Your vagal brake is the regulator that unconsciously moves you between the calming states of "safety and connection" and the protective states of "fight and flight." In this session, you'll learn how to tune into and influence this balancing mechanism through gentle movement, breathing, and focused somatic awareness.
    About "Befriending Your Nervous System":
What if you could harness the same mechanisms that cause fear and panic to instead summon peace and spaciousness? In this highly recommended audio program, trauma healing and Polyvagal Theory expert Deb Dana guides you gently through essential principles and exercises to engage your body's unconscious nervous system to nurture healing, embodied well-being, and lifelong resilience.

@@brandonshepherd5751Thank you! I know that's the official concept that Deb Dana has always used. But I wonder why they put "break" on the title page. I know it's minor, but I wondered if this was a play on words (intentional) or an error.
