What are you guys talking about? World cup does not grant military service exemption. Only matches that does provide military exemption are Asian games and Olympics. This law was made back in 60's when SK wasn't known to the world so the government wanted to promote SK to the world. This law is so outdated and needs to be updated.

This law was made back in 60's when SK wasn't known to the world so the government wanted to promote SK to the world. This law is so outdated and needs to be updated.
