- We are Mind, the mental health charity. We won't give up until everyone experiencing mental health problems gets both support and respect. In this video you can find out more about who we are and what we do, including some words from our President, Stephen Fry.
I don't like in the UK and can't access Mind (unfortunately), but we have something similar in my country. It has helped me immensely! To be able to talk to other people, without barriers, and know they don't get scared or judge me, it's so FREEING! I am living with chronic mental illness, but I have this organization and I have friends there. It's SO good for my health!
Depression really does my head in.
I live in the US but your organization really does sound wonderful. I'm lucky to have some support in my life but I find myself longing for people who have shared my experiences.

Ten years ago I was in such an unfit state. I wish I had known about such a charity. Next year I have plans to raise money for Mind or a similar charity.
This is very moving video. I use mind in west Sussex and they have helped me so much in the last 18th months. I really don't think I would be here without them.

What lovely people, very inspiring.
I watched this and i felt a tear role down my cheek. I always felt that mental health was a strictly taboo subject in my culture but when i saw Rohan, I have now started to look into Mind much more. My own mental health is becoming hard to handle but since i recently watched people like Stephen supporting this, i want to do something to get back off the rock bottom and do something for others at the same time. I am truly falling in love with MIND! Thank you.

Been given no help and in my area Mental health support is literally go die in a gutter, contacted mind but they dont help no more....

Went to mind centre in Bradford was a waste of time really didn't help me at all.

I have a lot of respect for Mr Stephen Fry but the level of Homophobia and racism I faced at Bradford Mind was rife . It was perpetrated by both clients and staff alike and when I vocalised the behaviour and threats were not acceptable to management of Mind I was made to feel like the primary perpetrator rather than the primary victim . I now stay clear of the place as the devastating impact the discrimination I suffered only worsened my feelings of isolation and depression . Also the West Yorkshire police and hate crime failed to challenge and act within the law of these levels of discrimination . I am both articulate and Vocal person so if this has happened to me who knows how many other victims walked away silently and crushed by an organisation that is supposed to support and care for vulnerable people . I’ve written these comments before but evidently Mind is deleting these comments for damage limitation agenda .

I'm not totally sure i mind mental health unit help people i've recently experienced mind help and tell you now they are useless, don't waste your time using them.
Same here went and just sat there on my own with no one to talk to really waste of time didn't help me.
