You have such a beautiful family. God has richly blessed you. Keep following Him, His teachings are the only ones we all should listen to. God bless you and your family. 🙏🙏🙏❤

I was introduced to Jesus by my parents, but I didn't go on my own personal journey with Jesus until 4 years ago when my spirit felt compelled by God to either leave a destructive and disturbing relationship I was in and follow Him, or choose to stay in it. I chose Jesus.
I've been imperfectly following Him since then, but He has blessed me greatly and gave me a husband who encourages me to mature in my faith and continue walking in submission to Christ every day. It was, and will forever be, the best decision I've ever made 😊

I read an amazing quote this week. It's from mother Teresa. It said; if you want to change the world, go home and love your family. As we love and serve our husband's and kids we send them I to the world rooted and grounded in love and character. It's truly a ministry. It encouraged me, so I wanted to share. C

First off, as a mom of 4 young kids as well, this video was so real. ❤ thank you for this normalcy!!
I was raised in the church (southern Baptist) but never connected with it. I viewed it as my mom’s “over the top” religion and it took me a long time, a lot of hard lessons, to begin my own journey. I started with small steps! Going to a local church regularly and getting involved. Next thing you know, I’m finding you and other Godly homemakers, reading my Bible regularly and making God first in my life. My family never gave up on me and God’s grace is everything! I’m still learning but I’m not (and never will be) alone!

I was baptized when I was around 4. My parents were more cafeteria Catholics, so most of my catechesis came from school.
There were a few events God used to draw me closer to Him, starting when I was 18, that led me to really explore and learn about my faith. I think when I was 32 was when He really broke me and I started the deep dive into my faith and never looked back. The Real Presence can be so very healing.

The short version of my testimony is that I came to know Jesus initially as a younger child because of the pastor coming knocking on our door and inviting us to ride the bus to church on Sundays. Me and my brother were then the influencers who got my mom to come to know Jesus. Unfortunately, I did walk away from the Lord for many years due to mistreatment within the church, but myself and my husband came back to Jesus almost 20 years ago. We both finally saw that serving Jesus wasn’t about rules and punishments, but about an intimate relationship with Jesus. As I sought what God had to say in His Word and applied it to my life, I found a peace and fulfillment like I’d never known before.

Don't be sorry about all the noise. It adds to the video and makes it so much more relatable! lol! Sometimes people see someone with your lifestyle and think that it is all quiet & roses and, then, when they try to have a similar lifestyle, they are discouraged that their life isn't as pristine. You are perfectly demonstrating the chaos that can come with being a homemaker/homeschooler. I love that!

I started going to Sunday school with my cousin when I was two, and learned all about Jesus. I didn't know him, and I wasn't a christian just because I went to church. When I was 13, I came face to face with my sin and complete helplessness to do anything to be right for heaven. I realized only one thing could make me fit and ready- God's gift of the holy, pure blood of Jesus. I accepted his sacrifice for me, and I am his. My name is engraved on his palm and written in the Lamb's book of life.
I guess that Jesus introduced himself to me 😊

My grandparents introduced me to Jesus. ❤ My parents never went to church until I was a teenager. When I was little, I spent summers with my grandparents and they always took me to church and I would get to sing with my grandpa. He was a wonderful singer! Those are some of my very favorite childhood memories. I’m 41 now and still sing at church every Sunday and was made music director at my small church this past year. My 13 year old daughter sings with our group and it’s such a blessing to get to create those memories with her that I had with my grandpa. ❤ I know this is past the giveaway deadline, but I wanted to share anyway. Hi Kelsey - I have been watching your videos over the last year and I find them to be so inspiring. I also love that you have a normal kitchen, so many of the other homemaker/homesteader content that I follow is that of those who have beautifully updated kitchens and they must have walk in pantries as I never see their appliances on the counter LOL. I grew up in California in a very New Age environment, believing that we (human beings) are our own gods and that Heaven and Hell are states of mind. My husband and I weren't saved until we started going to Church (quite randomly) 3 years ago; a neighbor had invited us although Jesus had already laid the idea on my heart. We were baptized 2 years ago (in the Florida ocean) as we have both accepted Christ as our savior. We have 4 kiddos, similar ages to yours - 16 months, 3 years old, 5 years old and 7 years old. The Lord has truly blessed us. Thank you for your ministry.

    Hi Kelsey.
I’m your neighbor-I live in Minnesota.
I’ve always been a believer ever since I could remember-but shortly after I became a mom of 2-I stumbled on a few videos on Facebook about Jesus-I consider myself more of a follower now-but I’m still trying to die to myself…
I would consider my homemaking to be like Martha from the Bible-I have no problem cooking and doing housework-but I struggle with relationships…I think it might be because I came from a broken home-it makes knowing what to do as an emotionally available mother very hard…😢
I like your channel because of your knowledge of scripture and you how you fallow God and I wish I could hear him too because I don’t know what to do most days…maybe he is and I just don’t know it..?
I’ve been thinking about homeschooling too-I do like teaching, but like I mentioned making the time and connection with my kids is for some reason hard for me…

This was very beautiful. I bet you hear Him more than you realize. You most likely choose to do or say or not do and say certain things because of Him, and relate Him words and message without even realizing it. Don't give up on the relationship. It is very difficult at times when one would think it would be natural. Just keep praying about it specifically, and be intentional with your children even when you don't want to be. Wanting to play with my kids is a big struggle for me at times, but I know it helps my relationship immensely. Even just listening and talking uninterrupted. You got this!

I just finished reading all the gospels a couple weeks ago, it took me a year but I did it! That was my first time reading them. And I actually agree with you, John is my favorite one too. It moved me to tears and just felt so powerful and emotional in a couple places. When I was in college it was something my philosophy teacher said to us one day that hit me about believing is right. Also mixed with a realization I had after doing a weekly private Bible study with another student (she was a senior and I was a freshman back in 2007!) that I needed to go back to my childhood belief in Jesus because in my heart as a child I knew Jesus was true after learning about him at a friend’s house when I was in either Kindergarten or 1st grade. 🕊️ ❤. When I was around 12 I started getting really into astronomy and used to question things. But you know, there are so many things that cannot be explained, that’s where God and faith comes in. 😌🙏
Thank you for all you do Kelsey! You are doing wondrous beautiful work here on Earth and each video is a blessing 😊

I enjoyed learning about you so much and love that you kept in the realities of what life is like for you! That is wonderful to see how your children are enjoying life.
It is important to learn about God for yourself and to search the scriptures as you did.
It is wonderful that you knew your husband throughout your life since you were little!! That is so cool! I met my husband in high school and we each had about 80 kids in our grades, which is small around here (most schools have about 200 kids per grade).
Outdoor activities and schooling together is so worth it. I homeschooled my two oldest for the majority of their lives (wish I never stopped but that is a story in itself). I am glad you homeschool. I'll be homeschooling my baby. It is the best!
You quoted some of my favorite verses (Love your neighbor as yourself is one of them especially).
What a cool lady you are! I agree wholeheartedly with you on homemaking!!
You are allowed to say which perspective of the gospel is your favorite. John was basically Jesus' best friend, so that would probably be the best one anyway! haha. I never thought about which is my favorite.
I was raised in a Christian home, however, I had a major miracle where Jesus healed my deafness in a dream, so really, I came to know Jesus through meeting him face to face when I was 4 and he touched my ears!
I only have a little over 300 subscribers, but I never really do much to promote it and need to be more consistent. I'm working on it. You have 23.7k subscribers. What a great thing, since so many are learning about God through your channel.

I was born and raised catholic. But it was a more "laxed" (lukewarm?) Catholicism. It wasn't until about 5 years ago that our catholic community invited all stay at home mom's (and anyone else who could make it in the middle of the day) to a bible study. We connected and started getting together for different things and shared our faith and learned so much from every one of the ladies in there. They were the ones who inspired and motivated me to learn more about the catholic church and all its history, traditional, stances on different worldly topics, etc.
Thanks for all the wonderful videos you post and for all the valuable information that we can get as christians, but especially for all the people who may not have heard of Jesús (or haven't been opened to Him) because your content is spot on (in my opinion)

Both my grandmothers were huge influences in my Christian upbringing. However, probably my Sunday school teacher, Ruth And, my Missionettes leader, Ima, we’re the biggest influences in my Christian development an early age. The Lord has always surrounded me with people who would speak into my life, even when my parents weren’t serving the Lord. And I’m happy to say that since I was a child, for as long as I can remember, it’s been me and Jesus. He is my Lord and Savior now and forever. Kelsey, I so enjoy your channel and find encouragement in it. I’m going through a season of loss right now, and your videos are full of joy and hope from start to finish… and I love seeing you interact with your children and the patience you display. I know none of us are perfect, but dealing with our children in a kind and loving way is essential to raising children who love the Lord and you’re modeling that. Continue on my faithful sister in Christ .❤

Kelsey, first of all I want you to know I was not bothered by the noise, your children, the lawnmower, etc. I feel like I know you a little better and respect you more for all you have going on in your life yet you still commit a good amount of time to the Lord.
I was raised Catholic but didn't really know the Lord until my son, at 19 had to spend some time in prison. While there he made a new commitment and surrendered to the Lord and now lives his life for the Lord. He did a lot of bible study during his time and made it known to me how important it is to read the bible to TRULY know the Lord. He is also now happily married and has 3 children.

I have had many people during my journey, but when I was 16 I really began searching for truth. I “found” Jesus at 17 from a Bible study group my sister was having. The rest of my journey I have continued to seek Christ in my life during 41 years of marriage, 6 children, 2 miscarriages, homeschooling for 33 years, and coming into the Catholic Church 15 years ago. So many people during those years but a short list would be my husband, my children, Mother Angelica, Scott Hahn’s books (especially Rome Sweet Home), many other authors and my two best friends I met after coming into the Church but who continue to inspire me on this journey to always keep growing closer Christ.

As a child, I grew up not going to church very often. Jesus wasn’t talked about much in my household and I remember my parents having a green Bible that set up on a shelf that we never used. However, my grandma has always had a strong relationship with The Lord. I remember spending the night at her house and she would always have her Bible out studying the scriptures. I always admired her devotion to The Lord not really understanding or knowing what that truly meant to have a relationship with Jesus. It wasn’t until I met my husband and he introduce me to what it means to have a relationship with Jesus versus just going to church and checking off a box of what a Christian is suppose to do. He taught me the love of the Father and that’s when my life was transformed. I’m continuing to grow and learn more about what it means to be fully loved by God and in turn giving him my praise and living in obedience to His voice.

My mother introduced me to Jesus as a child. She and my grandmother were beautiful, loving, giving, Christian women that also taught me how to grow our own food & live a somewhat simpler life. I'm currently being mentored for local ministry in low income housing projects and prison ministry, so I would say that there are many other brothers & sisters in Christ introducing me to a much deeper and stronger relationship with Jesus and teaching me how to utilize my Spiritual gifts, that is mind blowing some days 🤯 (in the most amazing way) ❤

My children 'introduced me to Jesus', as babies. I was raised Catholic by a non believing family. We went to church weekly & that was IT. No one ever talked about God or Jesus at home. I went away from the faith, claiming to be an atheist for quite some years. I found myself pregnant out of wedlock & my whole 'Catholic' family disowned me. I stayed with my boyfriend, got married after her birth, and we have been married for 20 years in Oct. Once I knew i was going to have a baby, I got moved to go back to church - even tho that meant humiliation and gossip, as I went back to my small town Catholic church (like 40-50 members). I never had any $ to give as a tithe (my husband struggles with the catholic church, we didn't have much $ & he would not agree to donate). So, I made a promise to God that I would dedicate my children to him as I had nothing else to give. (even now, I only have 'egg money' to donate to church LOL) Once I held my daughter in my arms, I KNEW there was a God & that he was a loving God. As soon as I could drive after my deliveries we went back to church & so they have been in God's house since before they can even remember. I made sure to teach my kids about Jesus, to go to church with a loving spirit, to donate our time, to find Joy in the Lord & all his creation. They constantly inspire me to grow in my faith because I want them to do the same. BTW - my family came back around & ended up being an awesome part of my girls' lives, even tho they are not strong on the whole faith thing. We didn't end up ostracized forever! And actually, NO ONE in church treated me with anything but kindness (except for one elderly lady that had a problem with me chewing gum, which I did because I suffered horrible morning sickness. I kindly told her that, at the moment, I was an unwed mother & had bigger sins than chewing gum during mass LOL). Even our priest was loving towards the situation & helped us get on the right path.
Don't worry about the NOISE - it is life. yahoo to the HOGS, Kelsey. Just got my piglets last week!!!! They are so fun to raise. piglets, meat chicks, incubator is running with 36 laying chicks - we're like a Tractor Supply. Our family totally thinks we are 'off', even tho I WAS raised on a dairy farm and my husband grew up working on a neighbor's farm. I find that a lot of farming families have been led to believe that their kids would be better off leaving the farm. So they can't understand our desire to 'chain ourselves to the farm' when there are so many other opportunities out there. no one understood our homeschooling. no one understands our strong faith - they are disdainful. We just carry on.
We let our kids pick ONE extra curricular each, that was doable & good exposure to friends/taking direction from other adults. I don't listen to any criticism from anyone who is not currently living the lifestyle that I am living. If it is another homemaker & they offer constructive criticism then I might listen - cuz they might have helpful info. But for a working mom to criticize me or a man who works in the world??? no way, what profitable advice could they have to offer me😆 Likewise, I would not listen to critiques on my faith from someone who has none. I have been living this vocation for 20 years & let me tell you, Kelsey, you have set me on FIRE !!!! Your videos are a great encouragement for me - to follow God, to do my best, to do things in an intentional & loving manner. I have always tried to do it that way, but "iron sharpens iron".
You were WISE to submit to your husband, to stay home & do so to honor your husband & for your children's benefit. And don't worry about the curriculum thing! You can always 'go back to it' when they outgrow school. I am finding that even tho my last girl graduates next year, I have a whole crop of younger women starting homeschool. I have held free seminars to help people get started & learn about the state paperwork. I answer emails, phone calls & letters about homeschooling. I have even started to put 'packets' together for the kids & sending them 'secretly' in the mail ( I am the alphabet fairy to some & the Nature fairy to another - sending worksheets, homemade flashcards & projects in the mail to them) for a fun/exciting surprise each week. So you never know what God has in store for you!!!! You might have more time when you have grandkids to develop all of these ideas & still be benefiting your family. Flap, Flap, Flap😁

Growing up the influence I had was my family. But a big part was going to a catholic church and school. We had nuns who taught us and I fell in love with their way of living. Visited them often (it was only a block from my house. But as I grew and met my husband things changed and not for the better (even though he believes in God) He would say I was a prude and would be very hard on me for the way I looked. I was skinny and flat chested. Which made me think I was not worth much. I felt I had to conform to the world which made me very unhappy. So I hid my feelings. I always wanted a Christ centered life ,but felt I was lacking. Now after I have been married over 50 years I want the life I feel is the best for me now at 70 I am trying to get my life to what God would approve of. Thank you for your videos wish you would have been around when I was young and maybe it would have spared me a broken heart.😢

I was named after my great aunt who was a nun. My dad's family was surrounded by her nun friends when they were kids. She would bring them out on the weekends to the family farm she grew up on. They have a lot of fun/funny stories & talk about how joyful these ladies were. My aunt taught the Mother Superior how to make a slinky go down the long staircase in the Abbey. I am fascinated by their way of life. I have struggled with areas of faith in my marriage too. My husband was raised Catholic, in the same church as me. But he has taken a more & more hostile view of it as the years have gone by. He, too, believes in God, but I am unsure if he believes in Jesus Christ as his savior. I do spend a fair amount of time worrying about the state of his soul & what will happen to him when he dies. I never felt like I fit in either, and also was often called prudish/uppity/uptight. I just consider myself proper. That is the word I like to associate with myself. Proper. I don't want to conform to the world & I like propriety in dress, actions, treatment of myself & others. I lived the 'other ways', conforming to the world & all it did was get me into a 'world' of trouble! It is NEVER too late to get right with Christ. I had not even read a Bible until I was in my late 30s & now I've been through it several times & studying on it everyday. Find someone else that has that same zeal & get talking. I found me a 'God Sister' - a new neighbor next door & we spend alot of our time txting scripture back & forth & having deep spiritual discussions. Iron sharpens iron! Many blessings to you debra - I pray peace & joy over you & yours.💟✝

First off I want to say I’m very thankful to find your videos. I love that you are a Godly woman who is so in tune with your family. You are a wonderful inspiration.
I was brought up in church and was saved and baptized as a little girl. As I grew older, I became a prodigal. Much later, I really got into researching the Bible and comparing it to how the world is today. While sitting in my bed studying, God pulled me back in close to Him. I have been convicted and have repented of so much. My whole life has changed and I only want to grow closer and do better for God.
Most every morning while having my coffee, I’ll pray that the first video on my RUclips list will be the one the Lord wants me to hear. It has been your’s lots of times now. I’m praising Him for helping me find you 🙌🙌 Sending you much love, Amy

I always had Jesus in my life for sure. Looking back, there wasn't a time without him. Even when I was abused and in very dark times, God was there to take me out of it. I however wasn't a Christian. I went as far as to say I didn't like God, that he was evil, that he could never love me. I grew up in a cult type setting and the "God" I was taught about seemed.. well.. horrible, especially from a woman's standing. In 8th grade (13 years old) I met my (now) husband (he was in 9th grade, 15 years old). He was a quiet guy, he wouldn't even look at me because if he did he'd blush (his words, not mine). We only talked about two things. Batman and Jesus. I was adamant that I hated God and didn't care what he had to say. Well every day on the bus ride home we would talk. If I didn't think he was the most kind and handsome man I'd ever met I would have probably walked away. But I didn't. He invited me to his church and I said yes, not to be with God but to spend more time with him 😂. Eventually he asked me "If I give you a Bible, will you read it?" and I said "...eventually." The night he gave it to me I started in Genesis right away. Not the best move I've been told but I loved the story of creation. Of course, I didn't have the spirit in me so reading it was like reading a textbook for school. I put it down and didn't read it again for a few years. I moved away after that school year but we kept in touch for 4 years until I was 18. He came to visit me (an 8 hour drive y'all, we hadn't even confessed our feelings yet. We were so dumb). He read the Bible to me and prayed over me to understand it and accept God. It worked. I could feel God and for the first time I didn't push him away. I didn't think I could be loved. I already was. I didn't think I could be forgiven, causing me to rebel and sin out of spite. That price had already been paid. I thought I'd be alone forever. We got married a year after that. So who introduced me to God? Well, my husband. The best person in my life. I'm so grateful for him. ❤
