Excellent!!! Trying to work this out for the first time, and I was hoping to find exactly this. Original sound? I can't compete with that, but this version will blow em away, Thanx.
Any chance you can explain the finger placement? when you say E and move it around what are you fretting? also how dl you hold that d in the 2nd part?? can anyone break it down? great video!!!
Thanks for making this. Someone showed me this when I was a teenager and for years I've thought it's probably harder than Joe and Brad intended it. First, I thought it was in F sharp minor and maybe my guitar wasn't tuned right. I listened to Godzilla (BOC) and Refugee (Tom Petty) which are both in F sharp minor. Dream On is definitely F minor. In my mind there exists the possibility that Joe or Brad played it higher up the fretboard; part of an F minor bar chord. I've had that in mind for a while and will have to pick up my guitar again sometime and try it out. But, the other option is using a capo as you have done.
pretty cool. I consider myself an advance beginner player. tried other sites with original tabs. Your way is an enjoyable way to play for me till I get good enough to use original tabs
+vibrant TR For the chorus I'm just using a standard. 1 2nd 3 4nd (D DDU D DDU) D=Down U=up for the verses I'm just picking out the notes of the chord starting on the root note (the lowest note) Hope that helps!
It’s basically just a power chord with the root on the 5th string But the 1st and 2nd strings are played open on all of the chords. So relative to capo the first part of the climb up the neck is. Asus. X02200. B X24400. C X35500. The rest of the chords are the same pattern all the way up the neck
I can't really follow without visuals.😰 but I tryd to follow..... Also you mumbled on some of the note names and I couldn't tell what you said. Like "something" 9 for example. Any ways it's really cool and something within my difficulty rating.
What if someone didn't like it Mike? What then? Do you want them to "let you know" too? Do you really want to hear from them too, buddy? Can you actually say that? Just wondering, because I myself thought it was a damn good job! Great teaching guitar type man you are...no really!
HateLoveHP The Strum is counted 1. 2 nd. 3. 4 nd. It would be said 1 2 and duh 3. 4 and duh. Strum would be. D DDU D DDU. D is down U is up. Hope that helps
Sounds very cool I will have to try it out ..Ty .

Hello guys , can some give the chord diagram of the last chord. I am unable to make out which he is using to slide down the neck

improvise. :) goo.gl/images/feu0bZ
use a pencil and an elastic. I used to do that before i bought my own capo. it works really well.
The Budget Gamer buy one man. Capos are really necessary and cheap
If you got an acoustic thingy then get a capo thingy.. They're inseparable
Dam good instructor

Sorry if you couldn't understand, The Chord you're talking about is most likely a "C add9"
I dont have this magic shit!!! :((((
Sweed kUsH your pic is ball, transgender god,
What if someone didn't like it Mike? What then? Do you want them to "let you know" too? Do you really want to hear from them too, buddy? Can you actually say that? Just wondering, because I myself thought it was a damn good job! Great teaching guitar type man you are...no really!
Daaamnnn
Am I the only one who thought he was HBK from WWE or was there anyone else? Btw this is a complement.
In the begining I think you only speak… but in the end the lesson is too mutch!! Thankyou!!!
Can't see your fingers or guitar
Prison Mike showing what he learnt in prison
Shit… where’s my capo!!!
Ritim tutan elin nerde lan
Well it wasn't easy for me
Bad arrangement, worse lesson. Mumble mumble, E then come down. Lmao
Soon as I saw a capo, I left.
You could play it without it though, it just won’t sound spot on.
Dang still too advanced for me
that's awkward
cool play, but too easy.
Still not explaining good
the intro sucks the rest is ok
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.... glad you like it
