I have helped a weaver friend of mine with her booth at events, and it is one of the most thankless things I have ever done. I am a lace knitter, and people always ask me why I don't sell my work. I tell them it is not worth the headaches. One time, I was with my friend when she completely lost it. A sour woman fingered everything in the booth. Messed it all up, said it was too expensive and s eered that she could probably make it all for a quarter of what we were selling it for. My friend glared at her, and snarled between her teerh, "Then go to college for six years, get a masters in fine arts, buy a $2000 loom, spend years learning to weave and design and sew garments, and. do. it." The next woman spent $200.
I like this vids cause I wanna start doing events and hearing people talking about the bad side of it helps me relieve my anxiety about it because if I know what can happen I can be prepared
I'd love to see a video where you both talk about what you use for different setups and why Your hubby mentioned the spiral stand being better than the grid wall setup About the weight of an individual display being ok for you to handle if he is away You both hold great information that I'd love to hear about
Just wanted to let you know that I LOVE your Seahorse pattern. I’ve crocheted 15 of them for my Market tomorrow. Working on sunflowers, carnations, bubble bees, and turtles!!!! Enjoy your videos!!!
lol Benjamin may understand this more than you Sarah, but going out to the field I ALWAYS had stuff that was NEVER needed lol, or when you needed something people came to me especially when it came to feminine hygiene products. or food/drinks xD (idk how the Coasties do it vs us Army folks haha)
Well since the pupper asked so nicely I will leave a comment 😂 I can totally relate when you got excited about the mini van reference and your husband didn’t even watch the video, I send my husband dumb videos all the time that he doesn’t watch 😤
Hahahaha normally he’s the one sending me dumb videos and I don’t watch them which is why that one was sooooo frustrating. I had to go back and find it!!!
i love your video it so happy you post a videos i would take the weather over Texas heat it was 111. It is very hot in Texas I wish it would rain to help it cool off. another great video.
@@WitchyBishy for this particular event they already sent out a form asking for feedback where I said everything I said in the video. Nothing I say in the video is bad mouthing or nasty. It doesn’t name the event, coordinator, or location. Just because I have an opinion, doesn’t mean it’s wrong or that I can’t share it.
I come to see what sold the best or the most of, or if they made enough to cover the cost of their table/spot and all there is is complaining. would never subscribe

That’s why I try to recap after all of them. It’s not to bash the events. It’s so everyone can learn 💕thank you

What is Wa Wa?
It is a glorified gas station like a buccees or quick check. It’s always clean and they have good food fast. Perfect for the morning.
are you related to Helen hunt because u resemble her alot.
I am not but thank you for the compliment
Every one of these I see they are complaining. I can't get an event and these guys talk bad and still get events booked.
I put these videos out to help people and in this instance learn from my mistakes made at this show.
@@crochetvision well I hope coordinators don't catch wind of the things y'all say in these videos.

1000% agree. It’s exhausting. Say your peace and move on.
