      I can't believe people still smoke pot for fun at that age. Even at 38, i just use it medicinally, like microdose maybe a few puffs a day, never try to get high. I used to get super high every day, and still would if it appealed to me, but it just doesn't feel the same to get high anymore. I never really consciously quit drinking or even hard drugs either, I just stopped liking it. Nothing to do with health or responsibility, just the urge went away.

I had to stop last year so I could pass a drug test for an internship. It's the end of an era. I have been watching this podcast for a few years and it's good to see the evolution of the pair, something that many others don't do. This looks like Joey's and Lee's biggest step so far and I get some may be upset but I think this is in a good direction. Smoking weed is great but doing it to their levels especially with the edibles is crazy so I understand why after so long they wanted a change. Anyway any medicine can be overused but I feel that overall weed has helped them both, maybe now it's time to move on more or less. Personally I think the biggest shame is the end of the morning joint because honestly I don't think anything inspires me more than watching that, it literally is my source of motivation when I really need it. But luckily I still have plenty to watch, and who knows maybe theh will make a return in the future, people change. Good luck to both Joey and Lee

    You can actually get an pneumonia from not taking deep enough of a breath. If the air doesnt travel through your whole entire lung. The area in the lung that doesnt get air, will eventually produce pneumonia. I actually learned this from ABSOLUTE HISTORY, victorian women wearing corsets all day and night. Sitting down all day and shallow breathing can cause pneumonia.

    I thought I was a hero smoking 2 grams a day until my dealer decided to put some shit in my weed that felt like poison, one bong hit and I felt my heart racing, my knees shaky, my head spinning like a motherfucker not to mention the puking and diarrhea the next day, 3 weeks later I still feel like there's something wrong with me, like I'm in a constant shock, like I want to be scared, architecture of buildings looks off, listening to people planning anything makes my head spin again, thinking about what I felt that day still brings me weakness coming from my lungs.

      What did Joey lie about

    • @gxrlicjrco7257
      @gxrlicjrco7257 5 лет назад +1

      @@comp10 where do I start? In this video it's more that he is bragging about how he "evolves", One obvious lie is that dispensary owners get flower specifically for him that they don't sell and is of higher quality than anything available... it simply makes no sense to knowingly keep the best strains off of the shelves. Also the suggestion that he was taking 2000+mgs of edibles while smoking 35% thc flower from bongs. He also has a track record of much MUCH larger lies. If it was just exaggeration about weed I would have absolutely no problem with it. I do however take issue with the stories he tells about his days in Colorado, his legal issues, prison time and also mentally his entire life previous to meeting Joe Rogan. It isn't that I simply assume he's lying because some of the things are so outlandish it is the fact that police records show that he is lying about a number of things in his past including kidnapping and binges ending in people being hurt. I feel bad even saying this because I think at heart Joey is a good guy it is just difficult sometimes to appreciate him fully when I know that he is not being honest with us. I think in large part that's because he wants to be liked deep down. I think he has the need to be liked stronger than most people although we do all do this to a degree. My largest concern oddly enough is his relationship with Joe Rogan. He truly idolizes Joe and put him on a pedestal. Joe isn't the worst guy to look up to and I see that Joey Diaz is making strides to becoming healthier which is great but he exaggerated to a great degree just how much effort he is putting into is jiu-jitsu and weight training, kettlebells Etc. I get it he does it mostly because he wants people to like him he's older than the crowd he's around and he doesn't want to feel like the old man so he has to have outlandish stories and show effort above and beyond to be the cool stoner and athlete that he sees Joe looking up to. He is genuinely hilarious and I think that he has no need to lie about things because he has great talent and shouldn't need his ego stroked by people like Rogan. Hollywood creates a lot of weird Dynamics in relationships so that's hard for me to speak on the topic with only limited knowledge. I'm sorry to have rambled and I want to reiterate that I do like Joey Diaz I think Coco is hilarious and a true Talent and he has the right to embellish and exaggerate all he pleases I just don't feel it's necessary.

    I started smoking at 20 and mostly gave it up at 25. Way too many panic attacks, I kept it up because I wanted to hang out with my friends and it took a mental toll on me. It took awhile after for us to learn that we could still hang out together without me getting high. It's a little annoying sometimes when one of them is like "oh I'll get you high again" and kept trying to pass to me when smoking even after turning him down every time after several months. Yes, it's nice of him to offer, I get that, but I finally just had to tell him to knock it off, and if I wanted to get high again I would let him know. I have taken small hits here and there in private just test the waters and I don't know. My mind just senses the weed and immediately jumps to panic mood, but since it's small hit the high passes quickly and it's okay. I love my friends but I worry about them sometimes. Recently one of them was like "yeah I was so mad at work I was rude with a customer, so I went to my car for a bowl to chill" and I was like that isn't normal... Or another telling me it's annoying how much weed they go through every week and I suggested a tolerance break. "Yeah I should..." with no follow through. Life goes on with or without weed, if you find you are no longer enjoying it, take a break and figure out why you were smoking in the first place and see if it still fits into your life.
