come up with some cool ideas! (None of which ever work.) And might I say I find you and your commentary very cute. Thanks for the awesome content :)
Sad news. I was planning a KSP build, but it doesn't work :-/ Wanted to put a korok in that bowl you get from a shrine, then attach that to 18 palm trees and a stabilizer at the other end. But it couldn't even lift 8 palm trees.
Small Wheel Engines have now developed further to use Flux Construct I cores as the axle, sometimes using 2x small wheels on the same core for better consistency and reduced stalling potential.
@@Vector_Hs you can find plenty of builds in r/HyruleEngineering. The advantage is that it has better friction for consistent power transmission and faster startup time. This is important because the lift it generates is binary--either it's moving fast enough and generating a fixed amount of thrust (spinning faster ≠ more thrust -- it's either on full blast or off) so faster spinup time helps you achieve that lift faster if you accidentally stall it out because of your flight angle.
You honestly dont even need to do that much for the logs. I literally just made a pyramid stack, and chucked it down the sloped road to Lurelin by the shrine, made from the trees around it. They slid down like it was nothing to the village
Hey, don't feel bad. I went out to that swampy forest by the Thunder Gleok and wasted a LOT of time trying to put the logs on a cart and haul it with a horse. Gave up halfway and put big wheels and a steering stick on the pile of logs.....only to find out there's 15 trees up by the shrine above the town.
nintendo needs to give us a solar cell that activates things when light beams hit it. I'm pretty sure that'd be enough to make the game turing complete (though you'd need mods and a massively overclocked game to do more than a handful of gates)
I feel like, as a point to anyone submitting in the future: if you're going to create builds that are light-based, please have the clip done at night or in the dark. That Tron bike-like would've looked really cool in the dark. Others have shown their builds off at night for light builds, such as the fireworks ones. I just feel like it'd be a lot better for viewing purposes, since that's generally the main idea. Either way though, you all have 10x the patience I do haha. Congrats on the awesome ideas. I'm not creative when it comes to thinking of this stuff off-the-cuff, so I'm jealous.
If DLC for this game only consisted of more Korok Uber and Sign Hanging I’d be happy. Though more Zonai devices to mess around with would be great too!
On the first clip, you could also arrange the logs (I arranged it 3x5) and they all just slid down the slopes. You can also attach an iced meat at the bottom to make it faster
All I’ve been craving to know is if the bowl/ball combo from the Wao-os shrine can be used as a ball and socket somehow for vehicles. My brain will not let me figure that out
I struggled so hard with those damn logs. That's when I first discovered that you were limited on how many items you could attach to one object. I put 12 logs and four tires together with a steering stick, only to find out I couldn't put three more logs on and the wheels could barely carry that many logs. I ended up doing two trips, and twice I ended up destroying several logs along the way.
Yeah I think it got screwed up after he tried to fix the House of the Day section, since it wasn't actually a house. I'm pretty sure he cut that part out of the video but forgot to also cut the audio
I think the last one would've worked if it was angled . And it'd be cool if there was a fan too on the back of the steering stick. I'm going to try it out
Is it just me or does the video get very messed up at the 2:04 mark? It just shows the star rocket 3 times and no house then some guy dying to a zonai.
While I would say that just making a bundle of 15 and carrying it with Ultrahand myself, I will say that I initially underestimated the size of the logs and wanted to be quirky with a horse-drawn carriage before a rather quick change of plans 😅😅😅
I'm so glad I'm not the only one, been trying for over an hour and the pot just pops off, no matter if I connect with the fan, fan first then pot, or pot the fan. Nothing seems to stay
Hey dude... 2:04 onwards, something weird happened with the video, the audio doesn't match the footage at all... The example is when you talk about the "House of the Day award", it instead showed footage of someone making fireworks out of star fragments and rockets or something. This is a glaring issue I hope gets fixed...
Listen, if they didn’t want us to cheese these shrines they wouldn’t have made it so easy. I like to think they’re designed around thinking outside the box, especially if it makes it easier than intended
They fully expect you to cheese shrines. The only goal is "Reach the monk/statues." They have an obvious, provided solution, but if you think of something else, all good.

Another HYPE video!
The sound was off synce for me
Video is unwatchable now
Looks like a editing problema, the house of the day clip is missing desycing the rest of the vídeo.

Uh man I think the entire video's audio got screwed up
Yeah, the entire audio is desynced now
I believe you cut that part out of the video but forgot to also cut the audio?
The audio is screwed
I was gonna ask if it was just me (phone has been acting wonky lately)
I like how, at this point, he doesn't even mention the Korok strapped to the firework. It's just a given.
I didn't notice it TBH
@@FearlessPheonixdid you not see the text bubble?
It's a Canon event, he can not intervene.
Poor korok
I didn't even notice lol
All that Tron cycle needed was a Star Fragment or two attached to the tail end to create a light trail
Oooo, nice tip. It also massively increases the despawn range!
That would be great details
I think a dragon scale would also give a similar effect, and increase the despawn range by much more than a star fragment.
@@Mightylcanis Dragon scales don't have that extreme light trail, unfortunately.
@@FelisImpurrator I didn’t think they did
Mate, just a heads up: there's a clip missing, which de-synchronizes the video's audio. Happens at 2:04.
im not the only one, somethin goofy is goin on

not alone thought i was going crazy
not crazy, glad to hear it.

Dude, the rockets and star fragments make kt look like the Dragon Balls
My first thought as well!
Fun fact: The logs you need to repair lurelin village are right next to the lurelin village shrine. There's even enough to get all fifteen.
i made myself a huge truck made of logs which could carry many more logs unfused :D was rly fun to drive over the bridges it just barely fits on top
6:00 don't forget to thank the bus driver
Way to late buddy💀
For the logs, there are two on a dock near Bolson. I gave him them then saved and loaded. They respawned and I just did that. Didn’t even have to leave the village 😂
Lol I did that too
Me too!
I made a log car
There are tons of trees near the shrine, just cut those and roll’em down the hill
I’m just too lazy even for that 😆
The 'useless build' actually helps the balloons last longer
2:04 the star fragments flying away looks a lot like the dragon balls after you use them
I think it's safe to say that twolf201 is the most creative TotK engineer
1:34 Actually I did the same thing. There are so many forms to solve puzzles in this game and I love it!
I did similar, but used Recall to pull the block back up
BIG audio discrepancies starting around 2:05
lasts the whole video

its seems to be fixed now somehow
I don't really understand the trouble people seem to have with lurelin logs. I just carried some with ultrahand from the nearest trees. I didn't use a vehicle or wheel or anything.
I think it's because Bolson tells players not to use the local trees

I just made a log brick and it slid down the hill without any help.
2:30 that doesn't look like a house 🤔
For the Lurin logs, I just fused 15 of them into a bundled mess, and threw them off the cliff. it rolled down anyway. didn't need a fancy wheel.
I saw a man build a binary calculator out of water, fence gates, and armor stands in minecraft, no redstone dust or repeaters or pistons or yada yada.
Should have kept a vid of my creative flying machine that ended up functioning as a stationary merry-go-round. My dad laughed at me.
To be fair i just attached the logs together 3 rows of 5 and then put 4 wheels and a steering stick and drove them there
