- I’ve been trying to decide exactly what it is that I love most about sailing in remote parts of the world. Is it the rugged natural beauty? Is it the authentic people that we meet? Is it the challenge of dealing with boat problems in the middle of nowhere? How about all of the above?
We’ve been in Greece for two months now exploring the beautiful but extremely crowded Ionian Islands, but we are now saying goodbye to the hoards of other boaters and have set our course for the Southern Peloponnese. This off-the-beaten-path part of Greece is both epic and Isolated, with very few towns and even fewer tourists, and we cannot wait to dive head first into the most wild part of this ancient country.

The US infant mortality rate for the under 5s is worse than just about every country in the EU way down the list one place above China. In my younger years, mid 1980s I was backpacking through Europe and the Middle East. I’m Canadian and remember meeting many “Canadian” backpackers, Canadian flag patches on their backpacks who were actually Americans. It really brought it home for me, I feel for you and wish the world wasn’t so messed up

Rest assured that Isa has had extensive tests and is being treated by top specialists in Malta. Doctors at Boston Children's Hospital have been overseeing her care and the trip to Boston has been carefully timed with the doctors there based on her unique needs. Isa is very lucky to have Jordan and Desiree has parents. Rest assured that they have and I believe always will put her interests first.

Hi Jordan, as a Yanmar technician I urgently advice you to change all the perforated hoseclamps and change them with pressed in ones. I personally had an issue with them breaking 2 times and overheating the engine.
NO perforated hose clamps on my boat. I spent 3 whole days and lots of money replacing all those cheap clamps and building a complete replacement inventory. Agreed.

Man, I have to put this here. What is it about this girls face??? I am a dad of 6 and granddad of 6, I am a subscriber of many youtube sailing channels that have kids and babies, but this one girl catches me every time. You guys have her in the video at the most opportune moments and yes I know she isn't always like this, but that face. When she smiles, I am driven to smile from ear to ear as well. She is so enchanting with that smile that it just captivates me. What a beautiful child. I hope her medical problems never become serious and that she has a good life. Well done to both of you for producing such a child and also thanks for taking us along on your journey!

We bought our boat from a couple, he was American, she was Greek. The boat is a Tayana 37. Paul and Alex had cruised for years and had stocked the boat with all kinds of spares and provisions in all kinds of nooks a crannies in the boat. We are still finding hidden treasures behind panels under drawers etc.

I did not think it possible but your filming, editing and storytelling has reached the next level. Purely excellent. As for flags, in Europe with emphasis in the North every boat/yacht is flying its national ensign and a courtesy flag if abroad. If docked the ensign is shown from 08:00h A.M. to sunset. Since Isa is growing so fast you may think about a chair in the cockpit. Have a look at RAN sailing they did it a few years ago for their daughter.

There are Americans I have met internationally that I wish would keep their nationality a secret, and I am happy Jordan is showing the world our good side.
Jordan, I have traveled and lived in a dozens and dozen countries around the world, mostly in the military. I have NEVER had a bad reaction to my being an American, actually mostly the opposite. As any American, we are a very visible people, easily identifiable. As you well know, there are disagreeable people out there, but even most disagreeable people understand that you are a person, not the country. I flew Old Glory from my apartment door in Europe and Asia, my car license plate, my sail boat, my motorcycle, my uniform, and 24/7 in my front yard with a light on it. If you treat everyone with a smile you will mostly get a smile in return. It is also amazing how many "foreigners" actually have family in Kansas or California.
Never be ashamed of being an American. I’m a proud American and I appreciate your sentiment. Good for you. God bless America
When my children were exploring new foods, my wife and I had a small food grinder. We used it to mush up the food we were eating and allow our kids to taste and eat the food we were eating. It worked out well for us. Thank you for representing America well. Keep it up! Been watching for years now and it has been a joy to watch, now all of you, grow. I hope you have a great trip back to the U.S. and back!

I was alarmed that Isabella was not wearing a life jacket when you were in the dingy. This is the first time I have seen her without one in the dingy. With her strapped to your chest in a baby carrier you would not be able to keep her above water if you fell out. I know you would never intentionally put her at risk so just a reminder.

Coming from a military family I know exactly what you are talking about with the flag. It's not that you are ashamed of it, sadly it can be a safety factor in some locations of the world. I noticed your flag right off in the video before you even said anything. I think it's wonderful that your family is experiencing what you are and I love the episodes where yall do have the opportunity to get together with family. We are really big traveller's and I have seen several locations in your videos that we will definitely visit. Isa looks so happy and she's the sweetest and cutest. I love the man at the marine store. Not to mention how much better you sound when you got out of town. I recently found out I had high cholesterol and it's really all about what you eat. I stopped eating processed foods, make my own bread, fruit for snacks etc. Start now while you're young. Good for you. Oh no table salt which is harder than no sugar to me lol
