I am from the Macgregor Clan in Scotland and want to thank Donald Yates and his team for confirming exactly what the LORD has shown me (some will not believe this but it did happen through fasting and praying), that I do have a Jewish Heritage and we all have quite a mixture also. But this was important to me to see why I loved the Jews so much and why and if I heard the right voice and I did! So thank you Jewish Voice .

I am Scottish and a Messianic Gentile. I don't know about my DNA but I have always had a great love for my spiritual ancestors and all the descendants of Issac. If I had Jewish DNA I would be extremely proud. If my DNA was of the tribe of Judah....my heart would burst with joy.

Scotland has a large Jewish community based in Newton Mearns, In fact, I heard once that this place has more Jews per capita than any other place in the UK (yes, that includes London!).
Scottish Jews fly under the radar up here and that's exactly the way they like it.

When you use the word 'jewish' do you mean of israelite hebrew descent or somebody who practises 'judaism' and claims a link to Judean 'jews'?

Most Scottish men have Y chromosome DNA R1b1. If R1b1 is Jewish then the modern Jews are not Jewish.

I could believe that scotland didnt persecute jews, there is so much fighting between the christians there, which is still happening now, not to mention there is a big muslim community that lives in scotland without much persecution, the scots have a history of tolerance and liberal ideals promoting education and lawfulness mix in with a healthy dose of violence and alcohol
