Lydia, I’m a child development specialist and educator. You are both doing a super job, and did from the beginning. It’s sad that a person who didn’t take the time to investigate and find out truth before opening her mouth did that to your family, and shame on all her minions who also failed to do their homework before attacking new parents. It sounds very much like an attention seeking. SMH

Oh Lydia!!! Girl, no one is a perfect parent and God does not send an instruction manual for these little blessings! Everything is trial and error and life is messy. In the end,though, kids are such a joy and a true blessing. Don't listen to the haters! You and Trace are doing amazing and little Ryker is so cute!

My most useful saying is, "What other people think of me is none of my business." It's just an opinion and everybody has one. It speaks more about THEM than about you. When I took that onboard, I no longer cared what other people said about me, because they did not reflect who I am, only who they are. They are cowards who would not say to your face what they type online. You're good people, great parents, and it shows!
Personally I don’t think it mattered how you worded it. Some horrible person reads a few sentences and then thinks they know your whole life. This person had zero knowledge about you and your family’s life but felt qualified to give opinions. That not only makes me angry it also makes me very sad. Sometimes people can be so ignorant and ugly. God was and always is on your side, and He is always there to help us navigate through the hard times. You have a beautiful heart and a beautiful family. I honestly feel that there are some people who are broken somewhere inside so they want others to feel the same as them. Please stay happy,healthy and safe and know that you are loved. Oh beloved Lydia! This video brought me to tears! 😢 I don’t like social media! But please hear this and hear it clearly, as believers we know that we live in a very broken sinful world. People are hurting immensely, and they use the keyboard to express their feelings because they would never say these things to our face! They don’t have the hope of salvation that we have! It is so hard to be a woman and we are harder on ourselves than anyone else. The pressure to be a perfect mother, perfect wife, to be healthy, to be fit, to do everything because the world has told us we can have it all which is a lie from the adversary! We need to straighten each other 👑 when they’re falling down! We need to encourage and edify and applaud each other! A lot of times when I’m in the store and I see a mama in the store struggling; I say to her mama; you’re doing a great job! And every single time I say that she says thank you so much you have no idea what that means to me! Lydia, all those hateful comments that you were getting are from the enemy! You are a fantastic mother! Trace and you need to raise your baby the way you feel is best! I signed the petition for you and your families deportation and I will continue to support your family in anyway I can! The Bible tells us to pray for our enemies! I do not watch her videos and I feel sorry for her because clearly she doesn’t know God and doesn’t have a personal relationship with Him! Lydia it’s absolutely massive what you went through, pregnancy with a little baby that you thought may have had restricted growth, plus your families deportation, and all of it looming over head while you just want to celebrate a little life.

There is no blocking Woacb.. she has many sock accounts and she isn't above making new ones daily in order to sneak in somewhere that she isn't wanted. She doesn't do well with even the slightest form of rejection, and she obsesses over getting revenge, so while it IS best to avoid her at all costs, it's also very difficult

You're both wonderful. My mom and dad stayed with my grandma the first week of my life cuts my mom was afraid to take care of me by herself. That's what family is for.
I stayed with my parents for the first 3weeks of my daughter's life, just for reassurance and to have backup while I was learning how to be a mother.. it's really not an uncommon thing to do, at all

This infuriates me! I wish I had known and could have least encouraged you. You did/are doing an excellent job! Ryker is such a beautiful boy and you both obviously love him very much. I'm so sorry you went through that. I am a great grandmother (I can't believe how fast that happened) and when my first baby was born we were nowhere near family, but my mother and grandmother drove hundreds of miles to come help me for awhile. I was only 18 and my husband was in the Army in Washington DC. I didn't even have friends. I am just so thankful you share your beautiful life with us. I am humbled and encouraged by such wonderful young parents. God bless you and prayers that you will have your rainbow baby very soon!

Many new parents hire baby nurses to stay with them to assist with care for the baby, so if one is fortunate to have family to help - that’s awesome! That is soooo awful Lydia! I'm very sorry to hear how bad it was. I know who that influencer is - she needs to worry about how she's raising her own kid and mind her own business. I was shocked when I heard what she was saying about you - I didn't know she said for people to call CPS. I am glad you had so much support. You are a terrific mom - he is so alert. I can’t imagine having my first baby literally on blast! People can be so awful. My mother gave me some very sound advice after I gave birth. I asked her how do I do it. How can I do all the things, all the time. I’m so tired! She said you do “whatever works”! I’m so sorry you were robbed of this experience that should have been peaceful. Motherhood is HARD!!! If you need extra hands…take advantage of the love! You are doing perfect momma! Don’t let anyone tell you different! ❤
Lydia so sorry that happened to you, you seem like the most sweetest, kindhearted person. Some people will say that it comes with putting your life out there, but many fail to realize that the only one that should judge us is God!

I had mine before social media…. I think people don’t realize anymore that you don’t owe anyone a play by play of your daily life. I can’t imagine posting everything for everyone. I was in another world and didn’t care about anything but my baby. I lost track of even what day it was. You DONT OWE ANYONE ANY INFORMATION about your life!! Us here that are here every week are just thankful for what you choose to share that brightens our day❤
My heart was breaking, hearing about the horrible things that a few were saying and spreading about you all and Ryker. I love you both, and celebrate your family and your faith. I’m a mom of six and there are so many haters out there and people who think they know better than anyone else , or their way is the only way ! My advice to new moms is always to enjoy and embrace all those precious newborn moments even though they are usually very challenging, ask questions from people who you trust and admire the way the have raised there babies but ultimately I always say trust your motherly instincts because you are really the only one who knows what’s best for your child specific needs and grant your self grace , no matter how many children you have you are always learning new things and new ways to parent. You guys are amazing!l You love for each other and your baby is so evident! I have also had 2 miscarriages they are so hard but you are not alone. I hope you are blessed with a rainbow baby when end you are ready ❤

Aww. So sorry you had to deal with such bad grief from negative people who felt it was necessary to be so ignorant to say such horrible things. A new parent(s) are learning how to navigate everything! It’s. Learning experience, your world is essentially turned upside down for a bit and that’s bad enough. I sure hope those picture perfect people got the feeling that they wanted from them harassing y’all. When people talk bad like that I was always told it’s them that has problems and we are supposed to pray for them. That sounds so weird but it’s true. Thanks for sharing your experience. i am a RN nurse, just rinse the pump parts and stick in frig when busy, the cold slows bacteria growth, please ignore the haters. You are doing a great job, you both are wonderful parents.

I'm so sorry you went through that. There are cruel jerks out in the world. Stay strong and don't let them define you. When i had my baby years ago. I was a wreck the 1st month plus I was a single mother. I thank God for my parents and the support system I received from them. You are surrounded with so much love and support from family and friends. There is also a great community out there supporting and praying for you.❤

Ryker is absolutely beautiful and people who don’t have anything going on in their lives are jealous. I’m on my 60’s and I’ve learned to ignore those people, it’s not worth the stress or time. Love your little family.

Such a happy hard time with your first baby, and I didn’t have social media 42 years ago for advice,, thank goodness! I still remember how difficult it was to nurse, and the lack of sleep made me weepy all the time, although I loved my baby so much and felt so blessed. I still remember the wonderful smells coming out of the kitchen from my Mother’s wonderful cooking and nourishment; homemade soup and homemade bread! I can’t imagine how I would have survived without Mom’s help. Just to have her there and get her help and advice with my first was so helpful! Plus the encouragement that I was ok and things would be fine. My Mom had ten children, so she knew how important help was that first week home. Besides, I was in hard labor for three days and had an almost 9 lb 23 inch huge baby boy. You two are wonderful and are doing an amazing job with your son! This world.is full of kind people, but unfortunately, some are not so kind and judgmental!
