@@MercuryA2000 right now it's still really tough to get horizontal movement. Seems like Link will get speed capped. The only movement possible right now is close to only vertical movement. I still hope this has some benefits for the speedrun(s).

Just adding to the dupe glitch. If you do it once and are still midair, you can do it again but with whatever item you want. The drawback with this is that it will take from the slot to the right. And if there isn’t enough there, the dupe doesn’t work. The maximum amount you can dupe at once is 4 times otherwise it despawns
apparantly you can do the same trick with every item without fear of losing stuff: shield jump in the air, hold 5 of the item you want to dupe, press b and y at the same time (saving recommended first)
@@WoootYT also, i notice halve the things he says aint needed.. like it being in your last slot (just if you don't have the item near the bottom its not garanteed to always work.) just don't do it more like 5 times in a row before picking it up or you might get hit by a material despawning due to item limitations, might just be because i was in Gerudo town which is filled with shop items but still.
As far as i know the bad part about this way is that it always consumes the next item you have in stash. Should not be the same for the method i posted, but i only know it from another video

I'm tinkering with it right now trying to find a way to get anything else running off of it. I'm struggling. In theory it could be combined with the paddleboat concept to make a zero energy boat, but at that point, really who cares about that little a difference?

Ya, but it's easier to just get height up some boxes or a rock, you won't need to dmg a shield that way. And the longer you are in the air, the more you can do the closing and reopening of the menu without hitting the ground.
When duplicating you don’t need it to be last slot and item with quantity of 1 before is not needed. Just paraglide- hold 5 of anything and press B and Y at the same time. Boom! I also just do it with shield surf jump.
Oh so if you use a roller or minecart on a shield, you can skateboard past a few points =D Use this a lot in the depths whenever I don't have a Stalhorse, bike or car handy! =D (Which is surprisingly often...), also helped me in the mazes.

Still going to use the old method. This one has two major drawbacks. With the first one, you could basically be anywhere and do it. But with this one, you need to be a lot higher. The second main problem is that it is much harder with less reward. If you read my previous comment, you can see you can do it a lot simpler but with a drawback. Though this does have something good. You can dupe any item without a drawback. It just takes a lot longer.
Yea the best item to dupe with the glider one is obviously large zonaite. It gets sorted to the bottom of your inventory as far as i know, has the major added benefit of buying basically a cell per 15 of them at each forge, and no risk of item deletion.
5:35 - note you lose all items between the first selected and the duplicated item. You'd want to select something just before the diamond with a 1 quantity if possible (if you care about the other items at all).
@@InhabitantOfOddworld My mistake. The issue I noted only occurs if the item duplicated is not at the end of the items list. If it is in the middle of a list it eats the duplication quantity from the item after the duplicated item.
you can make that flying construct with a cannon with only 3 fan, much more efficient. i also attach a mirror to the top of the turret to blind archers.
I don't understand how people struggle to find the light dragon at all, it boggles my mind. First of all, unless you've done specific quests n shit, it flies really high. Like even from that main sky island you have to look way up to see it flying overhead. All you have to do is teleport to each of the sky islands in a counter clockwise manner, look around, then teleport to the next one. After just a couple teleports you'll see it, and you know its the right one because none of the others fly practically in space. Easy peasy. And after you trigger its descent to the height of all the other dragons, just teleport to all the sky towers in a counter clockwise direction and launch up. You'll see it at one of them. Takes just a couple minutes to find it whenever you want.
@8:00 Yea... I encountered that grove.. without light roots and with only the small light plants in my inventory... on foot... I made the mistake of not running back the way I came and went deeper into the grove as well.. that was a mess and a half.
That infinite battery hack with recall is neat, only thing for me is once you’ve maxed out your battery, things don’t tend to last as long as your battery life, everything and I mean everything ends up disappearing before the battery life runs out lol it’s like the developers added all that battery life for multiple or complex builds using more zonai devices

If you have two objects you can stand on, use ultra hand on one to move it, then use recall Stand on the recall object and ultra hand the other object. You can very quickly keep using recall to further move along using ultra. Best part is the amount of speed starts to also get ridiculous real quick

I don't know if it was patched, or if it just never worked in the first place, but rechargeable batteries from shrines CANNOT power player made devices. could be that you need that weird copper plate thing he's got under his batteries, but I've so far been unable to find any that can be taken out of shrines; all the ones I've seen cannot be grabbed with ultra hand or fused.

If you drop all the items in a specific stack on the ground and then pick them up. They will become the last item in your list. So you can dupe any item you want. Beware though items start despawning at a certain limit. Not sure what it is but its between 20-25. Hope that helps
I wanted to point out you can make any item your last item, just hold them and drop them all on the ground and pick them back up, when a new item you don't have enters your inventory it occupies the last slot until you sort it so just don't sort it

Items in the middle of the inventory are difficult though, since the only easy way to get them last in the list is to drop them all then pick them back up... and the game only allows 21 items on the ground at once. So that puts the max at 25 for most items. I'm tempted to drop everything after the large zonaite, then dupe it a ton of times to max out my battery, and then farm up a bit on the items I had to sacrifice. A big battery means more fun with contraptions.

The first guy in the video that used recall I had to do the same thing but I stopped mine on the way up than stopped recall jumped on than let it go up at the exact same part as well
the rechargeable batteries from from a shring "the power of water" in the zora domain, the motor come from the gimimik shrine in akala (on the spiral) there is a significant delay between the charge and discharge of the batteries, that's why they are rotating, was working on a version 2.0 that has the shock emitter and charge catch rotating and the batteries stationary, it would likely spin faster, though that might impact its charging capability. in the video you can see only two batteries were charging because the other two were too far back, i moved them forward and all 4 charge, it produces much more than it consumes.
I was watching somebody else’s video and they were saying the cannon only do about 12hp, but the explosion does look cool. It looks like way more damage but I guess not.

There's also a new quick traversal method in the underground by using the Yiga's contraptions and gmod "prop surfing" them with the ultrahand.

I’m interested in exploring that shock emitter recharge power cheese with some sort of flying war barge, or a ground tank at least.

Probably also deals some collision and knockback damage as it flings the enemies around. Also lights them on fire for a bit more damage.
do they just see link floating in the air with wheels since normal hylians can't see koroks
