You're a legend bro, thank you very much! Altough I've had to enable the HDMI Audio from NZXT HD60 and not any Stereo Option, but I got what you were saying, thanks a bunch.
PSA to Mac users looking to send from a Mac and record in OBS on a windows machine: just make sure you make a "multi-output device" in your Audio MIDI setup menu. After that, right click that device you just made and hit "use this for playback" and it'll send to your capture card and your device speakers/headphones
bro am doing it but, i have to choose the HD60 playback on my gaming pc so i can send the signal, but i need to send the signal and also listen in my headphones, what do i do?
You’ll likely need to set up a stereo output like I did. It just sends audio to your speakers (headphones) and your capture card. Ensure stereo is enabled, leave your main speakers as your headphones, and route a second input in the recording tab as your capture card. Refer to 5:14. Let me know how it goes!
@@dmar0652 at the end it has to be a double playback and investigating found and downloaded game capture hd software from el gato, and u can configure multiple playback hardware on it
@@dmar0652 This doesn't seem to work for me. i've done all the steps but i can't seem to hear the audio of playback on both devices capture card and headset. only if i make capture card default device it goes through to my streaming pc and the same for making headset default to hear audio. stereo-Mix is default with Capture card as playthrough and microphone as default communication device.
Are you sending audio from a console or a pc? If it’s console, I’m sure what the process is but if it’s pc, you’ll need to set up a stereo speaker. Basically, send audio to your headphones and to your capture card.
I have no sound from my gaming pc coming over through obs on my streaming pc. I'm using the EVGA XR1 Lite. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I have everything setup exactly the same as you

I have the same issue, furthermore when alt tabbing, my stream pc's video capture looks like something similar to screen tearing where the bottom part of the image is cut and placed on top. Need to disable and enable the video capture all the time to fix this. As for your issue (which is part of the same problem) you can fix the enlarged view by going in windows settings>display>scaling which should be on 100% by default. Click on set custom scaling, make it 100 and apply.
Thank man. Am using it to capture Ps5 on Asus g74sx laptop and I tried everything but it only works on usb2.0 port with red led and when connected to usb3.0 port shows sold led white but no feed on obs. Any fix for this issue?
Hey there… I’d try managing your PS5 display settings to make sure the capture card and monitor for PS5 are the same. Also, double check hdmi cables. HDMI in on card should be connected to ps5 out (same as a monitor). HDMI out on card should be going to your ASUS laptop. Hope this helps
Do you know if the hdmi passthrough on this capture card also includes audio? The way I'm able to have my Switch audio come through my PC headphones is to just plug in the console to my monitor and an aux cable from the monitor to the line in on my PC (since the hdmi signal from the switch also carries audio) Are you sure the USB requirement is 3.1 Gen 2 specifically? NZXT's own website on the card says 3.2 Gen 1 is required which nowadays is 5Gbps (AKA 3.0 AKA 3.1 Gen 1 AKA SuperSpeed) if I'm googling correctly
I'm having an issue with it not showing the capture card in the Stereo Mix, even though everything else is done (seemingly) in the right order. I do have the card connected to my monitor, and the sound comes out from there, but the main issue is that my monitor's sound is disabled in the sound control panel. I'm wondering what I can do for this.
My first thoughts would be that maybe you need to plug the capture card into your PC’s capture card on the back of the computer (if it has one). On the other hand, if not, just plug it into hdmi on your pc. It might also be an issue with a software update on your pc in which unfortunate case all I can suggest is to update driver settings. Not much of a fix for bad sound software from what I can tell.
Anyone have this issue with duplicated diaplays where the video capture on the streaming pc shows a weird artifact similar to screen tearing where the bottom part of the screen shows on the top. It stays like thwt until I disable and re enable the capture card video capture on the streaming pc. Its caused by running games in fullscreen with duplicated displays.

@@darknessdwarf8583 My first thought would be that maybe you’re using a mixer and need to enable one of the audio lines to send audio to your headphones. I had a similiar problem where my gaming pc was sending audio to my streaming pc, but I didn’t hear audio through my headphones. I had to activate my usb-main mix on my mixer for it to send audio to my headphones. Let me know if this works, might be something different.
Assuming you’ve already checked the show disabled devices and show disconnected devices. Otherwise, that might be more of an issue with your actual sound system on your pc. I’d try doing the same steps I did, just instead do it through the stereo tab in your playback devices list. Let me know if this works…
If I were streaming from my PS5 would I instead plug the hdmi cord into the back of the PS5 to the capture card, and then the other hdmi cord into the back of my gpu and the other end in my capture card? Edit: For anyone wondering just plug one hdmi into your monitor and the capture card, then the other hdmi cable into the capture card and the hdmi slot in your respective console. Just make sure that your USB-C slot is plugged into the righrt usb port or else it won't show up into your streaming software!
Hey, just wondering. What are you using to process the stream. I’m assuming the PS5 is what you’re gaming with. Is there another console such as a laptop or pc of some kind involved?
Honestly, im not very familiar with the console setup for this. My first thoughts would be to make sure card is plugged in via HDMI into a second output from your PS. Then configure settings to make sure you have two displays going from your PS and they’re both the same thing. Imagine your card is another monitor that you want to see the exact same thing on.
