If they tied glider degradation to the size of Link’s battery, it would solve the problem of allowing it to be useful in end game builds while not being too OP early on.
really wish they would have made the glider without degradation. Not sure if they thought permanent flight would be too powerful but we just made the hover bike instead.

I really hate that they despawn. Because the glider with fans atop and a control stick actually makes a really smooth flight. It doesn't have as much vertical lift as a hover bike, but it is really good for traversal over land. But as it is, its worthless because of the gliders despawning. Same thing with the hot air balloons. Just let people use these tools.

the players stopping for 5 hours to make an ineffectual robot less effective then swinging a sword aren't exactly working with a full map of materials. you can see this if you look at the compilation videos week by week, when a new shrine smuggle item will be "discovered" en masse and show up in a bunch of the following week's builds
Metal is heavy and requires more Zonai tech to lift. That also means it costs more power to run them. Wood may be more destructible, but it's lighter, easier to move, and more readily available.

When shield surfing in the depths, MAKE SURE you start it while outside the gloom. If you start shield surfing while already in the gloom, it will still take away hearts.
I haven't tried it yet, but a friend of mine said he made a big clump of apples all glued together and kept it as an autobuild, so that whenever he comes upon a bunch of apples, he can whip out the autobuild and it will pick all of them for him, like magic..
10:00 I did that (not in the depths), except I made a roomba with a fire, frost and shock emitter attached to 3 construct heads with one of the yiga spiked shield things at the front. I call it the "king gleeok 300".
I played around with adding a homing cart drone to my depths car but found it more effective to just add more beams and cannons to the car itself. I do still like the idea of carrying a couple of drones around to deploy at enemy camps

I get the feeling that player-built death robots are going to be called "Roombas" going forward... On a semi-related note: I'm working on a Roomba design I call "The Can", its purpose is to give Link a safe place to crawl into while still turning Bokoblins into mulch.
This is cool but I don't know how you didn't give Build of the Day to the flying/driving convertible machine at 5:12, that's just insanely cool and I've been trying to do something similar so you don't need to switch between a different driving & flying vehicle
While I know what boss fight is ahead of me in the final boss, I'm glad that the devs included that mechanic to deflect the Gloom fires (idk what to call them) with the Master Sword. Definitely using that tactic when I get there if I remember to do so.
So I know there is only a few items that run out of time, but how cool would it be to have some DLC that gives you a quest to unlock a battery upgrade that allows the time based devices to be infinite.
I just wanted to comment how much I love these videos and how they completely lie about the content within them with their thumbnail. Its so nice to see something in a thumbnail and be interested in how to do it and then waste 10 minutes of your life not getting the answer. Thats my favorite thing. Being lied to.
Spoiler maybe? Mineru is great for collecting items and mining since her bare fist count as an unbreakable blunt weapon plus she's immune to gloom and blocks the other sages from activating their abilities at the wrong time like Tulins wind

Yea, just have the degradation timer start whenever the battery isn’t active
