Just wish i could get down to Oz to this amazing pairing again , being a fan of both groups , seen the minds 3 times but never seen Icehouse live , watched concerts but not the same . Wish Icehouse could get to the 🇬🇧 sometime

We really wish we could see this great tour of these 2 bands but we live in the USA. We’ve realized we’re going to have to fly 18 hours to see Icehouse, but it will be worth it!

I read a little bit about the bond that Icehouse and Simple Minds had back then in the biography. Two excellent bands and frontmen that are legends!. I never realised that if you look closely...there's like a "double" effect between Jim and Iva...not quite separated at birth but maybe souls on the same wavelength musically?. One destined for fame in Scotland and another in Australia...

I'm lucky to have seen Simple Minds in Chile and meet and greet Jim Kerr, back in '95 or so. Great talkative guy. What to say about Iva Davies and Icehouse, on my personal TOP100 since I ever heard NO PROMISESand the "Razorback" OST. Luckily, too, I could play both, Simple Minds and Icehouse as much as they deserved and having rarely ever got to be airplayed on chilean Fm radio stations, back in the mid 80's. Glad to see they all make great music till just a few days before 2023 is over. Great music never fades, nor do great songs and singers-songwriters.
