The Subbuteo World Cup 2024

Over 300 players from 15 nations gathered for the Subbuteo World Cup. It has all the drama, passion, and excitement of the real deal, with one minor difference: the players are one-inch-high plastic figures, flicked across a bit of felt by fully grown adults in two 15-minute halves. And mercifully, there’s no VAR to ruin the fun.
Subbuteo was devised by former RAF man Peter Adolph in 1947, in the village of Langton Green on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.
