I see I’m three years late for the comment section here, but this video is a great help for someone who can’t afford in person lessons right now… thanks bro!!
Never have I ever felt so damn cool doing a vocal exercise. The long guitar note in the background is genius man. You know your stuff. Quite *ucking epic
Thanks Ian again. It has been a month now. Love it, do only as much as I feel like doing, stoped pushing it & rather enjoy the exercisse. And as a result, great tone, pitch, flexibility & endurance when singing👌❤️
Aussie... You are so great.... I thank Our Lord Jesus Christ for you.... Because HE has given us such great teacher for us in music.... One Doubt.... May i Do this exercise during van travel in a national highway??? Because there is more vibration in van... Please reply me.... Joel From India ,🇳🇪🇳🇪
Haven't even gone through it yet but it's Aussie guy so I know it's gonna be good. Also, thanks for giving some love to the rock genre. Would love more and in different varieties and complexities. And now, I shall dig into this sweet stuff.
I'm not gonna lie. After practicing along with this video a few times a week for a month, I've noticed that my voice has gotten a lot better. I still need to do some work on that octave note in the D minor scale because I'm a little flat still. But I think some more attention to diafragm breathing will go a long way.
Alto here! While I am not singing every low note, I am doing the exercises. I have a very low range for a female singer. I like that I can play around with my mixed voice a bit. Love your Alto warm up. Daily I am doing your exercises. Thanks
Awesome workout! Helped me very much improve my voice in a short time. After I started this my voice jumped to another level exactly with this exercise. It is also so much pleasure to exercise with rock in the background. Highly recommended! THANK YOU!!! Please, do more similar workouts...
But... Like... The entire register here can't be done in one type of vocal posturing or voice, since everyone has a different range. So should we try to naturally shift around or just do it as you did it at the beginning in mostly the chest?
HI Castle, I am struggling on the last note and according to Indian music scale, I am a D#. What scale/pitch did you use for this exercise? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Love this content but I do question the structure. We have each exercise working in ascension but once we hit the top of the range we never descend back to the beginning low range. Is there a reason for ascension drills only?
Guys these workouts will help you a lot but remember you guys should know which note you are singing.... Its useless if you are just following piano and singing. You should be abe to feel and understand the note. You will awesome then

Agreed. wow. rock vocals sound badass!!!
Agreed. Not sure how he did it, but the scales and stuff sound extra "rock-y" in this, aka badass 🎸
That was awesome. Rock background really helps me to avoid my laziness. Thank you Mr Castle. Greetings from Poland. 🇵🇱🍻

Not a professional singer, but I do shift my register doing these exercises. As long I don't go into falsetto
I feel Jack Black from Tenacious D.

Damn i can hit all these note easily 😁
That first exe😢. Are you supposed to flip into head voice or push chest???
What is the vocal range? think it went to A4, would be good to see the scale.
The highest note is a C5
Hey man..love it! How many days a week for consistency??

There's some notes that I just can't reach at the top. What should I do?
please make one for girls!
There is a female version on my channel already.
🙏🙏
Are you going to offer skype lessons?
Hi Martin. Yes I will be. I will be doing that in the new year. Very busy at the moment with my “in studio” students.
Is it for only rock singers?
It's also for the fat lady when she sings
Your Njah descending scale changed half way through to wrong notes
Awesome, thanks!
