For anyone checking out this video after April 2021 this tripod is now only $185. I am actually purchasing a second one now myself. I don't know if a better quality tripod anywhere near this price point.
It was actually useful :D Thanks for the review. Looks like a fantastic little tripod. Will go and see if i can find any Aoka Gear on the German Market.
What locks are you referring to? The legs locks? They are your standard twist locks. I personally haven't taken it out in a lot of bad weather but I have used it almost daily since the review, both indoors and outside including a beach shoot, and it is holding up perfectly.
@@jvusa Oh! Yeah those are just manual locks. They are not spring loaded or anything like that. I know some folks might see that as a negative but I don't find that being an issue. I normally just pull out the legs once then I'm just adjusting the height with the twist locks from that point on.
The sad thing is that this tripod is no longer being made, at least according to my contact. It's a shame because it really was a great tripod that I still use to this day. It has held up so well.

I wish I could find one for $185 I'd buy two as well.

Thanks for that! It's actually quite a big tripod. Just got back from a client shoot today and it performed flawlessly.
Did the bowl adapter come with the one from Amazon or do you just get the standard flattop head with it?
The bowl adapter comes with it.
Not that I'm a fan of center columns but what center columns are compatible with this tripod?
Thanks for the review! What are the leg angles on this tripod ?
Thank you for the video! So helpful.
Where is it available in US?
You should be able to find on Amazon
Thanks for the review, how about the lock does it automatically lock and is it weather proof, how about the durability?

@@GeraldBertramPhotography Thanks, I am referring to the the locks near the upper disk which use to expand the 3 legs

@@GeraldBertramPhotography Thanks Gerald....
Where you can buy it? Your link to Amazon is not working. Thank you.
Unfortunately it appears they have discontinued this tripod. It's such a shame because it was an amazing tripod!
I love how cheap AliExpress tripods put the well known expensive brands to shame
