Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.
-Tesla's FSD system is classified as a level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is not fully autonomous and I remain in control at all times. There is nothing illegal or concerning about my operation of FSD on Rideshare Drives.
-I am legally protected to record inside my own personal vehicle while on the job and do attain consent for individuals fully featured in my videos. The rest are blurred out with identifiers censored or cut from the videos entirely.

This could end up being a good thing. We just moved from an old house to a new apartment because of loud and rude neighbors upstairs. However, we really enjoy the new place and its convenient location and amenities. Without this incident, we wouldn't have been motivated to move to a better place.
Wow, that's a spicey rent. I had two apartments at the same time for half that price, and one of them is 94 square meters.
I am looking forward to having a garage and home charging. Not to mention AC haha.
We're former Californians now loving life in Clermont, Florida. You might want to look at this area while you're looking for a new place to call home.
That is a nice area. I’m picking a region that sort of puts me in the middle between family and good friends and in a space where I can hopefully have more open space and land. I’m excited.

It's been awesome to bring these views to the locals. It's been quite the chapter.
Born and raised in SoCal and left in 1990 joining the Navy and ended up in Virginia. Been there ever since and love it but am moving to Florida in 2 years once my daughter graduates college between Tampa and Orlando myself mostly because I love the amusement parks. Moving sucks but I think overall you will be happier. Sometimes we just need that extra push to do the things we want to do.

It'll be interesting. Mew is going to be up on a trailer behind a big U-Haul basically. The model Y will be on the road and should be just fine since we did a road trip with it to Florida last November. I plan to document the move and make some content around the experience and costs.
Going to miss watching you drive "The Gauntlet". You'll have to find a new gauntlet once you get settled out there. California's loss, but YOUR gain. 'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.' How can moving out of a dilapidated 700sqft shack be anything other than good news? Seriously? I moved from San Diego after living there for 6 years. I rented 5 different places ranging from $2500 to $5000 per month. All of them didn’t have AC, except one. Recently moved to Vegas in a brand new apartment with resort-like amenities for less than $2000. CA was taking way too much state taxes to justify it. Will consider moving back to CA once I no longer am making active income.
You testing FSD in a different place, outside of California, will give us really interesting insight! So good luck!

We were forced to move because Washington State went batshit crazy during Covid. Florida isn't everybody's cup of tea, but we're pretty happy in central FL. The whole "live and let live" attitude here is just better.

We are from the UK but have been every year, sometimes twice a year, to Florida for over 25 years until COVID and we are looking at going back soon. Sorry to hear about the situation! Very excited to see how/if the future data reports differ to California though. I don’t necessarily keep close track of my FSD drives but it does feel like there are way more disengagements happening here in Colorado due to the particularly insane drivers. I’ve also heard that vision-only hardware 4 (which I have on my vehicle) hasn’t surpassed hardware 3 as of yet. I was also curious which drive settings you use? Minimal lane changes, chill/avg/assertive, auto speed or fixed offset, etc.
I’m mostly on average profile as a preference. I leave the system as much authority as possible so it’s on auto speed adjustment and it performs pretty well. Of course 2020 model 3 on HW 3. Florida will likely present different challenges and some interesting data insight.
You're going to need to find a new gauntlet I guess... Excited for your change even if it's stressful, change is good.
You are totally right brotha. I'm going to have to put out a couple posts asking for some places people want to see tested in Florida or areas that may be worthy of becoming the Florida Gauntlet.

Sone advice for you check into getting a assumable morgage. Might be able to assume a va loan with a 2.5 interest rate to save you money

sam story here but with 2 kids one with fever, vomiting and stuff just yersterday in the middle of packing up, working at the same time and we will be out by the end of june. 3 month earlier than we thought. everything comes with evil eye at the same time like ketchup effect.

For the price I’m paying it’s insane… and it’s not very usable. More like 450-500 usable space. But still again for $2000 US a month… nope. Not when I’m looking at 1,500 sq ft for the same price in Florida 😮💨
